It went extremely well. The workers were very efficient. I was especially happy with the aesthetics of the tree trimming. All the trees look great. We have two citrus tree that were growing out of control and they cut them back and shaped them beautifully. We also have an old California pepper tree that they thinned out and also shaped beautifully. They did an excellent clean up job when they were finished. Also, the rep who gave us the estimate was very personable and informed about our trees.

Everything was great. The crew arrived on time, they did a great job, they were fast, cleaned up very well & all were very nice.

We were very impressed with "YOUR WAY TREE SERVICE" from the start. Patrick showed up right on time with the best proposal. They provided a crane to protect our house and the nearby environment from falling branches. Setting up the crane was not easy, we live on a small cul-de-sac with Santa Monica Mountains right behind us. After some measurements and adjustments, the crane was up. Marcos the tree climber secured the branches to the arm of the crane, then cut them. The branches were lowered and the rest of the crew immediately cut them into smaller pieces and into the wood chipper. Jessie the owner, Louis the supervisor stopped by few times. The work was supervised at all time and all our questions were answered, they even gave us some advise on other trees in our property. Few neighbors stopped by, they were impressed by their professionalism, they asked for their business cards. THE CLEAN UP AFTER WAS AMAZING. LOOK FOR THE YELLOW TRUCKS. "YOUR WAY TREE SERVICE". The service was great. The were able to come out quickly and complete the service.

Patrick showed up same day as my call to give me a quote. Very personable and explained everything clearly. The quys (6) and their equipment showed up as scheduled, and began working after one last walk through. The Liquid Amber was in a corner overlooking 3 other yards. Not one branch was allowed to fall in neighbors yards. They had grinders to handle the stumps and big roots. Clean-up was satisfactory. Was very happy with overall experience. Am probably using them again on another property. .

After having used the same tree service for over twelve years we decided to try somebody new, simply due to our feeling that we could possibly get an equally good job done for a little less money. We chose Your Way Tree Service because they have so many great reviews from other Angie's List customers. They certainly didn't disappoint. In fact, they far surpassed our former tree service in every way. From Patrick's initial estimate, which was hundreds less than our other tree service, to the perfectly finished work with Julio and his top notch crew, these guys are first class professionals in every way... prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful way beyond the call of duty. This isn't just a tree trimming service... These guys know the science of healthy trees and they are more than willing to share all kinds of helpful tips. We have a fig tree that has grown very fast and one branch was hanging too low over a sidewalk. We were afraid that, if we cut it off, we would lose the beautiful symmetry of the tree, but Julio and his crew did a masterful job of reshaping the entire tree so that we could lose the problem limb without losing the tree's beautiful shape. We also have an apricot tree that hasn't been producing fruit in the last couple of years and Julio immediately pointed out at least three things we need to do to fix that, including a really clever way to prevent the tree from getting damaged by fungus. The crew did a super job cleaning up and they didn't damage one square inch of our landscaping. We can't wait to call them again!

They did a terrific job, cleaned up and I was very pleased with the quality of their work. I gave them a D in responsiveness because we had a scheduled day in December however it rained that day. I expected them to call me and reschedule however I never heard back from them. Several weeks later I called to reschedule and got it done. I prefer to have a business show they care but I would certainly use them again.

They are very professional. They are just great. My neighbors use them now, too. Their prices are very fair.

We had a wonderful experience. They arrived on time both when they gave the quote AND everyday when they came to do the job. I can't believe how fast they were, too. It took 2 days and a morning to do the job (other tree trimmers who came out said the job would take at least 4 days) On the 2nd day, it was raining, but they came out anyway, and they sat in there cars waiting to see if the rain would let up...and after 1 hour, it did, and away they went to work! There was always someone there who spoke English, so that communication was never a problem. We asked if they would cut us some "rounds" to use for a table we wanted to make, and some "trunk legs" to make a bench, which they promptly did with a smile. All of this, and the best part was, their quote was less than 1/2 of most of the other guys, even though they were just as good and had insurance, as well. I highly recommend them!

This was a totally professional outfit. Thew knew what they were doing, they arrived promptly. They did an excellent quality job. They finished relatively quickly. They were easy to deal with. I can easily (and strongly) reommend them.

They actually arrived a few minutes early and took pretty much the entire day to do all the work, as expected. I've used them a few times before and their work has always been top notch, as this time. I was also given some firewood, which wasn't in the original proposal -- an added plus. Additionally, they came by a month or so ago, gave advice on a couple of citrus trees that looked unhealthy, and didn't charge extra for that. One can certainly find cheaper tree services, but if you want good, professional value and have your trees treated right, I recommend them.

It was a very invovled job that entailed a crew of 5 or so working all day. They were on time and did a nice job. They left the area spotless.

This is the third time I hired Jesse and his crew. As before -- OUTSTANDING! Absolutely awesome service -- on time, professional, careful, and left my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. Definitely recommended!

I found them on Angie's list. They had great reviews. Called them and Jesse came out to give quote. The price was great and I set up an appointment for them to come out a few weeks later. The crew came out on time as scheduled. They were courteous, professional and upbeat. I showed them the tree and they geared up to do the job. I got them a few bottled waters and they went to town. After the job was done they showed me what was done and got my thumbs up. Not only was the tree cut the way I wanted but they cleaned up the area very nicely. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!

I am amazed. Your Way Tree Service Inc. came out and had this tree cut down and cleaned up in three hours! I went to the store and when I came back, everything was taken care of. I am thrilled with this service and would use them again.

e I called Jess at Your Way Tree Service last week and requested a bid for the above work (I was getting one other bid.) He came out that afternoon and immediately provided me with a written estimate. He also gave me good advice about how they should and should not be cut, and also informed me that they do not use spikes on their shoes, like most other tree services, as the spike can easily damage even large trees like the ash tree. After getting one other bid, Jesse's bid was substantially less, so I went with his company. They came out as scheduled and have a terrific crew of guys that do the work. The are extremely professional, did exceptional work, and cleaned up the yard nicely before leaving. They also trimmed the tops of a couple of additional small trees for no extra charge. I've used several other tree companies in the past, the these guys were definitely the best that I've used, and will certainly use them again in the future.

They did a great job. I received three different estimates and they were the lowest, coming in at less than half of what the highest guy wanted to charge. Interestingly, the estimator from Your Way who came out was also the most professional of the three companies I received estimates from. The crews were clean, professional, and efficient. I called to set up the service on Saturday and spoke to a very pleasant woman on the phone who said that she had all my information there and that the dispatcher, who had left for the day by the time I called, would phone me on Monday to set up the appointment. Promptly at 9:00 am on Monday, the dispatcher called and offered me a time that SAME day. At 5:00pm the crew showed up, by 5:25 the tree was down, by 5:35 the bird of paradise was out, and by 6 they had ground the stump, cleaned up, and were ready to go. They had trouble with one of their chipper trucks, so the foreman informed me that they would come the next day to remove the debris which they had neatly stacked at the curb. Indeed, first thing in the morning the next day, a clean and shiny chipper truck came in and another crew removed the wood and the rest of the debris. I could not have been happier with the work they performed and would gladly recommend them. You'd never know they'd been here, or that a tree had ever been where it was, which is exactly the way it should be.

This was my second time using Your Way. Jesse was responsive and set up an appointment for an estimate quickly. The first time I used Your Way Jesse came to the job site while the job was being performed, and it went smother. This time the crew was late, which probably led to some of the other issues. Overall the job was very well done. and I am very happy with the results My only concern was with the crew that showed up this time. Only a few of the guys showed up at first and it took them a long time to get started, even though it was a big job and they were a few hours behind with only a few hours of daylight remaining. The rest of the crew showed up later. Then, as they were trimming an enormous old Jacaranda tree, a large branch swung and hit my roof. It made a loud thud and I was concerned that there was damage (luckily nothing noticed so far). Other large branches were allowed to fall onto an adjacent bush and smaller tree. My windows were not shielded by plywood like they did the first time either. Once it became clear to them that they were way behind schedule, I had to stay on top of these guys to finish exactly what was agreed upon. I had to convince the guy up in the tree to cut down several small dead branches. At the end it was like pulling teeth. I would use this company again, but I would insist on a different crew, and ask Jesse to come by the site to supervise. But, again, the overall job, turned out totally outstanding.

Everything went fantastic. Eight-man crew was unbelievably quick, and the two trees to be removed were down and gone within twenty minutes. They were quick, cleaned up everything and even had time to remove a bush we hadn't asked them about before. Your Way's estimate to remove two Carolina Cherry trees, deadwood a big Elm and trim another was about half of another provider's estimate, so we were concerned about quality of the job - but that worry turned out completely unfounded as the guys were great, fast, and couldn't have gone smoother.

The estimator is a certified arborist and another certified arborist supervised the crew. They knew how to thin the trees without topping or hacking. The crew did a good job.

Maybe the first mistake I made was to allow this vendor to work unattended at my home, figuring that they were responsible enough to carry out the work unsupervised. They did a good job on removing the trees, but a horrible job on being responsible for what they did. After promising me that they would cut the trees down in "biscuit" sizes, I found out from my neighbor that they allowed large sections of the trees to fall freely on my driveway & front sidewalk . My front sidewalk is cracked now & they knocked down my neighbors mailbox in the process. The did fix the mailbox. What got me most upset was the fact that I came home to find the entire house, from the roof , to the outside walls to the landscape covered with sawdust which I had to call them back to clean up. Overall, an aggravating experience.

Your Way Tree Services came to give me an estimate on trimming one large tree that was located on a steep hill next to my house. They found another somewhat smaller tree that also needed trimming. Their quote was $900 for the the large tree and $450 for the smaller tree for a total of $1,350. Their quote was somewhat above the lowest quote I got, but I was impressed with Jesse Montoya's professionalism and decided to go with his service. The crew arrived on time, performed the work quickly and carefully, making sure not to damage any part of the house that was next to (and somewhat under) the larger tree. The work was not easy, given the hill slope and amount of trimming that was required. They cleaned up all the debris and left the trees well shaped. I am very pleased with their work and will use them again for future tree trimming on my property.

They gave me a lower quote than what I had been quoted previous by another provider. The other provider wanted $1300 for two trees while Your Way Tree Service quoted me $950 for two trees and to clean up other shrubbery around my home. They did a very good job with the work provided. They cleaned up everything and hauled it all away. They came on half hour earlier than scheduled which I thought was a good thing.

This crew was amazing! They pruned and shaped our huge mulberry tree exactly as described when they gave us the estimate and did the entire job, trimming to cleanup, in less than an hour and a half! We we will call them again when necessary and would definitely recommend their services to anyone needing tree trimming.
