Perfect install,great plumber, felt great about the experience...

They were amazing. I wish they did other things. I checked with another company who were supposed to be the cheapest, but they were cheaper. They have a really price and they have whatever we want on the truck. They come out and give the estimate and stuff and have the water heater in the truck. He was in uniform, very knowledgeable and explains everything. They were just amazing. The only bad thing is that they don?t do anything else.

I was extremely impressed with Water Heaters Only Inc-Glendale from the time I checked Angie's List and saw their A rating and glowing reviews, through my initial call with Nick, and especially by Tony who arrived at my home about 75 minutes after I spoke to Nick. I had received an estimate from another vendor and Water Heaters Only Inc-Glendale's price was about $500 less. Tony was courteous, well-mannered, very professional and a master at his craft. He and an associate removed our leaking old tank and replaced it with a 75 gallon Bradford White M2XR75 tank. Tony replaced valves and piping to the tank as well as the gas line immediately feeding the tank. He also advised that we needed additional earthquake strapping for a tank of that size and took care of that also. I was present during the entire installation and personally observed how meticulous Tony was when installing the new valves, piping and the tank. He also impressed me with his desire to please and by how clean he kept the work area in our home while he was working and how thouroughly he cleaned up the area after he completed the installation and before leaving. I am HIGHLY IMPRESSED with Water Heaters Only Inc-Glendale, Nick and Tony and have already recommended them to a neighbor. I would utilize their services again without hesitation!

Discovered late at night hot water connector hose was leaking. 7am the next morning starting calling, and this company has a service which answered the phone with a live person, who proceeded to book a service call for 9am that morning. Service person gave me an advance call about 30 minutes before arriving. Assessed the job, made the repair and changed the cold water hose as a precaution. Job was completed within 30 minutes.

Their price was very competitive with other bids I received from local plumbers who had performed work for me before. Installer arrived within scheduled appointment time and work was performed competently. After speaking with my tenant I discovered the wrong model of unit was installed. I immediately had second thoughts about using this highly recommended Angies List service provider instead of more costly plumber for this job. Not to worry! Dave the service manager acknowledged problem and immediately said they would install the model I originally ordered at no additional cost to me. They promptly rescheduled, replaced unit and made me a very happy customer.

Dave and his team did an outstanding job with our water heater. It died one afternoon and they had someone at our house within an hour to replace it. Our house is on a steep hillside and the water heater is in a utility room under the house, so it's hard to get to. Despite this Tony (the technician) and his guys replaced the heater and dragged the old 400lb heater across a slippery hillside in the rain to haul it away. They really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had hot water that day. I'd definitely use them again.

We discovered that our gas water heater was leaking, the pilot light was out, and we had no hot water. Found Water Heaters Only, Inc. on Angie's List and felt comfortable because they specialize in water heater installations and they were highly recommended. I spoke to Paul, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Paul explained the whole process -- that they come out, diagnose the problem and provide a free estimate. He said that they would bring a Bradford White water heater just in case our water heater needed to be replaced. Paul gave me additional information about the brand and warranty. He was patient and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Paul scheduled a service person to come out the next morning with a two-hour window. I received a call the next morning telling me when the repair person would arrive. Fabian was great. He inspected the old water heater and explained why it was beyond repair. He removed the old water heater, cleaned the storage closet, and installed the new water heater. Fabian was very professional and courteous. He gave us the necessary instructions, answered all of our questions, and applied the Angie's List coupon to the bill. I also spoke to Dave in the office when I had questions about the extended warranty.. He was also informative and very nice. We were very pleased with the service provided by Water Heaters Only, Inc. and recommend them highly to others.

Puddle of water discovered beneath leaking water heater early in the morning. Didn't know who to call so we checked Angie's List. Water Heaters Only had a live person answering the phone, extremely professional, who sent someone to help us within a few hours. They put in a new water heater for us and accepted the discount coupon from Angie's List without complaint. Turns out our old water heater was installed in 1989--by, surprisingly enough--Water Heaters Only! Thanks for the help, Angie's List.

worker was professional only complaint is that only one guy showed up, so one of our employee's had to help him carry the water heaters.

They came out for the estimate and then returned to perform the work when we decided to have them perform the work. They were on time and professional during both visits. They gave us an estimate for both a tankless and storage system We opted to go with a simple replacement. The serviceman was knowlegable about both options and was very helpful. The work was completed quickly and the job was clean. I would use this company again.

We recently purchased this home and the inspection report mentioned that the water heater was older, but still working. Unfortunately it also said the hot water was not turn on so after closing and moving in we turn on the hot water and started to notice a constant puddle around the water heater closet. We called the home warranty company and had someone come out to see it. It was definately leaking and in need of replacement. Because the inspection report said it was old the home warranty denied our claim.We then looked into getting it on our own. We were going to go through HD, but the company they outsource the job didnt' have favorable reviews on Angie's. My husband contracted Water Heaters only. they were able to accomidate us within a week of calling them. (we wanted to be home for the install). The only dissapointing part was that the window given was from 9am-11am. They ended up showing up at 1pm. I did call and each time the gentleman was very apologetic and friendly. He mentioned someone called in sick and backed uo their job. Every company has this story or a bad day. Once the installer arrived he got right to work. He was proffessional. Walked me through what he was going to do and then showed me the result. Overall I was happy with the service. Bummed I missed the USA vs. England soccer match though. I'm glad I was able to use my Angie's list coupon!

woke up to a broken water heater.. they came over in 45 minutes time and replaced the old one in under 2 hours.. totally pro.

My 20+ year water heater finally gave out so I used Angie's List to find Water Heaters Only. They set up an appointment for the next day. The guy showed in the window of time we agreed upon. He had to do quite a bit of work to fit the new water 40 gallon heater in the small space where the old 30 gallon one had been. When he was finished, he cleaned up the area really well and hauled away the old water heater. When it came to pricing, I had done a little research beforehand and the price the service guy quoted seemed like the going rate. However, he was kind enough to allow me to make three installment payments (with post-dated checks) without any additional fees or interest. Plus, I had an Angie's List coupon which knocked off $50. Update: After reading the Angie's List article about workers using the restroom, I have to update this review. When the installer arrived, the first thing he asked was to use my bathroom. As a single woman I'm not all that comfortable with strange men using my bathroom, especially since it it very close to my bedroom where jewelry and other personal items are kept. In spite of this I allowed him to use the facilities because I didn't want to appear rude. He was in there a LONG time! Flash forward: The water heater needed an adjustment and the same guy showed up. Guess what? First thing he did was ask to use the restroom! Again, I allowed him and, thankfully, he was only in there a short time. Thank you, Angie's List, for bringing this issue out in the open. Before your article I felt too uptight to discuss this experience.

Very well and professionally executed. Mark installed the new unit, explained all the working parts and advised & instructed me how to flush the tank every 6 months. He fixed the outer casing that was originally installed improperly; cleaned up and removed the old water tank for disposal. Excellent job!

The day of the appointment, I received a call from Dave to let me know that the mechanic Thomas would arrive within 45-minutes. It was refreshing to have a contractor actually report their appointment status, so you are not left wondering what happened to them. Thomas explained to me the general idea of what he was going to do, and along the way asked me if I had any questions, which of course I had lots of, and he very professionally answered all of them clearly and concisely. He performed all of the work as promised and even tested my water main pressure to make sure it was within operating parameters; above and beyond what the installation called for. After completing installation, Thomas even cleaned up around the work area. He showed me how to operate the unit, and how to perform an annual maintenance drainage of the unit, and once again asked if I had any questions. Thomas was professional and courteous throughout the visit and exhibited super customer service, not only making it a pleasant experience, but truly living up to their high ratings here at Angie's List. I'm glad we called Water Heaters Only to do this work, not only were they competitive in their package pricing, but they were extremely pleasant too deal with. I highly recommend anyone looking to replace their water heater to call them up, you cannot go wrong with this company!

My rental had a water heater that was not working. A plumber that I normally use went out there and said that the water heater needed to be replaced and gave me a quote that seemed somewhat high and they weren't sure if they could find that size water heater. So I looked into Angie's list to see if there was anyone else who could give me a quote and explain why it woudl cost $1100 to replace a water heater. I called Water Heater's Only and was met with professionalism and honesty. They were very accomodating that they agreed to call my tenant 40 minutes prior to arriving so she wouldn't have to wait the entire time. Who does that anymore. They were prompt. They investigated the situation and determined that there was no power getting to the water heater. They could have went ahead and replaced the water heater and I would still have a non-working water heater. They did all this without charging me. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM WHEN THE TIME COMES TO REPLACE THE WATER HEATER. IT IS SO HARD TO FIND HONEST CONTRACTORS.

They were really fantastic! This was a very complicated install, and they stilll managed to charge 25% less than other bids. They had a thorough understanding of the complexity of the project and did a great job! We are used to paying more for better service, so this was a great experience!

Had a water heater emergency on a Saturday morning. Called around a bunch and luckily found and spoke to Bill. They had someone out within an hour, replaced my water heater and in no time at all I had hot water again. And were at least $150 cheaper than any other company I called. A lot of companies wanted to charge overtime for Saturday service but these guys didn't. They were knowledgeable, professional, clean and the best price in town. In fact, he fixed up the shed that holds the water heater and left everything looking better than before. Highly recommend.

Called around 8:30am and Fabian came out by 11:30am and installed the new water heater right away and was done by 2pm. I was very pleased with how everything went. Fabian was very courteous and professional and explained everything very well. I had 2 other estimates and Water Heaters Only, inc was able to give me the best price. I was even able to use the $50 coupon from Angie's list. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Thank you!

Our hot water heater was leaking and we needed to replace it as soon as possible. I had received one very high estimate from a plumber who could not replace it until the following Monday---5 days away. I was leaving town the next morning and needed it replaced before I left. I called Water Heaters Only at 5:10 p.m. and the guy who answered the phone was friendly, courteous, and helpful. He told me that they install any heater the customer wants but have Rheem heaters in stock. He likes Rheem because they are a high quality product and responsive to his business needs. He also said that if something should go wrong, he can address the' problem instead of telling me to contact the manufacturer. When he asked when I'd like the work done, I said, "as soon as possible." When he asked, "Tomorrow? This evening?" I nearly fell over. I said, "Really? This evening? You would do that?" He said, "I'll call my guy right now and call you back to let you know when he will arrive." A few minutes later I received his call telling me the installer was on the way and should be at my house in 20 minutes. The installer came, accompanied by a helper, he looked at the old heater set-up, assessed what he needed and went to work. In about an hour (maybe less) he was done. They replaced the connection flex lines too. He explained that the water would take an hour or so to heat up and asked if I had any other questions.

I called Water Heaters Only on Thursday and they were able to come out for the install the following Saturday. The plumber actually arrived at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am appointment. Overall, the install took 3 1/2 hours, the area was left clean, and the installation looks very professional. The cost was $30 more than the original estimate, only because I had him add in a drain pan

I called them, they came out the next day to install the heater. They went out there to do extras, great installation. Mark was the installer he did a great job.

Fantastic experience! My 15 year-old water heater had begin to leak a few weeks before, and the leak was growing daily and more significantly. I had a plumber come and look at it but my experience with him was unsatisfying and I didn't trust him, so went to Angie's List and found these guys. On Tuesday afternoon I called and asked for an estimate to replace the heater, and spoke to Paul, who quoted me a price of 949 all inclusive, which I could tell was competitive. He was friendly and answered all my questions and I told him I would call him back -- I thought I had some time with the old heater. But by Wednesday morning the heater was leaking significantly and I could tell it was in its last throes. I called the office back at 11:30AM and this time talked to Eric, who now quoted me 899 all-in, and I had an AL coupon for an additional 25 off for a total $874. I wanted to schedule the work but had to be out of my house by by 2:30. Long story short, they sent a man over and he got to me about an hour later. His name was Tony and he was friendly, knowledgeable, polite and diligent. The heater was installed by 1:45 and Tony was on his way. This is a company that knows what they are doing.
