Overall it went very well. The company responded quickly and had the problem fixed right away. The only unexpected surprise was that, after checking the company website which indicated they took credit cards I was told they did not.

The door now works perfectly. We are very pleased.

He saw the problem immediately and ordered the part from his suppliers (it was not a standard spring). He was able to find it and he returned and installed it the same day. Otherwise we would have been without the use of the garage door over the weekend. He was knowledgeable, professional and worked quickly and efficiently. We would use him again.

Eric came to examine the garage door, agreed that he could fix it, but also pointed out why repairs wouldn't last and why a new door was a good idea. Despite his opinion, he was ready to repair the door if I preferred--didn't give me the hard sell. I was convinced, though, so I agreed to a replacement. Eric took careful measurements, gave me a good price, and had the new door ordered and installed within a few days. He was uber-prompt, reliable, and amiable, not to mention extremely well organized. He runs the franchise, so he's invested in customer satisfaction. He is also obviously proud of his work.

Eric arrived within three hours of our call (on a Frday afternoon), and worked through getting our gate and garage doors all working on the same remotes. Terrific!

He came promptly and did the repair work quickly. But then I asked him for a quote to replace the aging system. We talked about options and he said he would send me a quote in a few days. I never heard from him again. I emailed a follow up and still never heard back.

It is rare to have a tradesman or service technician resolve a problem with such care and customer service. Eric bucks the trend with great professionalism and punctuality. He personally made the effort to come first thing the following morning after searching frantically for someone to troubleshoot my problem gate. He spent more than the average time ensuring the service was comprehensive and even made minor adjustments not pertaining to the garage motor to improve our gate use. I would recommend his service any day!

Of course, I did need his help, and he came promptly the next day and fixed everything quickly and as inexpensively as possible, giving me additional info on things that could be done at a later date. He is definitely someone I trust to do a job well and not charge me for extraneous work/parts!

Eric was great. Sent someone out same day. He assessed the job very quickly and very efficiently installed a new opener after giving us the options available. Programmed our cars for us as well. He was very nice and very polite. We are quite happy with our new garage opener. After a few days we had a minor problem with the sensors on the opener and I called Eric who immediately answered and talked me through the remedy. It was resolved in only a few minutes. No problems since.

Eric and his lead installer, Hector, completed a very professional and excellent job. I highly recommend!!! While they were working, a neighbor walked by and asked to speak with Eric. They had received a bid from a competitor and were not happy. To make a long story short, Master Garage will be doing their home next.

We had other two other companies come to give us estimates to repair our driveway gate prior to contacting Master Garage Doors and Gates. Another company wanted to replace the entire gate costing thousands of dollars, the other estimate was to replace a control board which would cost $1,000. Master Garage and Gate came out to see the problem and was able to fix it for a few hundred dollars by replacing the battery and transformer. That was a few months ago (took a little while to write this review) and the gate is still functioning perfectly. We thought the service and price was so great that we contacting Master Garage and Gate again to install a new garage door opener that we purchased. We would highly recommend this company.

My husband called Master Garage Door, based on the almost universally high marks given to the company by Angie's list users. The hype was merited. Eric asked all the right questions, fit us into his schedule and came the next day with everything he needed to fix the door and perform preventive maintenance. He and his assistant were polite, professional and efficient.

He was able to fix it over the phone. He answered our call promptly, walked my husband through the problem and fix quickly, and fixed it with him over the phone for no charge. An incredibly helpful and classy professional.

Eric came out to my house and he was awesome. He's knowledgable, personable and went out of his way to try and keep the repair as cheap as possible... and he did! Not only that but he didn't charge me for a follow-up visit. This was the reason I joined Angie's List -- to find great people to do great work at great prices. Thanks, Eric!

I just bought the house and not being used to having an automatic gate, I backed into the gate and knocked it off the track. :( The gate itself was not damaged, but I figured that was a sign that I needed to have the gate and opener maintained anyway. I called Eric and he offered to come out the same day. I was busy and asked him to come the next day and he fit me in around other clients. Very nice and kept in touch to confirm and verify the appointment. Eric arrived early. He did a great job and now the gate runs smoothly and quietly. He took the time to ensure that it was adjusted correctly and stops at exactly the best positions to keep the gate working well. He cleaned and oiled the chain and verified that the opener was in good condition. I will definitely use his services again!

I called Erik on Friday evening. After describing the situation, I was able to text him photos of the issue and he agreed to stop by first thing Saturday morning. He called prior to arriving, assessed the situation and offered a few options including costs for each. Once we agreed on an option, he finished the repair and did some general maintenance to the track, spring, and sensors and was finished within an hour. I greatly appreciated his promptness, professionalism and honesty. I would highly recommend his services.

Called at 5:50 PM on a Friday, arrived at 8:30 PM that evening and the garage door was working at 10:30 PM. Without this fabulous service a would have not been able to open the garage door. Both cars were in the garage so I would not be able to go anywhere on the weekend.

After my garage door opener broke, Eric came out the same day to assess the problem. He came the very next morning and replaced the unit. This is the second time I have used his services and once again he did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Eric came over on the way to another job to give me a quote. He showed up on time. He offered more than one solution at different price points for replacement vs. repair. Ultimately, he was able to make a creative, quick temporary fix in the interim at a very reasonable cost to me. I will call him when it is time to replace my gate and/or motor.

I was so impressed with his professionalism, willingness to really listen to the problems ( which tended to appear more in hot weather), checked his assumptions with tech support and completed the service, I contacted him on Friday and he was here on Monday!I Eric is friendly, helpful and easy to work with.
