Your Way Tree Service

A division of Your Way Tree Service named Canada Tree Care pruned two LARGE trees in our front yard. The proposal/estimate was provided during the same visit when Michael Barker (an I.S.A Certified Arborist) looked at the trees and determined the work involved. It turned out that the estimated price was lower than the competitors. They arrived within the predetermined time window and completed the pruning, mulching and cleanup within an hour and 45 minutes. We would be happy to use the same tree service if we ever need pruning in the future!

Great Great Great!!! I had let my trees go for way too long and was worried about the Sycamore - love it and was worried a major trim could be hazardous in the wrong hands. Plus there was over 6 inches of leaves all over my property. They did an absolutely phenomenal job on that tree. It is a work of art - several neighbors have even commented. The Chinese elm was terribly trimmed a few years ago and now was trying to grow into my bedroom window. They did what they could to right the previous wrong and it looks graceful. The elderberry is supposed to be a bush, but mine had grown into a huge tree taking up about 20 feet of my yard. - the lower branches were all dead. It looks very healthy now. I think the birds miss their dead branches though. In addition they cleared up an overgrown side yard, took all the leaves and downed branches, got rid of a dead bay tree, and did their best on a pepper tree that keeps coming back. Also cleaned up after themselves - including the roof and the gutters on the side of the house they worked. Took 6 guys most of a day but what a relief!

Jesse gave me a very extensive estimate of the work that needed to be done. His crew arrived right on time and the work was performed exactly as Jesse had described it. Your Way did an excellent job! I can not recommend them highly enough. This is the second time they have performed work on our trees and I will continue to use them and recommend them.

A long overdue review but I wanted to make sure I gave this team the well deserved credit they are due. Lewis came out to put together a quote, spent a good amount of time walking the yard with me, and provided a very competive estimate given the amount of time the work would take. The crew showed up on time. The foreman, Marcus, and his team worked diligently, took care of everything that had been discussed and provided a little extra care to some other trees that were not even part of the original job. I had a great experience and will use Your Way Tree Service again for future work and maintenance.

They did a good job, including protecting the pool with covers. Several trees trimmed, some problem citrus were addressed, brush cleared. Seemed knowledgeable with arborist advice.

They were amazingly easy to work with. They picked up all of the debris (and there was a LOT) not only in my yard but also in my neighbors' yard when Your Way removed.

First they were amazing. This company gave me a quote and came the morning of the scheduled appointment on time and started work immediately. It was a six member team with all proper equipment and experience. They definitely knew what they were doing. They were professional and efficient. They literally had the job done in a few hours and it didn't even look like two huge trees had been on my property. The price was a bit high but this is a licensed, insured and bonded co. that truly knew what they were doing. I recommend them highly.

There was some confusion in getting the quotes straight, but the result was equitable and the work was done promptly and professionally and a large volume of cuttings was cleaned up and hauled away .

We were pleased that everything went according to plan and the crew was very professional and accommodating.

It never happened. I called and they came by about 5 months ago and gave me an estimate on how much it would cost. It all seemed pretty fair. I followed up asking for an estimate for just my jacaranda tree. It took them a while to return with a new estimate, they apologized and said they had been very busy. I waited for the Holiday season to end, and went back to them saying I would like to proceed with the new estimate on my jacaranda. It has now been 3 months since I asked, and no one ever got in touch with me.

The Your Way Tree Service crew showed up on time and were efficient and more than knowledgeable. They did the job as promised in just a couple of hours. The trimming of the pepper tree was an issue because branches were hitting our roof line and hanging over into the neighbor's yard. The Your Way staff listened to our concerns and did a beautiful job of correcting the problems while keeping the tree in a healthy and attractive state.

The estimate was very reasonable for both trees, and the crew was very friendly and professional. Everything was cleaned up, wonderfully, afterwards.

After getting several quotes to prune my olive tree and hedge for a natural, open, lacy look, I selected Your Way Tree Service. They were not the least expensive, nor the most expensive to do the work, but I had the most confidence that with Your Way, the work would be done attractively, based on reviews and discussion with Lewis, the sales rep, Victor and his crew showed up a bit later than scheduled, and I had to call the company to make sure the crew would be arriving. But in the end, I was very happy with the results, and I will definitely hire them again.

I called and left a message, and received a call back very quickly. An estimator came out the next day to give me an estimate, and called his office to squeeze me in to the work schedule since we needed the job done quickly. The crew arrived early and everyone was polite and professional. They worked quickly and did a beautiful job on the trees, they look great! They cleaned up really well, too, and moved everything back into place (hammock, chairs, etc.). Then they asked me to come outside to see the work to be sure I was satisfied before they left. I was very happy with crew's work and with my interactions with the office, and I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to others.

The service very kindly scheduled my job for the day after I got the estimate because of the branch on the roof. The gentleman who gave me the estimate showed up during the time scheduled and the workers came the next day on time as well. The price listed below is AFTER the Angie's list discount; it would have been $500 without the discount. They did a good job. I'd definitely hire them again.

Simple. Easy breezy. Unlike other established tree-trimming companies I've used, which have long scheduling waits for smaller jobs ("We'll call when we're coming to your neighborhood."), YWTS, Inc. makes appointments with reasonable wait times, one or two weeks down the road and KEEPS THEM! I was able to schedule an estimate with YOLANDA less than a week after I called and a crew less than a week after that. Good service! PATRICK, the estimator, was punctual and knowledgeable about trees and their care. He shared information about my trees that was helpful and very much appreciated. In addition, he gave me a reasonable price for the work I needed to have done. I care about my trees, but some of the prices I've been quoted for tree trimming in the past have been astronomical and quite silly! The trucks and crew of 4-5 guys also arrived on time and were supervised by another superlative employee and gentleman, JULIO. He listened carefully to my concerns and those of my neighbor who had popped out of the house as soon as she heard the trucks arrive. She was nervous about losing her privacy along the property line and JULIO handled it like a true diplomat. He assured her that everything would be fine and she had nothing to worry about. When the job was done, she thanked him and asked him to look at the trees in her backyard! The crew did their assignments with efficiency and finesse. Everything looks so much better than before. As others on Angie's List have said, the crew, supervised by JULIO, was able to make all the trees they touched look balanced and beautiful. They do indeed have a good "eye" when it comes to trimming a tree! I can recommend them fully and without reservation.

Carlos was great from the start taking care of every detail with the city of Pasadena. It was a lot of prep time getting the city to agree to the damage the tree was doing to the neighbors carport. The day of the tree removal, Marcus and his team were extremely professional. I am very happy with their work and would use them again anytime I would need these services. We've used them twice. The first time, the trimmed a fruitless pear and a eucalyptus, and removed some small volunteer trees. They did a beautiful job. The second time was for removal of some trees that were blocking our view on our neighbor's slope, and they cleared everything out around the fence line so it could be repaired and painted. I really have to emphasize something. My husband and I are both designers and we are super-fussy about how our trees look. The crew from Your Way did a beautiful job both times. I needed to have my bougainvillea cut back from the fence, but just enough so the fence guys could work on the bottom of the fence and paint as much as possible. The plant looks like a sculpture now--the guys were very careful. Fast, tidy, and (most important to me) a great eye and respect for the trees.

The professional caliber of a company is revealed by how they handle problems. My job had some complications and the whole team --- Jessie, Rene, Carlos, et al., went above and beyond to ensure that all went perfectly. Who would've thought that having all the trees in my yard removed or trimmed would be such a positive experience. Your Way Tree Service just raised the bar for standards of excellence and professionalism. i recommend them without hesitation.
