This morning about 7:00 am we discovered we had some sort of pipe leak in the backyard. Mike was there by 9:30 am and had us all fixed up by 10:00 am!

They were fine and I thought they were good. I would use them again.

After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I called Foothill Plumping because the water in the pipes leading out of the kitchen sink was backing up. I called at 9:30 A.M. and the nice lady on the phone said someone could be there between 2 and 4:00 P.M. I told them I had an appointment during that time and we would have to make it tomorrow. She asked me to hold one minute and got back to me right away and said they would come between 11 and 1:00 P.M. I was SO IMPRESSED with how accommodating they were, Michael came promptly at 11:30 and spent an hour cleaning the drain pipes under the house - he had to use a 75 ft. rooter. Anyway, he was so professional, personable and gave me tips on other plumbing issues that had nothing to do with the work he was doing. I was so appreciative of all the information and recommendations that would avoid future problems in other areas too. I would highly recommend Foothill as your trusted plumbing company!

I called earlier in the day to setup an appointment. Turned out I wasn't sure if I would be home in time for the call time. So I ended up rescheduling for after hours. Mike sensed the urgency in my voice as when I broke a sprinkler pipe trying to replace something myself, I had to shut off the water main to the house. He was able to give me a good ballpark estimate over the phone. What I really liked was that he tried to describe what the valve looked like in easy to use terms just to make the situation even more clear for him. Calling the particular valve adapter that I needed either fixed or replaced a UFO looking thing was smart. The valve does look like a UFO. He came out right about on the dot when he said he would after normal business hours. He described what he was going to do and why I should replace the brass valve instead of repairing the piece. Made plenty of sense to me. Mike didn't mind me watching as I was curious what I did wrong when trying to do this myself. He was very easy going and did the job pretty fast in the dark using his flashlight. Woke up this morning and no leaks with the replacement. Also now that the valve isn't leaking, no leaks from the sprinkler system. I think the pricing was fair as his ballpark number before paying for after hours was better than what I was getting quoted from landscaping companies. In fact the overtime price was just a little more than the competition during normal hours. As he walked around he gave his opinions on some previous work we had done on our water heater. He also mentioned what we could have installed so if another valve was to leak or break we wouldn't have to shut off the main water to the house. Definitely would use Foothill Plumbing again and most likely will have some of the work done that he mentioned.

The installation was performed cleanly - solder joints etc are very crisply done, as well as the surrounding area clean when he left). Professional level workmanship here, not just handy-man-level stuff! I found Mike to be knowledgeable, honest and skilled contractor (not a common combination!), and I believe he puts forth a top-notch effort for keeping the cost down. (Cost had been a big concern of mine!) Several different options were explained ahead of time (size of tank, tank warranty period, drain pan etc), as well as some of those respective cost differences. At no point did I feel like Mike was attempting to convince me to select more expensive options, or other unnecessary work items or up-sell me more expensive parts etc. My friends/family continuously tell me I am too picky about customer service, or products or workmanship etc. As such - I will mention that there was a slight hiccup in the beginning of the repair process where there had been a miscommunication about the exact scheduling of the estimate for work. The inspection/estimate actually occurred a day later after I called again. I called again because the commentary on Angie's list seemed so compelling and positive. I am very glad I did! I rate them with an "A" for responsiveness and punctuality despite that initial miscommunication because after that initial estimate - all communication was EXCELLENT (and numerous - with progress updates etc). So far, one week after the work was performed, no issues have been encountered with the new unit and I certainly have no reason to expect any for many years. Foothill Plumbing is at the top of my list for future plumbing needs!

The plumber ran the rotor through the sewer clean-out to clear a blocked sewer line. He charged me a reasonable price, had he actually cleaned the drain. He didn't, however, and I had to have another company come and complete the job, for much more.

My parents live about 30 miles away so I did not have very much to do with them but the guy who went over there called me just before he got there. Then he did the work, called me back to tell me what was wrong and gave me some very detailed information about it. They also needed some other work that needed to be done and gave me a price but, at first, I thought it was too high. Then he looked at it again and told me it would be less than the originally thought so I told him to go ahead and do it. Then he called me back telling me it was fixed and that my parents should not have any more problems. They came back quickly to do the second job.

I called Foothill Plumbing because we had major sewage coming back into the house anytime we used water (shower, dishes, etc). We tried snaking the pipes ourselves a number of times, but it wasn't helping, so we decided to call Foothill. They arrived promptly and had all the necessary equipment to diagnose the problem. They took the time to explain what the problem was, why we had it, and let us know our options. They were very clear about how much it would cost depending on the option, and let us know the benefits and risks of each option. Once we decided to move forward to correct the problem, they arrived exactly when they said they would and did a superior quality job. They worked as quickly as they could, being very aware that we couldn't use water while they were working. They cleaned up after themselves extremely well. The actual charge came in below the estimate--which is always difficult for a service that I am so unfamiliar with. These guys have my loyalty for life.

Mike was recommended by a friend of the family. My phone calls were either answered directly by Mike or by a very nice lady in the office. One of his technicians completed the sprinkler repairs and Mike completed the toilet repairs and the drain cleaning. They were always punctual, courteous, professional and always left the work area clean. Their fees are reasonable and fair. I highly recommend Mike and his team for your plumbing needs.

Service Techs were first-rate and courteous. However due to the age of the house the job took longer than the owner, Mike Lonsdale, expected. Before the job was complete he pulled the crew to work on another project. The job is still incomplete, although the main functions in the house have been restored. Though I am very satisfied with work done by the techs I was disappointed with the fact that they were not able to complete the job themselves. Some of the other work (bathtub, dishwasher) was later completed by the owner after having to followup with him. Two things that was not completed to my satisfaction is 1) an outlet by the garage was not re-connected. Mike claims fixing that was not in the agreement. Though it was discussed many times, sadly (for me0 it was not in the written quote - lesson learned. 2) connection to the sprinkler system. The backyard part of the system is currently attached from a hose bib - with a short piece of hose - to the sprinkler system. Again, something that would seem logical to complete, but was not written in the agreement. There was discussion about working on the sprinkler system during the job, but I have reservations about moving forward with him. Not because of the quality of the work, but will I miss something that should have been in the agreement and (for lack of experience) have it come back to financially haunt me? Still work to be done: a cleanup of all old pipes and dismantling of a couple of fixtures in the garage. It's been me that had to follow through trying to get a date. In his defense I have yet to settle on an acceptable date. if you plan to use Foothill Plumbing make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing. Once there, if they offer to take care of something that's not on the contract,make sure to verify a cost. In hindsight, I felt I put too much good faith on our verbal agreement.

I LOVE and TRUST Foothill Plumbing! They are AT ALL TIMES: knowledgeable, professional, fast and efficient and their fees are very, very reasonably! I cannot recommend Mike and his plumbers more strongly! I have Foothill Plumbing's business card taped to the inside of my kitchen cupboard--just in case of any need or any of our neighbors ask for a recommendation. These guys are Great! Great! Great!

The entire transaction was wonderful. They were on time, very pleasant and did a great job. They didn't try to "upsale" a bunch of services. My husband had been very ill and my plate was full, so the fact that they came and did a terrific job was very much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and would definitely recommend them!

I called Foothill on a late Saturday morning. Mike answered and was able to give me a service window between 2 - 4. Around 3:30 Mike gave me a call explaining he'll be an hour late. True to his word, he took a break from a nightmare job, showed up at the updated time he gave, fixed our sink in 5 minutes and raced back to the nightmare job. To top it all off he gave us a discounted weekend rate for being late without us asking!I really appreciated that Mike took the time to actually call and explain why he's was running late. The little things go a long way.Thank you Mike!

They're very reliable and cost-conscious. All the guys who work there are nice and quick. They do a great job.

I called Foothill Plumbing after hearing how good their services were. Mike came out on time and looked at what I wanted. He then gave me a couple of options on placement and price. I agreed and asked if he had time to the job right now. He worked fast and professional. All soder joints looked beautiful. He cleaned the area like he was never there. Great job!!

Foothill plumbing called back promptly and gave a verbal estimate over the phone. They came out in a very timely manner and snaked the line. They were quick and nice and stayed to the original estimate. Everything was fixed. I will definitely use Foothill Plumbing again.

Mike gave us several options for an upgrade with various price breakdowns. They fixed the immediate problem the 1st day so we could have water. They worked quickly and made sure all our questions were answered and all problems addressed. They went out of their way to fix any additional problems that came along. They kept a clean work site and were prompt and courteous. The patch job was seamless. They passed the inspection with flying colors. They made sure we had running water at the end of every work day. I highly reccomend Foothill Plumbing and would not hesitate to use them again.
