Awesome service, awesome guy. I emailed Master Garage on a Sunday evening, and Eric responded first thing Monday morning. I explained what my garage door was doing, and he explained to me the several reasons as to what could be wrong. I informed him that I was unsure if I should purchase the $49 garage door service or not, not knowing what was wrong with the door. He informed me that he would come to my home for a service charge of $29.00, and any work performed on the door by his company, then the service charge would be deducted from the price. He asked me what a good time for me was, and worked with my work schedule, Tuesday, meeting me at my home around 5:00. What most impressed me about Eric was how personable he was, after the pleasantries, he got right to work, but kept me informed as he performed the assessment of the door, and while doing some minor fixes. My garage door was brand new, but my weight lifting bar rolled under it while coming down, and ever since, it hugged the top molding very close, detaching it and creating a gap in the plastic molding, visible from the outside of the garage. Eric checked the entire system, adjusted the molding, re-attached the molding, oiled and re-adjusted the wheels on the door, and cleaned the dirt and finger prints from the molding. Very professional. He informed me that I had nothing to worry about, and if there were any future problems, to give him a call. When I asked what I owed him, thinking it would be more than the service charge, he looked and stated "$29, the price did not change". Great experience. Angieslist has a winner with this company. I sent emails to 5 companies and got back a variety of bids. Master Garage Doors was tied for the cheapest. All the Angie's list people seemed nice. I also liked Dyer's. Eric was my installer. He called several times to verify the time and amount of money. He showed up during the window we had arranged. The instal took about an hour and a half. He cleaned up when he was finished, and carted away the old machinery. He programed the button in my car. The door works fine. Overall, a perfect experience from bid to finish. The opener I bought is Liftmaster chain drive 1356 1/2hp. It works fine, but I have a few minor niggles with it. It is not much quieter than the old Stanley it replaced, and I thought chain openers had improved in that respect. It came with a few extras, the outdoor security panel, which works fine. Also, my old opener would trigger with a quick push on the car button, where as this unit requires you to hold the button in for about a second. The old unit had two lightbulbs, this new one has just one. Like I said, minor stuff. The unit does what it was designed to do very well, and at a reasonable price. So I was very happy with my experience using Master Garage Doors and Gates.

Master returned my called promptly and came out the same day. He checked out the old opener and all parts. The parts would be difficult and expensive to obtain and the motor was 15 years old. It was not in working condition. Eric explained each step of the way, showed us the broken parts and why the door wasn't working. He told us all the options and when we made our choice he said he could replace it the next morning. Eric came on time, had everything he needed to replace the opener. He was friendly and knowledgable but not "chatty". He explained how everything worked, how to "override" if necessary, what to mail in to register the opener. He also reprogramed our old opener. He left his number and mentioned several times that we should call if we had any questions.

I highly recommend Eric Moalem of Master Garage Doors and Gates. Eric did an outstanding job from start to finish. Our new garage doors look fantastic and function perfectly. Eric recently replaced our old hinged garage doors with two new roll-up doors and openers and the results are truly outstanding. Because of the way our garage was originally designed, changing over from hinged doors to roll-up doors required some carpentry work. Eric is a knowledgeable problem solver and made sure that that work was done correctly. He even drove back out a second time before the installation to answer more questions and make sure everything would be perfect. I also appreciate how he patiently took the time to make sure I understood all my garage type options and prices. He does not pressure sell. He is a kind person. You can tell he is only concerned with making his customers truly happy with the outcome. Eric made everything easy and worry free. He also programmed new remote control openers and a keypad. The end results are two beautiful garage doors that work perfectly. Everything is rock solid, perfectly aligned, and operates very smoothly. The installation was done right, and is built to last. These are the best garage doors I have ever seen. Eric stands out as talented. He is naturally detailed orientated toward creating excellent and top notch quality work. He is dependable, honest, very professional, skilled, and exceptionally helpful. I highly recommend him and I am very happy with my new beautiful garage doors!

Everything went very well with Master Garage Doors & Gates. This is the first time I used one of these Big Deals and they were very quick and very prompt in contacting me after I purchased the Big Deal.

I had tried everything I knew to do -- checked the circuit breakers, checked the wire connections. It was just dead. The guy from Master Garage showed up. Tested the circuit, then plugged it back in and like magic it just worked again. He explained that it was old and probably just reset after being unplugged. So I really can't review how good he was at repair. Only that he was polite, came when he said he would and didn't try to sell me a new motor or anything like that. So he was very honest.

Great communication and follow up. Worked hard to fit my schedule. Solid work as described in the agreement. Would use again and recommend to others.

Eric provided excellent service. He did far more than he actually charged for. He was pleasant, punctual and, above all provided quality work. I highly recommend him for his superior work.

I called Master Garage Doors and Eric, the owner, answered the phone. I told him the problem, and that my wife was stuck at home waiting for hopefully someone to come out and fix the garage. We could close it manually, but it was heavy for her to lift up. He said he would be there in an hour, and he was. He diagnosed the problem as both a faulty wire and the two sensors were not lined up correctly, so that the garage door sensed an obstruction that was not there. He fixed the problem in less than an hour, and charged us a very reasonable fee. My wife told me he was very courteous and explained everything to her. She said we will use Eric from now on.

PERFECTION. Eric called me to set up a time only an hour after I had contacted the company. Even though this was not an emergency, he was at my house the following day. He was very prompt, very polite and totally professional. He listened intelntly while I told him about a couple of issues I'd had with the door. He showed me where my sensors were slightly off and a little loose and thus the door would stop part way down the tracks, but only intermittently. He tightened up everything, lubricated the unit correctly (he explained overdoing it would attract dust and dirt) and checked all the basic tracks, rollers and motor. After completeion when I pushed the button to operate the door, it was actually exciting! The door closed with no jerks, pauses and just made a smooth gliding sound like a fine german engine! SMOOTH!! Eric made no attempt to upsell me on anything. The cost was exactly what I'd been quoted. I asked him when i should next schedule maintenance and he said, "DO NOT overdo it! about a year and a half". How refreshing to meet someone who takes pride in his wor and cares about the customer and the garage door itself rather than the almighty dollar. This is truly as good as it gets. Thank you Eric

I ordered my Angie's list coupon and not more than 30 mins had passed whenEric from Master Garage Doors & Gates called me. He asked when I would like to use my coupon and I set an appointment with him for 3pm today. Eric arrived right on time and when I asked if we needed to replace the garage door, he assured me that making certain adjustments to the door just may do the trick. Sure enough he was right with the correct adjustments, tightening the lose screws and door brackets, and lubrication of the open rail, hinges and brackets and our garage door was back to its previous working order!:) Thanks so much!

I signed up for the Angie's List special deal on a Saturday morning, and the job was completed by that afternoon! Eric arrived on time, serviced two doors for the price of one, and didn't charge extra for a weekend visit. I would definitely use Master Garage Doors again!

DEFINITELY USE MASTER GARAGE DOORS....make sure you get the one on( Ventura Blvd). 1-800-966-4350 I had actually priced out a door with Mesa, Home Depot and Garage Envy and came across Eric by accident. I was actually going to make the deal with someone else at 6 when they said please just meet with him. I contacted him and he met me at 4 and needless to say was polite, thorough, and very professional. Knew everything you could possibly ask about garage doors, had samples and quoted me my price! I signed up immediately....and needless to say the price was right and 2 days later when the door came in he put it in with perfection! It is simply amazing and so quiet you can't even hear it go up or down. And of course he warranty's his work. I can't believe it's my house it made such a beautiful addition. To start Eric showed up on time for our initial appointment. He provided a very reasonable price especially after there we problems with the framing. He and his crew were on time to install the garage doors. As it turns out the framing was off (no fault of Eric). They couldn't install the doors that day until the framing was corrected. Eric spent at least an hour working with me to come up with a solution to solve a mistake that was caused by someone else. He called repeatedly to check up on the progress of the corrections. He came back once the framing was corrected and installed the doors. His crew didn't rush installing the doors. They took their time ensuring everything was working properly. They delivered exactly what he said he would plus they helped solve a problem! What a great contractor. I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was working with Eric and his crew. Eric won't tell you what you want to hear. He will tell you what he can do and he will do it. That is very refreshing. He is honest, reliable and to top if all off, he is a very nice person. If only all contractors were like him. Yes I would use Eric again and I refer him to anyone that needs Gates and Garage Doors.

It went super! He was on time, like he said he would be. He worked pretty fast and very well. He also explained how the new door worked and cleaned up! He even offered to help me move back the stuff in the garage. I was so pleased with his service! I definitely would recommend him to friends and would definitely hire him again in the future.

I was searching to replace my garage door and opener. I called master garage doors and gates they came the same day and show me some doors samples and also give me some information about openers. Two days later I decided to call and order the garage door and opener from them. They came give me an invoice and the next day they install my new door and opener. I love my new door and I am happy that I choose them; they were quick , reliable , and very professional. they also give me wireless keypad no extra charge as a hollyday gift.
