Water Heaters Only, Inc

On Monday, the pilot light on my hot water went out and wouldn't stay lit. It was only 8 years old, but internet searches revealed it as a very unreliable model. I called a few places for repair estimates. Water Heaters Only was direct in their assessment. They could come out on Tuesday, charge for a service call to diagnose the problem, then they'd order any necessary parts and return the following day to install them. We scheduled an appointment for the diagnostic service call the next day, and I was fortunately able to find the necessary replacement part on my own. Tony, their technician, was professional, friendly, and knowledgable. He showed up on time and replaced the part in a flash. An hour later, the pilot light was out again. After another call with Water Heaters Only, the options were very quickly reduced to attempting more expensive repairs or simply replacing the water heater. Since further repairs would cost about half of what a new, more efficient water heater would cost, I decided to replace it. Their quoted price was right in line with all the other esimates I received, and they installed a higher quality brand than I currently had. Plus, they would credit me for the price of the first service call. On Wednesday, Tony was back to put in the new heater. Just like his previous trip, he was on-time and did great work. The new water heater is excellent. Already, I can tell it is much more efficient - on the lowest setting, it provides hotter water than my old model ever did. I definitely recommend Water Heaters Only. I was very hesitant about hiring a general plumber to try and fix my old heater, and more than one plumber declined the job. Another company didn't even offer a repair service, they did replacements only. Water Heaters only were honest, direct, and did a great job. With any luck, it will be many, many years before I need to call Water Heaters Only, but when that day eventually comes, I will definitely call them again.

There was a small issue and they took care of it immediately. They replaced the water heater and did a fine job.

I phoned Water Heaters Only and they were able to schedule someone to come out the very next day to perform the work (which was a Saturday). The worker showed up on time. He was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The work was done to perfection. Not only was the work done to my standards but this company takes you back to the good old days with their customer service. They offered for me to make payments over several months which was greatly appreciated at this point in time for us. They get an A++++ from me and I will definitely recommend them to family and friends. Excellent company and thank you again for the wonderful customer service you provided for me from your office staff and most importantly the installer and his excellent work.

Saw their name on Angies list along with glowing reviews.so, i gave them a call. I explained my situation over the phone and was given a rough estimate for the repairs required. A time was set up for the next day to come out and give me an estimate for the work. Their employee arrived when he promised, took a look at my situation and gave me a very competitive price for the repair. We agreed to the estimate, and to my surprise, he went to his truck, grabbed all the things he needed for the job, including the new water heater, and started right away. Two hours later, I had a new water heater. He did an excellent installation, replaced an old gas hose, hauled away the old tank and cleaned up the area. Very satisfied with the company. Will definitely used them again when I upgrade to a tankless water heater system.

My water heater started leaking. Believe it or not, the water heater was apparently over 30 years old, so, I just wanted to replace it - if nothing else to have a more energy efficient water heater. I actually had planned to pick a local provider with excellent reviews here. However, when I made the phone call at 8 am on Monday morning, it went to a recording. So, I continued down my list. Next was Water Heaters Only. They picked up immediately, and serviced in my area (which I already knew from this site). The technician, Ron, called during the time promised, and showed up in the during the window promised. He checked things out, concurred that it was time for a new water heater, and gave me a ball park price initially. He then checked to determine what rules needed to be followed for my city. It turned out, he needed to build a stand, and put the earthquake straps on - my old water heater had none of this. Bottom line was, he indicated it would be best to do this job the following day - a bit of a bummer, but it was already 4 pm. He had provided me a quote - it was consistent with what other people were paying for similar installation (40 gallon traditional water heater). He showed up the next morning on time, did the install - I think it took maybe 5-6 hours. When he was finished, he gave me sort of a briefing of what he needed to watch over the next day, just in case there were any problems with the install (there were none). He also advised me how to operate the water heater (this one is a bit different than my 30 year old water heater - presumably has a CPU in it). Bottom line - I was very happy with the job, and grateful to have a new, non-leaking hot water heater.

Our water heater died on a Saturday (of course) so we searched around for someone who could replace it over the weekend. We found Water Heaters Only on Angies List and saw the stellar reviews. I called them and immediately spoke to a human (Bill) who was very helpful and scheduled us for service the next day (our choice), Sunday between 11 and 2. He gave us an estimate that turned out to be accurate. On Sunday, they called us to let us know that the service guy would arrive around noon. Fabian came at noon and was highly professional (and a nice guy). He replaced the water heater, did all the connecting and strapping, and hauled our old one away, all in less than two hours. He left everything neat and clean. I was taking a hot shower half an hour after he left. All in all, a great experience, especially on a weekend.

The company was the best. I totally understand why they are a top performer on Angie's list. I got a call from my tenant at 7:30am that the water heater was broken (leaking water everywhere) and was able to have her turn the water off. I had a crazy day at work and was not sure how I was going to get someone out quickly and schedule it around a time that worked for me, but Water Heaters Only not only did just that but exceeded my expectations. I called and talked to Dave at 8am and by 9:15 a rep met me at the house and by 11:30am I had a new water heater....honestly I cannot remember when I got customer service and actual service/job from a contractor this fast and simple. The cost was a about $200 more than I was quoted on the phone, but honestly it was a quote and not an actual so it was not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink over -- I looked at as paying for the convenience and the EXCELLENT service. Great job and I will not only recommend them to anyone that asks, but I plan to race over to Yelp and provide a review there too!!!

My old water heater was functioning well but it is more than 10 years old. I have to do some work in the basement where the heater was located, so I might as well replace it. I have to pay more since they have to come out twice, first to remove the heater and a few days later to put a new one in. I think that is reasonable. They show up on time and the work is done very professionaly. So far I have no problems with the heater.

Called, and got the appointment on the same day. Installer came, gave us a quote. We accepted, and they did the job right then! Everything was professionally done and we are very happy with the new heater. The installation took maybe about 3 hours, but they did the job right.

I called Water Heaters Only on a Friday to have them replace my 12 yr old GE gas water heater. They said they could have someone out between 10am-12pm the next day (Sat). The call operator was very friendly and helpful. On Saturday someone called to give me an update and said the tech would be able to arrive from 10 to 1030am. Around 1030 the tech (Fabian) showed and inspected my water heater. He then went over some things with me and then went out to get a quote for me. Came back in and told me the price and I signed to have the work done immediately instead of waiting for the 3 days to shop around. He said it would take about 2 hours, which it did. My water heater had a lot of sediment in it so it took a few tries to get it to drain. He was professional and careful and did all the hookups. Installed new Bradford White 40 gal water heater as well as ball valve, hot and cold flex line, insulation, bracing, sediment trap, gas flex line, etc. After installation we checked the lines to make sure all faucets in the house were working and had good flow. While he finished up he checked to make sure there were no leaks. He went over the flush procedure and the main check points and items on my new water heater. All in all a great job.Total time was 2.25 hrs. Only gripe was there was a little debris that was left on the floor from the installation that he didn't clean up but nothing big. I took care of it myself.

They did a great job. They came out to do an estimate then sent Fabien out to do the installation. He did such a good job, I wanted to make sure to mention him. If anyone is looking for a water heater, they should go to Water Heaters Only and ask for Fabien. We are really happy! I would absolutely use Water Heaters Only again.

He came from Angie's List. I called him, he came, I looked to see who I bought my hot water heater from in 1989, and it was the same company. I asked him if I could have the same price, he said no. I showed him the old receipt, he cracked up, and ask him if this one was going to last as long. I had a five year warranty on the one in 1989 and it lasted 20 years. They did an excellent job and I didn't compare prices. They were fast, efficient, neat, and clean. There was other issues that added to the cost. He had to move my washer and dryer to get it. He had to install different plates and things to bring it up to code.

It went very well. Their technician arrived exactly on time and he was very polite, very nice and very professional. His name was Tony. He did a great job and the installation of the new water heater seemed to go very smoothly. Because our water heater was 14 years old we had to bring it up to code. It was a relief to get it done so quickly and to have our hot water working again. I would not hesitate to use this Company again or recommend them to a friend or neighbor.

The technician was on time. He was able to re-light the pilot light and left. I was not charged for this visit. Several hours later I ran the hot water and only tepid water came out. I called Water Heaters Only again and was told that the technician would return and try to fix the problem. He came out again and this time replaced the thermostat. He told me that it was under warranty, but he would have to charge me $125 to install it. After he left I again tried the hot water. Again, no luck. I called Water Heaters Only again and was told that another technician would be coming out at 9:00am the next morning. When he came out, he said that the thermocouple was bad and that the other technician should have replaced it. He had the part on hand and replaced it. Hot water at last!!! I have used Water Heaters Only in the past to install and service my water heaters. I intend to use them again in the future. Hopefully I won't take three visits to fix things.

I called the company in the morning and was able to get an appointment the same morning. The serviceman showed up on time and went straight to work. Replaced an existing water heater. Left the work area cleaner and neater than when he started. I thought the price was fair, not cheap, but fair (then do you really want cheap?). I was very please with the work performed and with the price. I would definately use this company again. The gladly accepted the Angie's List coupon that I presented.

After looking at the List and on recommendation of our plumber, we called "Water Heaters Only". The phone staff were excellent and answered all o our questions, even pausing to ask if we had more, We arranged for installation the next day. The service tech arrived on time, went over the proposed work and pricing and even waited patiently as we read all the fine print on the contract! He then went ahead with the installation. He kept us informed of progress and showed us that he was doing. He cleaned up afterwards and left the area cleaner than when he came. The end result is a water heather that is working well. We recommend this company to anyone needing a water heater.

Tony explained exactly what he was going to do regarding connections, etc. Put cardboard down to keep the carpet clean. Hauled away the old water heater and showed me how to operate the controls on the new one.

Showed up on time, worked clean, brought everything up to code, new lines and valves. Good experience.

Used Angie's List and Yelp to select Water Heaters Only. I still had hot water, so it wasn't an emergency situation. Called at 3pm on Wed and they scheduled to come between 12pm-4pm the next day. Called me at 10am the day of the appointment and asked if they could come by earlier. The installer, Joe came by within the 30 minute window they gave me. He was very courteous and professional. Gave me a written estimate first. It ended up that the water heater needed to be replaced. I didn't call around to do any price comparisons, so that is why I rated them a B on price. The one thing I didn't understand is they only quote the whole job, so they do not tell you how much you are paying for the water heater versus the labor. But Joe seemed very knowledgeable. I have an older home, so he upgraded a lot of the connections and cleaned out the outside storage cabinet. He had the whole job done in about an hour and a half and carted off the old water heater and cleaned up the work area very nicely. He also gave me no hassles about accepting the $55 off coupon through Angie's List. I do think their prices are reasonable. The water heater they put in is a Bradford White and when I priced checked the exact model, it was very expensive to purchase online (approx. $1,000 just for the water heater). So it definitely seems like I got a higher quality heater for less with the installation all included. Just not sure with the affordable natural gas models out there right now if going that high end was really necessary. Time will tell. But all in all a great experience and I would highly recommend them to others.

They arrived right on time, and finished the job in two hours, exactly as quoted. The installer, Fabio, knew exactly what to do, and worked very efficiently. He removed the old water heater, installed the new one, and hauled the old water heater away. Very good service, definitely recommend if you need a water heater.

Our water heater had not crashed yet, but was likely going to soon, so we were not in a panic. I had no idea who to call for a plumber, if you don't have a regular one, you're playing roulette. I saw Water Heaters Only's write up on Angieslist, and saw they came highly recommended, so I gave them a call. I'm glad I did. Ron showed up in the time window given. He was very professional. Told us exactly what would be done, and how it would be done. It took a couple hours to complete, but he installed newer/better bracing that what the old one had. He also took a look at our house's water pressure, and found that it was higher than it should, so he showed me how to adjust it. I got several business cards from him, and I will pass them out to anyone who needs a new water heater.

Bravo!! I wish all contractors were this terrific! My old water heater needed to be replaced. I called Water Heaters Only and 3.5 hours later I had a new hot water heater installed. The price was fair, they used high quality materials (copper!) and the work was impeccable. Tony was fantastic!! He was very professional, explained everything he was doing and the quality of the work he did was amazing. I'm so happy. Thank you so much!

While the person I initially spoke to on the phone was mostly helpful (he was new, so I'll cut him some slack) he had someone out to give me an estimate in less than one hour!! Tony, the tech that showed up for the estimate was unable to write one because apparently "Water Heaters Only" really means: Water Heaters Only. While very professional and understanding of my complicated situation, Tony informed me that Water Heaters Only wouldn't be able to install the venting system required for our property - but if I had a contractor come out and install the vent system, Water Heaters Only would then be able to install a water heater. This isn't the solution I was looking for and therefornot going to work for me, but I would be happy to call upon this company in the future if I think they'll be able to help with what I need!

Called 8th Oct 2010, spoke to Bill, who was helpful and knowledgeable, and gave an approximate estimate of $1150 for 50 gall 10 yr warranty tank. Arranged for technician Tony to come round the following day to give precise estimate. Tony arrived on time and we ended up with an estimate $200 higher as some rusted pipes needed replacement. I did get a quote from Home Depot that was fairly similar but decided to go with WHO as both Bill and Tony seemed very professional, and I also preferred the US made Bradford White heater from WHO to the Mexican made Rheem from Home Depot Installation was on Oct 14th. Again Tony arrived on time, and the whole job was done very neatly and with no mess and only took a couple of hours. Five months later everything is working fine. They did a great job.
