I was out of town, and the water heater in a rental unit broke. It was a problem with pilot lite. but because the tenant released some water into the pan, he said that the tank was broken and didn't do anything. I would like my money back because they didn't do anything.

On time, service call didn't take to long to perform and showed up within one day.

Over the top excellent service, price (their $79 repair special) and performance. I had called a place I have used in the past for cleanouts (and was pleased with) and the phone answering service said "Oh, a ten year old water heater has to be replaced". Ok, time to go see Angie's list! Don, who came out was prompt, polite equipped and knew what to do. I told him I thought it was a T-Couple and he confirmed it in about a minute. An AO Smith unit that is a little clumsey on the inside but he had it done quickly and buttoned up at the special price and we are up and running. I certainly would use them again, but I expect that the next time it will be a replacement unit. Water Heaters is all they do so they know their business.

I called Water Heaters Only based on the reviews. They set up an appointment for the next day. Fabian came out as scheduled and gave me a precise written estimate. We set an appointment to have the installation done the following day. Fabian came out as scheduled. He did the full installation within a few hours. He removed and took away the old heater and all old parts leaving the area absolutely clean. I asked for a lot and got it. I could not have asked for better service. They just did it right in every way.

I called "Water Heaters Only" after buying the $150 discount coupon from Angies List and Thomas arrived the next day promptly with my New water heater. The weather was steady rain and yet he completed the job in just a few hours. It was obvious that he knew his trade by the professional manner in which he installed the heater. He was like the old school craftsman and I can't say enough about his work ethic. If your lucky enough to get him on an installation don't be fooled by his appearance because he wears his hair a little long. I felt the price was fair based on my research of current prices. I would definitely recommend Water Heaters Only!

My existing 40-gallon water heater, nearly 20 years old, failed. The tank was leaking slow, wetting the floor in laundry room/storage area. A neighbor had used Water Heaters Only and recommended the company. In addition, I was impressed by the comments and grades left at angieslist.com. I called to arrange for a free estimate. My first contact with the company was by phone on 20 December. I spoke with Bill who arranged for an appointment the following day--at a time convenient for me. The Technician Fabian arrived during the time Bill said he would. Fabian called when he was a few minutes away. Fabian provided me information about the products offered by Water Heaters Only. He also offered to check on a water heater in which I was interested. Bright and early the following morning (Monday, 22 December), David called with the information I had sought. We agreed on a water heater, and David made an installation appointment for later, between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. Technician Tony called when he was a few minutes away. Tony inspected the old water heater, explained what he would be doing, indicated the amount of time he would require to complete the job, and prepared the requisite paperwork. Once my signature was in place on the work order, he began, first wanting to know where best to discharge the water from the existing tank. Tony worked quickly and neatly. When he'd finished, including hauling the old water heater to his van, he explained the water heater's operation, provided me an overview of the warranty, and left the the work area spotless. The final price included a $150-for-$300 coupon available through Angie's List. This was another A-plus Angie's List experience thanks to everyone at Water Haters Only, Inc.

Mike came out to install a tankless water heater. He was a nice guy, very courteous and even gave us a few tips with the tankless. Got the job done in about 4 hours and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Overall, satisfied with the installation.

When I called back to cancel my appointment with Dave, he was really happy to hear that I got my problem solved. (also, someone answered the phone right away, both times I called, got a live person, that is rare) I would definitely suggest this company to anyone, even though I didn't get any service from them. They saved me money and also great customer service by being responsive. Thank you!

Ron G. from Water Heaters Only was great. He came by and gave us a quote the same day we called. We got two other quotes and the quote Ron G. gave us was still the best by a good margin on all the work that needed to be completed. Ron G. came back to installed the new water heater a week later and he did a great job. He answer every question we asked of him honestly and professionally. He constantly made sure we were happy with the installation process as it was progressing. Ron does quality work and is a h*** of a good guy too. Very down to earth and friendly as heck. We will use Water Heaters Only again without hesitation.

I called my home warranty company after my water heater broke, flooding my garage. They sent water heaters only to fix the problem. Even though it was late in the evening, I got a call right away to schedule a time. Thomas came to my home the next day, figured out the problem, and replaced the water heater in half the time it usually takes. They worked well and quickly with my warranty company, and everything went smoothly. Things could not have gone better. I was lucky that my warranty company chose them to handle the job.

I was in immediate need of service and reached out to the company to schedule an appointment as soon as I had confirmation that the order was processed through Angie's List. The company promptly replied via email to call them and when I did, I was told they would call me back when they could confirm the order. Four days later, I still have not heard from them.

Our hot water stopped functional yesterday. Called waterheatersonly around 10:30AM today and the technician (Mike Cohen) showed up within 2 hours. Mike did the job very professionally and quickly solved the problem. He also gave us good suggestions and recommendations. Overall it's a pleasant experience and we would like to use waterheatersonly again next time. Update: I would like to change my previous comment. The hot water stopped working again after one week. Called the company again and this time the company said the water heater is broken and need to replace a new one. At that time I trusted that opinion and let the worker come to replace the water heater. Unfortunately(or maybe fortunately), my water heater is under the kitchen counter so it is very hard to replace the water heater without extra work. Long story short, I didn't replace the water heater. Called another company and fixed the issue. The root cause was the replaced elements have higher wattage than what shows on water heater label. I'm very disappointed about the service and would not recommend to use this provider in the future. .

David was the technician. Was right on time and had many years of experience so I felt confident he wouldn't miss a thing. And he didn't. Installation was fast and explained to me in detail. I would recommend this company.

The technician (Tony) arrived within the time window given by customer service the day before. He had called about 30 minutes before his arrival. He removed the 15 year old water heater that had been leaking and installed the new one in about 90 minutes. He then spent a couple of minutes going over the water heater's controls. They were very similar to the controls on the old water heater, but I appreciate him taking the time. Tony was friendly and professional. I am very satisfied with the service provided by Water Heaters Only.

I had the person from Water Heaters Only come out on Tuesday, 11/18/14, to give me a bid to replace my two 40-gal. water heaters. It was a very fair price and he even helped me get the $150 credit through Angie's List. I then said I'd like them to come out the next day and we scheduled a time between 10am and noon for the installer to come out. That next morning, the installer, Tony, called in the morning to say when he would be arriving...and he arrived at the time he said. He was very friendly, knowlegeable and professional with the installation, answered all my questions and left the area totally clean. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Water Heaters Only in general and Tony in particular.

Ron G. was the installer. He showed up within the window given, inspected the site and gave me a price - and that's what I paid, no hidden or added costs. He re-routed the existing copper pipe and added a shutoff valve for easier service in the future and explained everything as he was going along. Overall great experience, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a water heater.

I contacted Water Heaters Only to find out information about what to do about a malfunctioning water heater for the back unit of my elderly father's house. The pilot light would not stay lit. Uncertain whether it was a small repair or something else, I spoke to Dave, who was very helpful and said they would be able to send someone out to do an estimate for repair and also cautioned me that due to the age of the heater (11 years and near the end of its expected life), it might make more sense to replace it rather than fix it at significant expense ($300-$400) now and then have to replace in in another year or so. Their technician, Tony, showed up promptly at the top end of the 3 hour window we were given. He found a broken gas valve in addition to the other issues, and we decided to replace the heater rather than fix it. The service was completed that day, a new 40 gallon tank was installed, and there is now hot water where there wasn't any. I am very happy with the calm, no-pressure advice and the rapid response and service.

They were wonderful. I called them on Saturday and they came out on Sunday. They saved me money. They were honest with me. There was one gentleman who put the new water heater in. They were great at problem solving and were really helpful. They knew exactly what I needed without having to come and look at it.

I woke up to cold water in the shower instead of hot, never a good start to the day. Checked out the water heater and it hadn't failed but the pilot light wouldn't come back on after repeated attempts to relight. Went to work (with a cold shower) and these guys came out the next morning. I was afraid they'd say the water heater needed to be replaced since they'd obviously make more money. Pleasantly surprised that they suspected the thermocouple was the issue and had a replacement on the truck. Within short order, part was replaced and water heater was getting hot again. It's been a month and no issues.

Scheduling for the estimate and replacement of my tank less water heater was very efficient. Mike, the technician, did a great job of explaining my options, making a recommendation, and installing the product.

Mike arrived later than Dave (the manager) had scheduled with me. Did well overall, but I was surprised that he did not have the isolation valve kit with him and needed to go to a local plumbing supply store (Fergusons) to get it. After the job was done, Mike showed me how I can flush the system myself every year or so.

I had called another company (well reviewed here on AL as well) that had come out, measured the closet it was housed in, and told me the opening was too narrow for the ones he had and I would have to shop for a smaller diameter water heater on my own for them to install He left within 10 minute of arriving. A bit disgruntled, I did some online shopping and learned a good deal in so doing. In my initial research for installers I had Water Heaters Only on my short list so I called them, told them the parameters of my situation and that afternoon, Neil arrived. He explained to me in layman's terms what needed to be done, what he would need, how much it was estimated to cost and that he could do it right now. I agreed and when he came back in with the needed paperwork & exact cost (within $5 of his estimate). About 3 hours later, I had the new one installed, up and running. Neil was polite, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable of what he was doing. But one thing that stuck out in my mind during his time installing the unit was that I asked him about other plumbing issues particular to my home. He shared what he knew in great detail but when I asked a question he could not answer, he simply said, "I don't know. You need to ask someone who specializes in that." No bull or double talk, just a straight and very honest answer. So aside from the product and the efficiency of installation, his honesty instilled an even better sense of trust that I had called the right people for this job.
