We had our water heater replaced. We got same day service; they arrived when they said they would and did a great job. We may have been able to beat the price if we looked around, but the promptness and quality of the service were worth a little extra to us.

Dave removed, replaced, and hauled away the old water heater in less than two hours. Installation of the new water heater looks great!

I got the $29 Angie list coupon for an evaluation. Dave arrived Sunday morning on time. He reviewed the problem and advised me that his company would not be able to do the work. It was a complicated job because it involved the furnace and the water heater. Dave give me great advice on what steps I needed to take. I first had to get a furnace guy out to my house because the venting was all screwed up due to the fact the water heater was crammed right next to the furnace. He also educated me on the differences between a tank less water heater and a tanked heater. This information was very helpful. After the furnace venting problem is fixed I then need to get a plumber to work on the water heater issue. I have gotten a couple estimated from other plumbers and I asked Dave about their pricing. He give me an honest opinion what was fair pricing for the job. I appreciated all the advice Dave gave me. It was well worth the $29.

I called Water Heaters Only on a Friday and they were there the next day to replace my broken water heater. My technician, Mike, called an hour before his arrival and was right on time. The service was quick and easy and Mike was very professional. Overall, a great experience.

No one every likes calling a water heater company especially when you have a leaking water heater. David Pullen arrived on time, discussed options and did not pressure me to buy. David then quickly replaced the water heater, explained maintenance items and cleaned up the area before he left. Thank you.

My 18yr old water heater broke on a Sunday morning and started leaking into the ground (an outside unit). I called Water Heaters Only and they came out a few hours later (this is on Easter Sunday). Nice prompt service. They gave me a quote for replacing the tank but also offered a deal on a tankless unit. Wanting to upgrade things where possible, I went with the tankless unit. They came back out a couple days later and did the installation, while I was at work. He was wrapping things up when I got home that evening. Tested the hot water, all seemed fine. He also hauled away the old tank unit. The next morning I heard some leaking in the crawl space under the house from the new plumbing. I turned the water off and called them again - they came out that afternoon and patched things up. Overall, nice, friendly and punctual service. Am only giving a B for quality for the leak.

Water Heaters Only called right away to schedule a diagnostic review. Mark came out the next day and was very honest in his analysis of the options. I opted to go with a new water heater installation. I was impressed with Mark and asked that he be assigned to do the installation. The installation was scheduled for the next day and it went just as scheduled. Mark was early and completed the job just as he said he would at the price he said he would. We have not had any problems since. I would definitely recommend Water Heaters Only!

Water Heaters Only sold me a low-quality water heater and overcharged me for their service. QUALITY: The average lifespan of a water heater is about 10 to 12 years, so it was disappointing to find out later that that the model they installed seems to last only half that long for a lot of people giving reviews. The average rating on Amazon is 2 out of 5 stars and there are numerous complaints of early failure and leakage. http://www.amazon.com/Bradford-White-MI5036FBN-337-Gallon-Natural/dp/B001SQ0HQC They did not present me with any other alternatives to the Bradford water heater they installed, or the choice in warranty (6 years), and I am worried that they installed a piece of junk in my home that will require a costly replacement in the very near future. PRICE: In addition, the price for the water heater is $594 retail (inclusive of shipping) but Water Heaters Only charged me $839 for it. I'm assuming they get their materials wholesale or with a contractor's discount, so the 40% up charge is unreasonable. For that price I could have gotten a well-built, well-rated water heater with a 12 year warranty. When I first called the company they told me that the job would be $1000 to $1100 and that I could use the Angie's List Deal on top ($150 for $300), which would effectively knock the price down to $850-$950 total. Another highly rated plumber on AL told me it would cost $950 to $1000 to do the job (he was unfortunately unavailable to come out) so I figured the price was fair once you factored in the Deal. When the tech arrived, the work order was already 90% completed sight unseen (which seemed suspicious, a sentiment echoed by several other Angie's List members) and the price had inexplicably jumped to $1239. After using the Angie's List deal, the total I paid was $1089, which is $139 - $239 over what they initially quoted me. Within that price was a whopping $400 in labor for a job that took roughly 1 hour and inflating the cost of the heater 40%. I have expressed these concerns with the company and am waiting on a call back from their head office. SERVICE: On the plus side, the company came out within a few hours of my call. The installer Tony was courteous and everything looks good so far with the install. The work was done "to code".

Called my former tankless water heater installer and he said it would cost $5000 to replace the water heater. Found Water Heaters Only on Angie's List and Yelp. Checked out Contractor's license etc . Called Dave who had Fabian come out, give me an estimate of $2400 - I said let's do it. Dave and I discussed my water heater options - no sales double-speak. I selected another tankless. He told me about on-line coupon, waited on-the-phone until I got it - gave me a $300 discount. Fabian came out within a day - modified the piping and installed whatever else I needed - installed the water heater - tested it - cleaned up - took the old one away. I was ecstatic with such great service. I liked the price but the service was what sold me!!!! They will be my only water heater installers from now on! You can't get better service!

Very competent and personable employee. Explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. Answered all my typical questions. Cleaned up the whole area before he left.

I called them with a few questions, which they answered to my satisfaction and I scheduled them for the next day to replace my water heater. everything went smoothly. Mike was my tech/plumber and he was great. The only thing that was curious was the price point was told to me on the spot after Mike wrote up his notes containing type of water heater and various parts needed for California compliance and job completion. I'm used to seeing parts and labor spelled out in detail on an invoice along with price points for each. Now the price was fair only because I did my homework and contacted Sears, Home Depot and Lowes and I know at the end of the day I saved a few dollars and feel confident that the Defender Atmospheric vent model by Bradford White is a solid USA made water heater. So overall a little unorthodox for me but everyone was professional and nice.

Ron was very professional. He explained what he was going to do before starting and was quite clear that if we had any questions about what he was doing, he would stop and explain, that he did not mind interruptions to make sure we were satisfied. Job was completed quickly, work area was kept neat and cleaned up nicely at end. Once complete, Ron provided recommended operating and maintenance guidance. He also made sure our existing hot water recirculating pump was re installed and functioning. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend this company for future work.

First of all I had to go to the library to find this company & purchase their offer of $300 worth of work for $150 on Angie's list because the work was to be done at my mother's house & she does not have a computer. If I had not done this I would have sent the guy away when he told me that it was going to cost over $1,100 to replace the water heater. I had my own water heater (same size) replaced by another company last year for $800. At that point I figured I was stuck with them & had the guy install the water heater. On the plus side he did arrive in less than an hour & had the new water heater in the truck so repairs were done quickly. I am just not happy about the price.

It worked out fine. He came on time, and did the work. He was very courteous and informative, but he did not have the water heater on his truck that would have gotten me a rebate from my water company. I proceeded with the lower lever model because I really needed to have my hot water back.

This company's professionalism is outstanding! Long story short, I had been dealing with my insurance company's contract plumber for 4 days with no resolution in sight. On the fourth day, I was so fed up with the insurance company's plumbing company that I decided to cash out and find my own plumbing company. After researching online, I decided to contact Water Heaters Only. I called the night before and Dave showed up the next morning at 9:00am to replace the water heater. The price was good but their service was outstanding! After my experience with the other company, you can clearly see the difference in service quality. I am so glad I decided to go Water Heaters Only, as they will go above and beyond to help!

I spoke to several companies, including the manufacturer, but Water Heaters Only was the only company that put me through to a knowledgeable person who helped me diagnose the problem. They offered the best price to come out and take a look. When I solved my problem without their coming, I was quickly reimbursed the $79 deal I had bought. All in all a great experience.

These guys are great. When you call them, the phone is promptly answered by a knowledgeable person. It is really easy to schedule a time for a technician to come by. They even gave me an initial estimate over the phone. In my initial in-person meeting, they called me during the time window indicating that they would be late by about an hour due to a previous job. They asked to reschedule, but I had no issue waiting. The technician showed up within the hour, apologized, and promptly gave me a quote. The quote was approximately $100 over the initial estimate. I was somewhat expecting this because I have had past plumbers indicate that the existing install needed a little help to be brought up to code. The quote was very competitive with other quotes that I received. Also, the technician was very knowledgeable. Scheduling the actual install was very straightforward (it probably could have been done the same day as the quote, but it was already late in the day). The installation itself went great. The job was done promptly, and everything looked very good. Within an hour after the install, I had running hot water.

I placed order online for their coupon special SUNDAY morning (actual paid price was less than quoted $979 using coupon). Spoke to Dave on the phone. They were able to come out same afternoon with parts ready to replace. You can't get better responsiveness than that. Ron was the installer that came onsite. He looked things over and provided an estimate. Once I approved, he began work. He removed old heater, put in new fittings, earthquake strap, piping, etc. I was very impressed with Ron's attention to detail and the quality of work. Both Dave and Ron know their stuff. If you have a busted water heater, I highly recommend giving these guys a call.

Their rep was on time, friendly, and very professional. I had no hot water and expected out of town guests that evening! Not only were they available on a Sunday, they were able to come out within 2 hours! New water heater installed within an hour of their arrival and they took my old junk heater away! They also gave me a discount for being an Angie's list member! Highly recommend!
