Great Job on my fence. Fast and reliable.

crappy job and attitude problem.

I requested a change to my existing sprinkler system, to a drip system. He cut off two manifoldds, that we're brand new and kept them. Also cut off an existing line, so now I can't water my trees. Half of the draught resistance plants are dying. I can't get a hold of him because his mailbox is full.

The fence is up and it is keeping my dog in and my neighbors dog in for now. Joe Hoang was NOT there during the job, he sent over a man, along with Joes teenage son to start and complete the job. Joe brought lunch for them each day and took a look at the progress. The man, Pedro, did not speak any English, he was semi-skilled at best. He made a mistake on part of the fence, that Joe had to come and redo after I called him. And also, the gate he built was nothing like the original, not as strong and offset from the rest of the fence. Other issues include: 1-Concrete was left at the job site for me to clean up. 2-Staples instead of screws were used. 3-In 3 places the whole fence panel is starting to warp because of the way the top crosspiece was attached. We have a fence on the other side of our house that was built with quality materials and screws and it is holding up fine, no warping. Communication was an issue with all personnel involved. I have been very patient and contacted Joe to come by and look at the gate a number (4) of times. Just today he finally came by (5 months after the job) and would not re-do the gate. He said it was a better built gate and he did sort of a fix to bring the gate out a couple more inches so it is closer to lining up with the fence.. On the second and last day of the job (which was completed the 1st week of November), Joe came by and asked for the balance early in the day, before the job was finished, and paid him the rest of the money. I advise you wait until the job is complete to pay the balance due. The total for the job was $3,850 for roughly 65 feet of fencing and the gate. Maybe had Joe been here and done the work himself, the outcome would have been different. It is now February, 2024 (original work was October of 2021) and Joe has contacted me to rectify the work, so that I will edit the review. We are meeting tomorrow. After our meeting, I have decided not to have Joe do any more work. I will live with the fence and the gate as they are. And I have edited this review.

I found this to be a family owned business with one helper by the name of Pedro. All employees were covid responsible, polite, knowledgeable and respectful. I chose materials that ad to be ordered so the job took a little longer but that was not unexpected during this pandemic. Under the direction of Mr. Hoang, his employee Pedro completed a beautiful Stone Wall, Columns, Steps and Paver Walkway. Thoroughly happy with every piece of this job. Thank you Mr. Hoang!

Mr. Huong was great! He has a very hard working team around him, and he did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend for drought tolerant landscaping!

So, first off, Mr. Hoang will work with what you have got more or less and I believe he is a good guy. Now, I hired him to put up a fence, remove my deck, and pave under where the deck used to be. All in all, the job was done and done pretty well. But he does not listen to the details you want. We asked him to use a screw for our fence, he used staples. We asked him to check for holes along our fence that he was not replacing and he did not but said there were none (there were a few holes in our wire fence that dogs came in through). He threw all of his trash into our recycling containers, used our garden hoses (which I had no problem with, but he never asked and just left them on after leaving too), and was generally very sloppy even after cleaning everything up. Granted his English is not very good, he still understands what you mean and knows what he is doing. But the level of professionalism was pretty low. When he came back to do our deck work he showed up on a Friday, but we scheduled it for the following Wednesday. When I asked him about it he said he scheduled it for that Wednesday, but okay? It is still Friday so you are still 2 days late even if it was that week! No phone call no text, you just have to hope that he shows up. You can call him, but he rarely picks up. I was done by that point but had him finish the job at least. Oh and he dumped a load of extra concrete onto my back lawn to hold it there before hauling it away at the end. He also left a pile of concrete in my front yard in a planter and now has encased it in concrete. Cool. By the end of it, the concrete work was solid and nice, but the surrounding area was covered in concrete dust and chunks of concrete were all over the place. I just wanted him out by that point. I do not recommend him if you are not home 24/7 to maybe catch him if he decides to show up on a random day or if you value cleanliness after a job is done. Granted he did clean up most of his trash and materials, but I mean, still no communication from the guy. All my hoses needed to be cleaned too because of all the concrete he got on them.

Mr. Hoang and his crew were very fast and professional. I’m very happy with my new lawn and sprinkler system.

Mr. Hoang did not understand that a fence gate with a pool is required to open going out not in. He would not change the fence gate. He also asked for $200 more than the contract stated.

Mr. Hoang did an outstanding job installing my fence. I strongly recommend him.

Very efficient and very good work.

We hired him for Concrete and Painting as well. He and Crew did a great job.

Make sure the contractor do what is expected,1st day look like he new what was needed for the job.The second day smooth the area like work done(I am still working the area almost every day).

Not trustworthy. One quote over the phone became a different story on the job site. Then the foreman tried to short us on the promised materials. Good thing we were home.
