His estimate was 40% higher than two other estimates I already had. Also, he did not seem to know his business that well

work was not what i expected , changed estimate after i hired them. left yard a mess.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. We saw all these negative reviews of this company but still decided to take our chance at them because we naively thought he's price was competitive - what a HORRIBLE decision. This is going to be a long review since A LOT has gone wrong but if you don't have time to read all of them, read this: Hoang will agree to anything and offer a competitive price to get you in the door and even sign a contact with him, but he is dishonest and has no respect to anything he agrees to. Once he starts, he will start making unreasonable demands and asking for more money. You will likely feel it may be easier to agree to his demands instead of finding a new contractor. He will also ask you to prepay for his work and from there you will be officially trapped in. We spoke to a couple other contractors, and they all told us that - NEVER PREPAY and never hire someone who ask you to prepay. So here is the story: Hoang quoted me a price on the spot when he got here. We agreed to the price and timeline for the job. This was a huge red flag as he didn't even care how much the job would actually cost him, but was planning on demanding more money after winning our bid. Unfortunately we fell for his ruse and went with him. After signing the contract, we eagerly waited for the day the work was to start but surely the following happened when he arrived that day: 1. He asked for a bigger deposit. We agreed. 2. Then he told us that he'd like to give our job to his brother. This one we refused. 3. Then he told us that he had taken another 3-4 days job after he took ours, and needed to do that job in between our job.. Between waiting another couple days vs. finding another contractor, we agreed to this demand. 4. Then, he said that he had a vacation plan for end of the month, and would have to come back to finish our job after that... Again, we agreed. 5. After all that, he then demanded us to prepay him for the work instead of getting paid proportionally after each week's work is finished. This is something we had discussed and he had agreed to when we signed the contract. Under the circumstance of him standing in our backyard and seeing the work so close to be started, we actually seriously considered agreeing to that too. But thankfully we came to our senses and refused since judging from the way he conducts business from the beginning, we cant even imagine what would happen if we had prepaid him. He would have continued to ask for more money and we would have no recourse for his unreasonable demands. Do not hire him if you can help it. Know that he will try to get you in by offering a competitive price quote but trust me, you will end up paying a lot more as he demands more throughout the project.

I just used Mr. Hoang to do 2 fences a 50ft and a 14 ft, I was very impressed by the quality of the work and his personal. He had the work done quickly. I have 2 other projects i need done in the future and i will use him again.Very Happy overall, Price and quality of Materials where outstanding

Mr. Hoang poured a concrete patio and a walkway on the side of my house. I was looking for smooth finish, not a broom or stamped finish which is more difficult. I was also asking for saw cut seams, which he was not able to accomplish. The job came out OK. His price was competitive and his crew was very hard working. He started and finished on time.

They do a really good job

Sloppy work, did not listen to what I wanted, missed deadline, workers urinated around the yard, and had to tell them to pickup trash left around yard. I was very unhappy with the work and attitude
