Description of Work: Golden Eagle moved our entire household to our new house. The movers were efficient and very, very careful with our items. We moved to a loft with a very narrow staircase and the movers worked slowly and carefully to avoid scuffing the hallways and walls. We will definitely being using Golden Eagle Movers for our next move.

Description of Work: They packed my 2 bdrm apt one day, and moved everything the following day. Not bad, overall. I just found the price to be quite steep. I mean, I can only imagine if I had a 4-5 bdrm house, to include the common areas, yikes! But other than the price tag, I'd totally recommend them. I just thought it wouldn't take over 6 hrs to move an apartment of that size. Not packing, that part was fast and thorough, the move portion of the already packed apt is what blew my mind. To be fair, I was on the second floor, so traversing the stairs may have proven troublesome, or not, just wanted to get all of the facts out there.

Description of Work: The office staff and the guys at Golden Eagle were all terrific. This was a multi-part move, picking up some items at an apartment, then stopping at our storage unit for the rest of of our possessions. They were prompt, friendly, respectful, hard working and very careful. At the end of the job, we found out that one of our movers was given a "mover with excellence" award from the national office of the moving company. The office kept in touch with every step of the way to make sure that our move was smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

 + -1 moreI recieved an in home estimate from Chris in June. He gave me tips on how to pack properly and provided and estimete for a full days work with 4 men and a semi-truck. He made it clear that the estimate would be the highest price I would pay and if I finished early I would receive a refund. He also told me I could change the moving date up to 1 day before the move with no extra charge or problem. My escrow had some problems and we had tochange the moving date 3 times. The ladies in the office were understanding and when the final date was not available made sure to find me one as close as possible within my time constraints. The men called before they came, provided wardrobe boxes which they packed and were careful to wrap all furniture. They also disconnected the washer and dryer. 11 hours later everything was in my new house, appliances reconnected and difficult furniture placed without a scratch. These men worked as if I was there own mother! We finished 15 minutes overtime but my estimate stood with no additional charges. I will recommend them to all I know. Thank you Angies's List for a great recommendation.
Description of Work: Moved my entire household goods, took apart and reassembled furniture, installed the washer and dryer, changed furniture and boxes that were placed in the wrong rooms and kept a professional demeanor at all times.

Description of Work: 60 a pound. The Golden Eagle moved us from California to North Caroline with only one chair damages. Still waiting on the repair cost to be paid. And there is an Ipod missing.

 + -1 moreThe crew arrived early. They asked whether I minded if they took a ten minute break after a few hours. This is just another indication of their professionalism. This is the best moving experience that I have had. If you need a moving company, hire these folks.
Description of Work: This was a local move of approximately 13 miles in Temecula. Doug gave us an estimate that was exactly correct. The move took 4 movers two days. The workers were excellent (Jerry, Jerry, Jason, and I forget the fourth name). We could tell that the three named had much experience (one more than 30 years). They were extremely careful. Not one scratch on a wall nor a broken item in the move. They were not the low price yet as they say, you get what you pay for. They wrapped each piece of furniture before moving it.

Description of Work: Had them come to my home and quote pricing on a move from Rancho Cucamonga to Lake Elsinore. Their sales rep showed up at the appointed time and provided a thorough and professional quote. They were extremely flexible and committed to meet my timeline. The pricing quoted was moderate to high; however the firm has an outstanding track record, and I think the axiom "you get what you pay for" would definitely apply, based on my limited exposure.

 + -1 moreEverything has always gone well. This last time unfortunately a glass table top corner was cracked. Even though I had not bought the additional insurance they actually covered more than was required by the basic insurance to help replace it. Very friendly and timely as well.
Description of Work: Moved me three times from home to home in the last few years. Two times they even made a pickup stop for an item I purchased from a store on the way.
