Matthew's Moving & Storage was great. Called them on Monday asking if they could do a minor one hour move and they were able to squeeze me in the very next day. They were prompt, professional and very helpful. Would absolutely use them again!

Matt did an amazing job. I was concerned about having movers help me move furniture around my house due to the cost, but his pricing was very reasonable. His team was very efficient and very courteous. He was also on time and very careful with our furniture. I would definitely use him for my next move.

Matt and his team are absolutely outstanding! They packed our entire house in just over a day, and start to finish the whole process took less than 48 hours. Their professionalism is outstanding! They were extremely careful with everything and the only thing that was broken was a small mirror, and Matt immediately told me about it, and then went and got a replacement mirror and drove back the next day to install it. I've never had a better moving experience anywhere in the US, and we've moved a lot. Matt may be a tad more expensive, but it is definitely worth it to have a trustworthy and professional team moving your things.

Overall, it was the best moving experience we have ever had. My family was worn out from a the weeks of packing and they literally were just able to relax the day of the move. These people are experts at what they do and they know how to involve their customer in all the right places and get the job done beautifully. Thank you Matt and team, you guys are the best!

A quick unload and they were finished. I would highly recommend them.

They showed up a little ahead of schedule (a plus), with a nice large truck and took care of the move faster than I had expected, without any issues at all. They had all our large items moved out of our old 2 BR place and into the new one before noon. In the past 10 years I've made two cross country moves and two within california and Mattews is the best outfit I've worked with. Very professional, quick and careful.

I spoke with Matt to set up an appointment for an estimate. He called when he was on his way and showed up early for the appointment. His crew arrived on time, finished ahead of time and the job came in $300 below estimate! The crew was professional, extremely courteous, efficient and helpful. They kept asking us if we needed anything, or could they move something for us! I have moved many times and have never had as good of an experience as I had with Matthew's Moving and Storage.

Matthew arrived right on time. He was very careful with my mother's treasured possessions (especially her grandfather clock). He completed the move on time and on budget. He was efficient, professional, and pleasant. It was a very good experience for my mom and me.

Everything went great. The guys were really nice, helpful and took great care with my things. I really appreciated that they were on top of everything. From my first phone call to Matt, to his follow-up confirmation call the day before the move to the prompt arrival of the moving team it went without a hitch. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed to find a mover to move all my worldy possessions from Santa Clarita to Sherman Oaks. Matt came to my home for a walk through to see what it is I had to move, and provided me a quote via e-mail a few hours later as he said he would. I received bids from three different companies and Matthew's Moving and Storage was the least expensive of them all. Some movers I spoke to said they did not need to come out before the move; nevertheless, I didn't consider them for the job. I needed boxes for the move, and Matt brought them over while I was at work and left them in my backyard for me. There were a few extra unused boxes after the move that Matt credited to my final bill. His crew showed up on the day of the move right on time and moved everything out quickly. His guys are very conscientious - one even pointed out there was evidence of spider eggs on the bottom of my couch so they could be vacuumed up before the couch was wrapped up. The crew was also very good about applying felt to the bottom of the furniture feet so they would not scratch up my newly refinished floors at the new house. I'm still unpacking a week after the move, and so far I haven't found any evidence of anything broken or damaged. And I was very impressed with Matt's responsiveness to any questions or needs I had. Matthew's Moving has VERY good customer service - something you just don't find much anymore. I highly recommend.

Excellent service. The owner called several times to confirm appt. time and date. Also, owner came out to our home on day of move. Owner very friendly, courteous, and professional. Movers were great. Took great care in moving our furniture - wrapping things up when necessary. Took extra time and care to take care of all of our belongings. Would definitely definitely hire this moving co. again. Owner is awesome!

The experience was a positive one from the very beginning with the initial phone call to Matt Wetzel. He understood exactly what needed to be done. The movers came on time. There is nothing negative to report. I would use Matt's moving company again.

Matt came out to do the intital estimate which was was within $5 of the actual moving price. The crew arrived right on time and they really hustled. They absolutely know what they are doing and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Since we don't plan on moving again any time soon, I will simply have to settle for referring them to anyone looking for a reliable and reasonably price moving company. We couldnt' have been any more pleased with Matthew Moving.

They were outstanding. The only issue was that it took a little more time than we anticipated so we ended up spending more money. However, they were great and we could not be happier. They placed velvet on the bottoms of all of our furniture -- which is crucial if you have floors. Make sure you purchase these on your own and give them to Matt Wetzel's guys to place for you. Also, remind them of any furniture (i.e., sofa with mattress) that needs to be secured with plastic. We had one sofa where the mattress fell open (unexpected by everyone) and scratched our floor. It was a freak accident. Just make sure that you tell them if you have anything that can come loose and they will happily wrap the plastic. Their guys seem like professionals. Very accommodating and helpful. All communicate nicely. Again, overall, they were great. Highly recommend!! Thanks for the great service, Matt!

Matthews gave me the scoop on their services and prices, and we agreed on a date. It got delayed and they told me when they could otherwise do the job. In every respect, Matthews were totally professional, friendly, helpful and responsive. I was totally confident that they would have done a 100% satisfactory job!

I called Matt first to inquire how far in advance we needed to schedule for a move in March - it's more or less off-season, and I was able to schedule a moving date within a week of calling. Unfortunately, a day before the move (and after arranging four other family members' schedules!) we discovered that there was some additional paperwork we had to complete before moving Mother into the board & care. So...one panicked telephone call later, Matt graciously did not forfeit my initial deposit, but transferred it to the next available date. On moving day, Matt and his helper arrived at the assisted-living residence on schedule, and proceeded to box and load everything. He suggested that if some of us wanted to help pack, we'd save them a little time and save us a little $$ - so my brother-in-law & I joined the packing party, while my husband & niece took Mother to lunch and a hair salon appointment. Matt shrink-wrapped the furniture to keep dust off and drawers together, wheeled everything out without damaging walls, and got the truck packed with a few things to be dropped off at a storage unit loaded last. They maneuvered the truck into the storage warren with ease, unloaded in ten minutes and were off to the board & care. The remainder of the move proceeded without incident - all furniture was placed according to my sister-in-law's direction (the family interior-designer-in-chief). The entire process took approximately four hours, with a brief break for lunch. I plan on using Matthew's Moving to temporarily relocate my downstairs furniture while my new floor's being installed sometime this year. It is so nice to have competent professionals to rely on!

Matthew's was awesome. They were punctual and very thorough. The owner came out and finished an estimate after about a twenty minute walk through. The actual cost was about $200 less than his estimate. I already had lots of boxes from a previous mover, which they re-used to save us material costs. They were thorough about labeling the boxes, we have been able to find everything easily due to their attention to detail. They brought a crew for packing and completed the packing on a Friday and moved us on a Saturday. They brought two trucks and 4 guys(one of them was the owner)to make it easier to protect our antiques and to make the move go quickly. On moving day, we started at 8am and the movers were done and gone by 1pm. We did not have a single damaged item during the move. Later we found out that our neighbors in both the old and new neighborhoods also used Matthews with similar experience to ours. I'd definitely use them again.

When I called to set up an appointment Matt (the owner) was very helpful and let me know all the charges up front. I called about a month ahead of the move, and Matt called me 3 times to confirm our move, apparently he's had a lot of cancellations lately. But at least I was sure they would show up and they did, right on time. The movers (Matt says they have each been with him for over 3 years) were very efficient and extremely careful with our belongings and our house (no nicked walls, etc.) They really understand local moves, and made it easy. They provide wardrobe boxes, so you can leave your clothes in your closet until they show up, then just hang everything in the boxes. They also make sure that the fridge is the last thing on the truck and the first thing off, so you don't have to worry too much about spoiling food. They also carry (and will sell you, for a slight mark-up) new hoses for your washer, dryer, and fridge. I hadn't planned on buying new hoses, but I was glad they had them, since the old ones weren't quite long enough in the new house. Would have been a bit cheaper to get them myself at a home improvement store, but then I would have had to install them, so worth it for me. Overall a very good experience, and while you can find movers cheaper, I would say Matthew's are worth it.

In 1996, I had to move out of my condo for an earthquake rebuild, and moved back after almost a year. I had had a mediocre experience with the company had I used for the move-out. When it was time to move back, I needed a new one. I cannot remember exactly how I heard of Matthews, but I was absolutely delighted with their service. They were a small company then, with only a few trucks. When that truck showed up the vehicle was spotless, and the 3 movers, including Matt, the owner, were meticulous in appearance. That alone gave me hope, but the service was better than I thought I could ever expect given past experiences. All were courteous and punctual, and Matt went over every inch of both condos and the furniture to make sure they hadn't nicked any paint or wood finish as they moved everything. Several of my friends have used them in recent years, some repeatedly. The service is still excellent. If you need a mover, check them out. You'll be glad you did.

Both movers were very friendly, conscientious, and quick. The whole move took under two hours, and they were right on time. They had reasonable prices, and only a two-hour minimum.

OVERALL, VERY SATISFIED. TWO OF THE THREE WORKERS WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE THE JOB WAS DONE PROPERLY, IN A TIMELY ORDER AND CAREFULLY AS NOT TO BREAK ANYTHING.

MATTHEWS MOVING AND STORAGE HAS MOVED ME AND MY FAMILY TWICE IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. EACH TIME OUR BELONGINGS ARE TREATED WITH CARE AND RESPECT. MATT WETZEL, THE OWNER, EVEN DESIGNED A CUSTOM CRATE FOR A LARGE PAINTING OF OURS, ENSURING THAT ONE OF OUR EARTHLY TREASURES WOULD BE SAFE FOR STORAGE AND THEN DELIVERY TO OUR NEW HOME.
