Paramount Pavers & Construction

This was really a job well done. Everything looks perfect. We wanted to get rid of the pool in our backyard and they did it in a timely fashion. They helped drain all the water out and then started drilling for a couple days. The guys worked really hard, took little rest and went home late. Super professional and attentive to the task at hand. We wanted some stones that matched the rest of our backyard and they were able to match it pretty well. From upstairs, you can't even tell the difference. Overall it was perfectly done with no complaints here. I would recommend them to anyone trying to fix up their yard.

After a lot of consideration and looking at alternate proposals, we chose Paramount for our driveway replacement. It was our first major investment in our home after 15 years, so we were concerned about quality, responsiveness and professionalism. From the contract terms negotiation through demo and installation of the new pavers and stucco we couldn't be happier. They showed up early on the day promised and we continued to be impressed at the speed of work. We had an entirely new driveway in 2 weeks, even with the delays we introduced picking out the right stucco color. Isaac coached us through the process and never seemed rushed or annoyed with our endless questions. Even details for work that we didn't specify like the porch/landing came out looking great. The installation crew was always considerate of our need to have a path around the house, and little "after the fact" items like extending some edging and patching existing concrete edges were handled without hassle and at no extra charge.

I love Rudy and Isaac. Our backyard is almost impossible to access. Nothing but stairs and small walkways, only reachable with a long walk. Most people who came out to give us quotes didn't want the work because of the degree of difficulty. But Rudy and Isaac said no problem, and it really wasn't. Alex and Jerry started the project and added another guy on day 2. They demolished our old tile patio, removed a couple trees, moved and kept all the plants we wanted to keep, tossed the plants I didn't want, and also were nice enough to throw out some plants while keeping the pots we wanted. It took four days but they got it done with no issues at all. They worked hard and the backyard looks great!

We executed Due Diligence and obtained estimates from five different contractors, some only specializing in pavers, and others who were General Contractors who could handle other jobs. Frankly, we were a bit skeptical at first about hiring a company that didn't specialize in patios, until we met Isaac and Rudy (owners of Paramount construction). They arrived on time for our estimate, and immediately we felt like they had been friends of ours for years. Very easy-going and clearly wanted to work with us and our unique needs. After review of all of the estimates we received, we found their prices to be fair. We did not take the lowest price, and we certainly did not go with one of the other contractors whose estimate and scope of work was completely unreasonable, and clearly and effort to upsell. Once the contract was signed, Isaac worked with us on a scaled payment structure for the job. This immediately put us at ease as they did not require anything but an small deposit in order to get the work started, unlike a few other contractors we met with you expected up to 50% of a down payment/deposit so they could order materials, etc. Paramount sent an immaculate and new port-a-potty to our site days prior to the commencement of our project. This was a welcome site as we weren't sure how they planned to accommodate their workers. Once the project began, their team was timely, and flexible with our needs. The project morphed a bit due to unforeseen challenges with the slope of our property on one side, requiring either a pony or "sitting" wall or a grading of that side of the property to accommodate the new and lower patio. Isaac provided some great options, including a low to no charge to grade the area. We decided to add the sitting wall as our large is fairly large and we felt that having a more defined space provided some benefits, and established the area as it's own unique space. We provided a scale drawing on graph paper of how we envisioned the new patio to look. This included softer lines around the perimeter, the 30ft sitting wall, planters, and a small tree wall for a Jujubee tree that we did not want to remove. We also added 240ft. of 3" conduit and a bunch of 4" sleeves underneath the patio for future projects. This is a key component for any patio build. Think ahead about what you may want to do in the future, and build the infrastructure in early, and be liberal about it. The job took about 10 working days to complete, and while we had a couple of minor issues to address during the installation, it was more about design and infrastructure than anything else. I took vacation during this time in order to oversee the project and ensure that any changes, design thoughts, etc. were immediately addressed on site, and the project could move forward. At times during construction you don't realize what you may want until you are into the job, and Isaac and his crew could not have been any more accommodating. In fact, Isaac and Rudy were very upfront and said that they understand how these types of jobs go, and that it's kind of like a work of art, that morphs during it's infancy, but is required to attain the best possible outcome. Paramount was fantastic about working within our budget, and their prices and quality of work are second to none. Our old patio was an eyesore, and we generally didn't use it very often because frankly it was ugly. Our new space ended up being about a thousand square feet larger, and we were able to remove about 35-40% of our grass, which is helping to cut down on our monthly water bills. We are extremely please with the outcome of our project, and we are outside all the time now. Our friends and neighbors have visited our house, and we receive nothing but rave reviews about our patio, all thanks to Isaac, Rudy, their teams and Paramount Construction as a whole. We will definitely use them again, and recommend them to our friends and family. Excellent job guys!!!

We found Isaac and Rudy to be personable and very knowledgeable and professional in their approach to the design and implementation of our driveway and entry-way/courtyard. During the construction process, they were readily available for consultation and were very accommodating to our needs. The masonry crew were friendly and very skilled. They were available for questions and explained each step of the process to us. We were exceptionally pleased with the result of their efforts and would absolutely recommend them . During the installation process, they found a corrupted pipe from a previous job many years ago by another company. Isaac and Rudy replaced this pipe without charge to us.

The work was excellent, the bid was fair, the work was performed on time and Isaac was very accommodating to make sure I was completely happy with the job. There was an issue with a small amount of the work that was not up to the standard that had been established. Isaac happily agreed to remove the flagstones in question and replace them at no cost to me. The finished work far exceeded my expectations.

This project was a bit longer than most, we signed the contract in May and everything was completed last week of July. Contractor helped with design and stone selections which turned out great and we now have the front yard sectioned off as a small court yard with a nice break for the drive way. It looks awesome. The wall came out really good with the smooth stucco contractor doing an excellent job. All columns were wired for 110V and we now have nice LED lanterns on each which nicely lights up the front-yard. The iron wall sections, walkway and driveway gates all came out great as well. Since the front yard was all torn up we replaced all underground piping for sewer and water, both big projects in themselves. Isaac (the contractor) was very easy to work with and things moved along as expected. When demo crews bumped into stuff they repaired any damage quickly and professionally. He wasn't one of those contractors that goes cheap and underbids and then wants more money as you progress. Overall I would recommend them, project came out great, on budget and we are happy.

Isaac and Rudy promised me that when everything is finished it would be to my satisfaction. They really went out of their way to keep their promise. I was sceptical because of prior bad experiences with contractors on other projects. They really were wonderful to deal with- I like that if I wasn't crazy about something, they would re do it to my satisfaction without the usual B.S. ( nickel and dime stuff, or "that can't be done" routine.) I had interviewed many contractors before them, received ridiculous bids which made no sense- when I contacted these guys it was originally for the front and back yard pavers- as I temporarily put on hold the bedroom and bathroom addition- When the two guys came over to give estimate, I felt really comfortable talking with them-- their estimates were very reasonable compared to other estimates for those companies that specialize in the pavers. They also had very good reviews as well. So when we started talking I mentioned that we had refinanced the house in order to add a bedroom and bathroom for an elderly parent, I had them give me an estimate for that and all the other stuff we needed to do to fix up our fixer upper. I should mention that I did have a slightly lower estimate on the room addition from another company that was recomended on Angie's List-- but I just felt a lot of confidence with these guys. Now that everything is done, we really feel we made the right choice.

Isaac and his crew were very professional and punctual. He was extremely flexible with all the work that needed to be done, including things that we wanted to do last minute (e.g. clear out old brush/plants, etc.). His pricing was the best out of several paver companies we got bids for. The new pavers look fantastic, and did it all within the estimated time quoted. Will hire him again for other things we need done around the house.

We are extemely pleased with the results of our new master bathroom. Our experience was wonderful. The contactors were very professional. They were very attentive to our needs, were polite and accomodated us every step of the way. The job was done in the time frame that was laid out and we were happy with the team and the work. We enjoyed the experience so much that we are in the process of designing our new kitchen.. Thank you Paramount for the great experience.

Isaac was great to work with. Very responsive, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the client. All problems were handled very professionally, and the patio looks great. Would definitely recommend them and will use them for future projects.

Issac was wonderful from start to finish. He always did what he said he was going to do. He worked with me on the financial end. He towed stuff from my yard that wasn?t his responsibility. I would recommend his company, Paramount Pavers, to anyone.

Let me start out by saying that I am not easily pleased with contractors. I've had many over 25 years of owning many different homes and few have been worth a positive word, let alone the kind of praise I'm about to offer Paramount. Paramount Pavers was excellent in every phase of the work. The work started on time and finished on time and on budget. They even did a few things at no extra cost. Their clean up was superb, not only after the job was finished but during the job as well. They took precautions to ensure that rubble did not get into the pool. They even added, at no extra cost, two extra drains 'just because it needed it.' Isaac is a pleasure to work with. Everyone on his crew was polite, responsive, thoughtful and extremely good at their job. Isaac communicated well about the progress of the work. The work quality, as much as I am able to tell, is of the highest standard. It looks great. And..this is the most important thing...no nickel and diming! They did the job correctly, the first time. No arguing, no acrimony, no nothing. I offer Paramount Pavers my most enthusiastic and unqualified endorsement. If they contract for work you need done, you'd be foolish to use anyone else. They are the finest contractors with whom I've ever worked.

Paramount Pavers already installed a block wall for us in October. We were so impressed with the quality of the work that we decided to have our driveway, walkways, side yard, patio and pool deck redone in paving stones. Isaac is truly amazing! He really worked with us (just like he did with the wall project) to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. His crew is very talented, going the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The transformation in the look of our house is absolutely unbelievable. Several people have walked passed the house and commented to me how great it looks. Before committing to having the work done, I drove all over town looking at people's driveway to get ideas and decide what colors and finishes I liked. I looked at jobs done by Paramount, as well as the work of others. The quality of the work varied from just average to excellent. All of the Paramount jobs were excellent, while some of the others left a little to be desired. Maybe I'm prejudiced, but now that my job is done, I must say that it turned out be outstanding! I would hire Isaac again in a heartbeat.

I couldn't ask for a better experience. The price was reasonable. The crew showed up on time and left my yard clean. Isaac let me know when the crew would be there and kept an close eye on the project. The wall and fence extension turned out beautiful. The crew kept the gate closed so the dog was safe. The job was completed as stated in the bid and on time. I wish I could afford to replace the whole wall and not just the falling-down section!

He did excellent work. My backyard is beautiful. I would highly recommend them. They did everything in a timely manner. They stand behind their work.

In order to replace a wall that was falling down, we solicited bids from about 6 contractors. We decided to use Paramount Pavers Construction based on several factors, including price, quality of work, previous reviews and gut feeling. While Paramount's price was not the lowest bid, it was still very competitive. The owner, Isaac Maimon was very professional and worked very closely with us to make sure we were happy. He came out and gave us a very comprehensive written estimate. Throughout the negotiation process he was always available to answer questions, bring out samples and discuss various options. When we received the written estimate, it specified exactly how the wall would be constructed, including details on what measures would be incorporated to insure that the wall would be strong. Demolition and construction began right on schedule and the wall was completed in the promised timeframe. We were very impressed with the quality of the work as the job progressed. It was quite evident that his workers really knew what they were doing. The job has just been completed and it looks fantastic! I joked with my wife that if we have another big earthquake, the house will probably fall down, but the wall will still be standing! We are so impressed with the quality of the job that we are now going to have him install a new driveway, patio and pool deck in paving stone,

He did execellent job and he was very customer friendly. He was very responsive to any issues which came up during the work and resolved the concerns we raised.

They haven't done any work yet. But spent a lot of time with us to understand exactly what work we want done. They were not the cheapest bid, and we had several, but they are such nice guys and really want to please the customer. I didn't get that feeling from the other companies that were checked out. Their prices were within reason, for everything. When all the work is completed, I will write a review of the work.

Isaac did an amazing job. He made sure that my sprinkler lines were not damaged when the pavers were put down. The staff was orderly and they cleaned up after themselves. The pavers look amazing. He is very responsive to the needs of the customer and goes out of his way to do a good job. I am very happy and will use him again.

Project was completed on time and on schedule in about 5 days time. Considering that the weather was over 100 degrees F every day the crew worked-I was very impressed that they were able to complete the job on schedule. The quality of the the work performed by Paramount Pavers and Isaac and his crew was outstanding. Martine the lead Mason and his son Alfonso were outstanding and very creative. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for any concrete, brick, paver construction. In fact I hired them because I saw the quality of the paver work they did for a neighbor. Their bid was right on the money, Not the highest, not the lowest. Work was performed with care. My two large dogs (retrievers) also liked the crew.

Isaac is a great fellow but sometimes he overextends himself. He has subcontractors and crews in various places and sometimes he is not able to supervise them as well as he would like. He was not able to get back to us at the end of the job to make sure all of our questions were answered, and sometimes he seemed surprised at what had happened between his visits in terms of the quality of the work.

The representative was courteous, on time, informative and professional. The bid was the highest that we received was competitive.

They did a very good job. They communicated well with us and were informative. They were also quick to fix any issues that were found. I would recommend to others.

Isaac and his workers subcontractors were great. It was always cleaned up and done on a punctual and professional manner. I will definitely use Isaac again. My patio and new pavers are beautiful.
