Right Way Lighting

I don't normally take the time to write a review, however, I am taking my time to review this company and the service they have provided as we have received an excellent service. Carlos and his associate showed up on time as scheduled. First thing they did was they made sure that no dust gets in the other parts of the house not being worked on by covering the areas with plastic barrier. They even placed a plastic covering outside of the house! I did not expect that. Carlos said he does not want to leave any evidence :). I'm very impressed! Carlos made sure to tell me what he was going to do and obtained my permission first before he proceeded. His original plan was to place the 4 lights closer to the edges of the tray ceiling but because the ceiling did not allow that to happen, he suggested the option of placing the lighting more inwards or put framing and enclose the whole thing so he can spread out the lighting. I chose the 1st option as I wanted the illusion of a higher ceiling. Placing the lighting more inwards actually worked better for our kitchen due to its layout and size. Once Carlos removed the plastic covering and revealed the finished work, I was very happy and very satisfied. No more old, unsightly tray ceiling with old plastic covering and oak frame. It made the kitchen looked better, roomier, more modern, and much more pleasing to the eyes. We also have a water damaged drywall ceiling in our living room that Carlos tried to fix. Because the damage was extensive, meaning the drywall was so soft, he was not able to repair it to its full potential and make it look the same as the rest of the ceiling. Because he was not satisfied with the outcome, due to NO fault of his own, he was kind and generous enough not to charge me with that part of the work. Final Touch price was very reasonable and lower than the other competitors that I called. He also gave me 5% discount from being an Angie's List member. I'm glad we used Final Touch Ceilings' services. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to friends and family and to all the customers who sees this post.

The entire process was out standing.They removed pop corn ceilings from our entire house.Their was no mess.We can't say enough about how neat carlos and his men are.He put in recessed lighting in four rooms.He installed dimmer switches and replaced old electrical outlets.The lighting is outstanding.He replaced or installed ceiling fans in five rooms.They look and work great.We had him remove a door and frame and finish the opening with dry wall and paint.It looks great.Our new ceilings are absolutely beautiful .Carlos did everything we asked.Everything was don for the price quoted. It was a real pleasure doing business with Carlos Pory Burns.I highly recommend Final Touch Ceilings.Carlos is the model of professionalism.

Carlos and crew did a great job. They were extremely clean, quick and professional. Their bid was as good or better than the others that estimated the job, and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. Carlos even came by 2-3 times after the job was done to take care of a few loose ends and was very accommodating.

Responded promptly to our call. Came and gave free estimate and listened to our wants and needs. Very willing to do what was needed to make us happy. Was very friendly and courteous. Did a professional job and came at a moment' s notice. Had to come back because pendant lights we ordered were backed ordered. Completed other work and then came back when lights came in with no problems. Reasonably priced. Would use him again in a heartbeat.

I like their professionalism. They perform the job that they promised. They did a top notch job. Their price was fair.

Carlos was aware that I was anxious to get my ceilings and lighting job completed as soon as possible. He was able to move some pre existing appointments around to accommodate my request. He and his crew arrived on time and completed all of the work in a total of two days. When they were finished Carlos made sure everything was to my satisfaction and the entire work site was cleaned up. On several occasions, I had to contact Danelle at the office, she as always able to assist me and was also a pleasure to work with.

All work was done to our complete satisfaction in a timely and professional way. They completely covered every wall and floor with plastic each day to protect our home and furnishings and then took it all down at the end of the day so that our home could be used in the evening. The next morning all new coverings were put in place for a fresh clean new start of the work. The crew came in the same vehicle so parking was not a problem. I was able to rely on the opinion of Carlos when questions came up about what was current and would look good in our home. We felt totally comfortable and happy with the choice to use Final Touch Ceilings to work on our home.

The job went well overall with no damage during the tear down and little to know mess left behind each day. The Final Touch guys tarped and moved everything effectively and we only cleared small items and the top most shelves of the closets, this really felt like full service as I was hoping for. The quality of the paint and texturing is very high, I can not find any errors or flaws in the job. The team was punctual each day and very friendly and easy to work with, they also were flexible to our schedule and really made sure we got what we wanted. The cost for their work might have been a bit higher than the others we got estimates from but the fact that they could do the ceilings and install the light fixtures and there would be no subcontracting was very attractive to me. The only minor details that could have been better is: 1. They missed the confirmation call before the job stated but we called them the next day, we forgave them quickly as the office manager is very friendly and seemed to have made an honest mistake. 2. They textured the closet ceiling but did not remove the upper rails that the doors hang from and do that area so under them is still popcorn and will have to be touched up when we replace the closets.

They were awesome! Our ceilings and lighting came out exactly how we wanted it. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends. Carlos and his crew were very professional, pleasant to work with and made sure our home was clean and tidy before they left. Thanks for all your work!

I was very pleased with the job and the experience dealing with them. In preparation for the messy work, they spent a few hours carefully covering the entire area with recyclable plastic sheets before they started the work to keep the dust contained. Except for the new looks on the ceiling, one wouldn't know there had been drywall work done in the house because they cleaned up very well before they left. They were all polite and pleasant. I highly recommend them.

I really enjoyed working with Carlos of Final Touch Ceilings and felt he did a great job so I want to note that my "B" rating is solely because of the use of the sub contractor who did the asbestos removal (see separate review for Sirris Abatement for more information). I would note for those who have not done this service before that our service did not include painting the ceilings afterwards. I'm not sure if that can be included or not, but since we already had painters coming out after this, we just had them take care of it. Carlos was very professional and explained that we needed a sample of the ceiling tested before he could give a final estimate as it depended on whether it contained asbestos. Unfortunately, ours did and the cost is much higher for that. However, Carlos' estimate was still lower than any of the other companies I spoke with and he was far more professional and friendly so we went with him. We were very pleased with Final Touch Ceiling's part of the service as the texture was well done and he cleaned up everything afterwards - including the mess left by the asbestos removal company. Carlos' secretary was personable and helpful in scheduling and we would definitely use Final Touch Ceilings again. Our only issue was with the sub-contractor he used for the asbestos removal who chipped some of our new paint and left a tacky residue that I could not remove with scrubbing or any kind of goo be gone and had to eventually paint over in every room. Overall, I would say if you don't have asbestos, definitely use Final Touch Ceilings as they are fantastic, professional, and well priced, but if you do have asbestos, see if they can use another contractor for the removal as Sirris is just too careless.

Provider did an outstanding job. Showed up on time and really worked around my schedule. They go out of their way for you. Would use them again in a minute.

Carlos was amazing and very pleasant throughout the entire process. He came on time to give us an estimate. We had a few more estimates and even though he was not the cheapest, his price was very competitive. He really did his best to accommodate our timeline as we needed to the work done prior to moving in with our small children. He and his crew removed the popcorn ceiling for a 2600 sqft house, installed 4 ceiling fans, installed 4 recess lights in the living room, and converted a 1980's light box in the kitchen. They performed quality work in a short amount of time. No hidden costs. Would recommend this company without any reservation.

Carlos and another co worker pulled down the ugliest pressed paper tiles in 3 bedrooms, removed glue and any other residue, and smooth finished ceilings. Couldn't be happier with quality, communication, price, and overall experience. I highly recommend!!

great. by definition drywall work is very messy. Carlos and his worker left the rooms neat/clean. Worked hard and long hours, took 2 full days. very helpful w/ideas and options available. Utilized their offered 5% off for Angie List customers.

Best communication ever! Danelle always return phone calls quickly. (She even calls me back when I didn't leave a voicemail because I thought it could wait.) I got confirmation/reminder before each visit. She also followed up to make sure I have the asbestos certificate I requested. Carols (boss) was also very helpful and accommodating. He even took the initiative to speak to my electricians when he recognized some potential problems for the soffit removal. The price is competitive and they did a great job. (All the contractors who come after commented so when they saw the work.) I would recommend this team to anyone and plan to ask them to help me with my house again.

The folks at Final Touch Ceilings were professional, competitively priced and did outstanding work in our home. Our experience was excellent from start to finish and we plan on using them again for future home restoration projects. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family.

I'am so happy and relieved that I choose Final Touch Ceilings. This is the most professional, respectful and hardworking company. From the 1st phone call to the finished product this was an excellant experience. I have been a homeowner for over 41 yrs. I have had my " bad experiences" more than I want to remember so I tend to be very selective about who I hire, always keeping my fingers crossed. But as soon as I met Carlos for the estimate I knew this was a great company. Here are the reasons why. Accoustic removal is very messy and hard work, Carlos and his crew covered everything in heavy plastic, drapes, furniture, walls, carpet etc. nothing expose. They worked 2 ten hour days. I never even saw them take a break. They were quiet, no loud talking no radios no fooling around. They went right to work both days. When my dog had to have emergency surgery and I had to reschedule our original start time Carlos worked out the perfect time for me. I always got Danelle whenever I called the office for anything and answered all my questions. Carlos was always on time considerate and knowledgable and gave me great advice on lighting and fans. Everything is beautiful. A company is only as good as its people , and their work ethic, Carlos and Danelle and Mike and Jeremey are great people.

Carlos and his crew showed up on time. They were well-organized and worked hard to get the job done. They laid polyurethane sheeting for protection, even on the front porch and walkway. When they finished they cleaned up everything, including some drywall mud footprints I had left in the street next to my car. They did a great job and working with Carlos and the office was a pleasure.

First off, everyone I came in contact with at the company was nice and professional. All of the work Carlos and his crew did was above my expectations. They left no mess what so ever. The job was in a rental, But we will be calling Final Touch to do our main home in the near future.

Excellent. On time and very neat and clean for such a messy job. Craftsman work, home looks like new. They did it all. Highly recommended. Carlos came out and did free estimate. Carlos is owner and does work himself. They were booked and we had to wait several weeks but it was worth the wait.

Final Touch did an excellent job from start to finish removing the popcorn from my ceilings and installing new lighting. Carlos impressed me with his knowledge and suggestions from the first. He and his crew, Mike and Thomas, covered up well, cleaned up afterwards, and did a great job. I liked having a company that could do it all rather than having to hire separate crews for the popcorn and the lighting. Once the touch up paint along the walls dried and we could see that they didn?t quite match, Final Touch didn?t hesitate to correct the issue. I was thoroughly pleased with Carlos and the team and would recommend them.

So professional and always on time. Carlos (the boss) and his assistant were at our home for three days and worked incredibly hard every minute of the day. All furniture was covered and there was very little mess considering the removal of so much popcorn. They vacuumed every day. Every night before leaving everything was removed that had been covered up so we could easily sleep in the bedrooms. They took the large doors off all the bedrooms closets to easily access the popcorn in the closets. Even the ceiling fixtures were brought down so they could remove all the popcorn under the fixtures. The final invoice was exactly as stated when the proposal was first presented. The kitchen ceiling looks amazing. Those old florescent bulbs are now gone and the kitchen looks so much bigger with the recessed lights. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Very courteous and so pleasant to work with.
