Description of Work: Messaged Paramount Pavers & Construction on Angie's list on 11/30 for a quote to redo my driveway.

Description of Work: They demolished and removed the old paving and installed new paving stones. They forgot or just neglected to deliver the edging pavers but their installers just went ahead and put in the pavers until I noticed and told them to stop until the edgers were sent. Then the workmen just pieced the the edging pavers in which resulted in chopped up small pieces of stones. I am glad I was there to make them re-do the work. Their installers were angry at me for insisting that the job should be done right. The finished job is still not as nice as it should have been. In addition they cut through an electrical line for the lights which I had to pay my electrician to repair. He had to remove one of the paving stones to make the repair and both I and the electrician have asked at least four times for them to send a workman to replace the stone but they don't return the call and the repair has not been done. Further, I think Paramount Paving should reimburse for the electrician's bill.

Description of Work: Replace old asphalt driveway with a new concrete one.

Description of Work: I hired them to tear out the sidewalk and driveway ramp in front of my house (it had all been damaged by out-of-control street tree roots). I had the trees cut down (with City permission) before the concrete work started, but the Paramount guys had to do quite a bit of root removal once they tore up the sidewalk (there were a lot of huge roots under the concrete - it looked like they'd cut down a tall tree with all those roots piled up in the driveway!). This was all included in their original quote, and they even ran several PVC pipes under the sidewalk for future irrigation needs (once I plant new trees along the parkway). | |They handled the interaction with the City inspector very smoothly, and that all went just fine. The finished work was excellent. | |Although it was not part of the quote, they also tore out the brick/cement base my mailbox was attached to because it was severely un-level (due to the tree roots); they cleared the offending roots and poured a new, level slap for me to put a new mailbox on (future project); in the meantime, they set my existing mailbox firmly in the dirt (it's on a post), and it will work fine that way in the short run. My neighbor told me that the workers were very nice and helped her get rid of some huge bags of leaves she was trying to lug across her front yard alone. On all fronts, these guys were just great! (And they beat several other competitors' bids.)

Description of Work: Complete demo & paving of back yard pool area. It went very well. Professional job. Clean, neat, clean up after each day of work. Accommodated changes during the job. Hauled away all excess debris. All around a great job well done.

Description of Work: Provided estimate but did not use their services. I was able to find another service provider for a better price.
