Description of Work: FOR VARIOUS PERSONAL REASONS, THIS PROJECT IS STILL IN THE PLANNING STAGE. |HOWEVER, IN MY OPINION THE ENTIRE PROJECT WILL GO WITHOUT A SNAG ONCE IT BEGINS BECAUSE VERITY HAS BEEN THE ESSENCE OF WHAT ONE HOPES FOR BUT RARELY ACHIEVES WHEN PLANNING A PROJECT.

Description of Work: We were going to remodel bathroom, but we learned just before starting we were moving. We are keeping our home and will remodel when we return and will use verity.

Description of Work: Verity remodeled two bathrooms at the same time for us. Always on time. Working communication was excellent and we really appreciated how they managed the project and provided the costs to us for any changes requested by us. No surprises. We highly recommend Verity.

Description of Work: They made my dream historic bathroom a reality. Torn out everything and put back together with claw tub and all the accessories.

Description of Work: Although I selected another contractor to do the work, Ted Schulman was very courteous and helpful. He made a drawing for the master bath that we were looking at remodeling, and that helped in visualizing the work better. He also provided a very detailed proposal that included the estimated pricing for things that were not included in his pricing, and he personally explained the proposal face to face. We ended up with another contractor since Verity's price was higher. Ted mentioned that they probably are higher than some. All in all, I think Verity would be able to provide a proposal in a professional way and I would recommend them as one company to consider.

Description of Work: Contacted Ted to quote my kitchen and bath project. He informed me that he doesn't do kitchens, but he'd be happy to check out my bath project. I let him know upfront that I'm most likely going to go with a contractor that could do both at the same time, and he was still willing to come check it out and give me some ideas. After meeting him and getting some great ideas, I was truly sorry not to be able to use his services. Seemed to understand clearly what I wanted to do, provided great ideas (several of which I have implemented) and was very responsive when I contacted him recently when asking for the tub he recommended.

Description of Work: Verity designed a master bathroom remodel from oversaw the project from start to finish including demolition, carpentry, construction, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile and all finish work. The project itself was pretty much in the time frame originally estimated- taking about 5 weeks.

Description of Work: - Completely remodeled TWO upstairs bathrooms - guest & master, - AND converted upstairs hall closet to stacked washer/dryer unit.

Description of Work: Demo 2 walls, the old shower and floor. Frame the new area, shower, shower bench, new higher ceiling and pocket door. Construct a new shower pan. Description of Work: We totally remodelled 2 bathrooms. My daughter's bathroom was an extensive project involving wall demolition, conversion of tub to shower and eliminating 2 sinks down to one oversized version. In additon, a powder room was updated with new cabinetry, granite and tile flooring. What was most impressive other than the finished products, was that Ted and Tony were there guiding me every step of the way. Therefore, they were a tremendous value for the extensive "above and beyond" services provided.

Description of Work: Verity performed kitchen cabinet refacing in September 2010, and installed new doors in the kitchen exactly as agreed upon and in a much shorter time frame than we had originally planned. Currrently Verity is remodeling our master bath after doing the design work--this project will continue for two or three weeks. New ceramic floor, new vanity-cabinet area, all new fixtures and required electrical. New shower area and they are adding a new space to install a soaking tub; they are also installing a new toilet, all new tile work, na new window, new drywall and ceiling, new drains and pipes. Work is proceeding exactly as planned. Jan 19, 2011 Update, Bath Remodel Complete Tony and Ted and their subcontractors completed our bath remodel over a month ago, in time for us to enjoy Christmas in our home with our new bath and we have had time to get settled in now. We are not only satisfied but thrilled with the results. The custom tile work, custom cabinetry, and overall finish is of the highest quality. The finely executed fit and finishes give a very luxurious feel to the bath area. In fact, we have had some major remodeling done by other companies in the past, but I have never had fewer change orders in a remodeling process. In fact, we had only about two change orders for some very necessary work. We discovered completely rotten main drains (certainly explained our many calls for plumbers in the last three years) and some rather dangerous old wiring. Each change order was carefully explained and fairly negotiated, and the work was performed exactly as promised. All the new fixtures and elements work as intended, and the design will hold its on long into the future. I had been concerned about not including a medicine cabinet into the design, and about losing a storage space we had in a wall cabinet for linens, but Ted designed a new sink and cabinet area that includes shelves and pull out drawers in both a vanity cabinet and and in a taller linen cabinet on the side, and both are working out well. My wife had always wanted a tube, but not a combined tub-shower, so we are particularly pleased that Ted at Verity was able to design a bath fitting both a soaking tub and sperate shower into the same small space that had once had only a shower and linen cabinet. They also raised the ceiling. As it turns out, our 60s era house had had previous remodels resulting in lowered the ceilings--probably to accommodate the then fashionable light boxes with florescent lights. Having that ceiling taken back up to its original height really has made a beautiful difference. The resulting shower and tub area is very modern but also very practical. I particularly like the thought that went into the little things, for example, pistons in the cabinets and drawers that pull them all the way shut--thus solving the perennial problem of people leaving drawers and cabinet doors half open. I also enjoy having more water pressure in the bath and shower as Verity increased the pipe size coming from the main, and new shower valves that compensate for water pressure changes. I no longer freeze to death in the shower when someone turns on a water tap in another part of the house. Ted and Tony closely monitored every aspect of the project to ensure that the rough carpentry, the electrical, the plumbing, the tile, the dry wall and painting were done to their high standards.

Description of Work: Verity Baths helped us design a full remodel on our master bathroom. This included a lot of guidance and hand holding in picking out materials and deciding upon the general look of the room. They then did a full demolition of the old bathroom, built a custom shower, custom vanity, put in new flooring, shower/wall tiles, lighting, ventilation, and a window. They had to shift over a lot of the plumbing and electrical system to get everything to fit properly, and they added a lot of little touches to make the bathroom look truly "finished."

Description of Work: Ted came and spent a good deal of time going through our remodel ideas in great detail. We are updating two bathrooms, a hallway and a kitchen, in a condominium unit. He made several important suggestions that I would not have necessarily thought of myself. It was apparent that Ted was very experienced and once I finally decide on materials and design would feel totally comfortable having him do the work. The bid was not the lowest that we received, but was well within the range of other bids we have received, and was totally reasonable.

Description of Work: Complete remodel of our Master bath except for the cabinet. Ted, Tony and their resources created a spa feeling in our bathroom with natural stone used for the shower, the floor and the deck around the bath tub. The tile work is really perfect. Next, they added a natural cedar ceiling that looks fantastic. They gave us great design guidance in picking materials such as vassal sinks and a quartz counter top. These items are contemporary and great quality, but still reasonably priced. They perfectly compliment the natural stone and cedar we had already chosen. In addition, as a special touch, Ted installed fantastic mood lighting under the cabinets that make a great night light or lighting for a soothing bath. The entire team was always on time, and if you don't mind, they are willing to work late to finish the job within the time frame promised. I really don't have any "don'ts". The only "Do" I have is to say DO trust them. The entire team gave us really good advice and direction and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Lastly, everyone was very professional and respectful of our home and made sure they left a clean work area everyday.

Description of Work: Replaced cracked, old bathroom liner with beautiful new liner. Repaired wall where shower was leaking into wall. Repaired hole under sink. Installed glass shower doors (previously had shower curtain). Patched and painted bathroom walls. Installed new carport cover, bedroom door and laundry door.

Description of Work: Wall removal. Full demo of existing bathroom. All new floor & wall tile. New custom vanity and counter top. New wall and doors. Lighting, soaking tub and overhead shower. And best of all specially designed folding glass shower door.
