It was a pleasure dealing with Eric...repairing a 30 year old garage door was not a simple task, especially in a garage packed with belongings. Eric was able to schedule me the day following our call; arrived within the window he promised....we agreed a price which i consider was fair for the materials and the time he was here. He was very courteous, professional and deleivered exactly what was promised....very happy with the service and would absolutely use him again

Eric was on time (even though I couldn't be home from work until 6:30 pm), was very courteous and professional. He quoted a fair price and told me exactly what he would do. The troubleshooting, checkout and maintenance took about 1 hour, and was very thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend Master Garage to friends and neighbors.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Eric. My car was locked in the garage. I called, he switched an appointment, came right away at night and changed the manual lock (we lost the keys) for access. He carefully demonstrated how to manually open the door and had me do it to make certain I would do it correctly. Since I was so impressed with his professionalism and honesty, I asked about replacing my 13+ year old motor. He came back the following day, spent 4 hours installing a new motor securely and correct;ly, showing us where the original installer cut corners.

Eric was extremely professional and a joy to work with. He called when he said he would and then arrived at the scheduled time. He worked quickly and neatly and answered all our questions patiently. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone needing garage door work.

Just like the reviews that prompted me to call him, we are really pleased with Eric's service. I called about noon on Saturday and arranged for him to come on Monday (he actually volunteered to come the same day). He gave me a price on the phone after explaining the alternatives and suggested that the least expensive alternative was appropriate for the type of door we had. He showed up exactly on time and did more than he was asked to or had to do (tuning up the springs, etc.) and was very pleasant and completely professional, taking the extra time to explain how to make the built-in remote in my car work after asking if I had one. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the chain two days later; he promised to come the next day although he was fully booked, and then later called to ask if there would be someone home at 5 pm so he could do the work the same day, and had us up and running very quickly. He clearly cares about providing excellent service at an excellent price and we will certainly call him again if the need arises and recommend him to anyone who needs his services.

I would highly recommend this company and the wonderful man that did his utmost to fix a tired old door/.opener to like new condition. He worked overtime and come back late at night to fix the problem the day before I really needed it. I will no doubt use this company again in the near future to fix another problem I am having on a different door.

I called Eric to explain the problem and he said he could come by in one hour. He arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He did an inspection and explained thoroughly what needed to be done. He had all the parts with him and had the job completed right away. Contacted Eric during off-hours to schedule with an appointment to repair a commercial-grade garage gate that had detached and fallen off the track. He showed up on time next morning, diagnosed the problem, and was able to repair the gate and motor on the same day. He was very thorough, professional, respectful, and polite. We had a good experience dealing with Master Garage Doors & Gates.

Eric kept in touch with us by cell phone to keep us updated as to when he would arrive. I realize that a job can take longer than anticipated and I appreciated that he kept us updated by phone as his time of arrival changed. He gave us a price when he arrived and honored the price even though the job took more time and manpower than he originally thought. When he was finished, he lubricated the door wheels and brackets and said that should be done once a year. He pointed out some things about our garage door. It is hard for us to know how the price would compare to others because we really did not have time to do comparison shopping for this repair with our garage door stuck not fully closed and a busy day of commitments to attend to later that day. I relied on Angie's List to find someone with excellent reviews in this category in our neighborhood. Eric seems to value his satisfied customers and his high rating on Angie's List and it is important to him and his business and that meant a lot. Our garage door now opens and closes smoother and quieter than before it went off track. We are hopeful that the door will continue to function well for a long time.

My garage door was stuck in an open position and would not close. I called Eric at Master Garage Door late that afternoon to schedule an appointment. He said that he would not be able to arrive until 6-7 P.M. I was pleasantly surprised when he arrived at 5:30 P.M. He told me that my garage door was in a manual position and needed to be restored to automatic which he did. He also, lubricated and serviced my garage door. Eric is very personable and professional. He does excellent work. I would highly recommend Master Garage Door for all your garage door needs!

Eric came and gave my garage doors a tune up. My garage doors are slightly noisy, so I had some concern. Eric assured me that the noise was normal and that nothing needed to be changed, which was great to know. He pointed out that the springs were contributing to the noise, but recommended leaving them since they were working perfectly. He could have told me to change them to make it quieter, but he didn't try to up-sell me on repairs that didn't need to be made. I feel that is always a great sign of trustworthy service. He lubed all the parts that needed lubing, adjusted the sensitivity of the door closing and safety features, which were a bit off. He explained everything while he was doing it. He also serviced my 2nd garage door even though only one door was part of the service that I pre-payed for. It turns out he also does front door entry systems (such as door king - which I have as well), and will be calling him should I need that or my garage doors serviced. I am very happy with Master Garage Door and Gates.

They are terrific. They were great. They were right on time. They came the same day I purchased the big deal. They were very professional in their presentation and they inspired confidence because you know sometimes you can hire the wrong people and they break it rather than fix it and I was so confident. He did not try to over sell me anything which I really like. He was very polite and the work quietly and professionally. I watched him a little bit sitting in the house and he basically took his time and he oiled all of the hinges where there was squeaking and then he tightened some of them then he loosened it still the door was perfectly lined up so they open and closed properly and then when he was done, he said okay that is it and he asked for the brochure and asked it would be okay if he put one of the company stickers on the garage door. I said absolutely he didn't just do it some guys just put it there and you find it there whether you gave permission or not. He was very polite and requested permission I said absolutely go ahead with the sticker because I would know who to call. They did a good job. They create a situation where you would want to call them back so I was very impressed with them and I would use them again in the future.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went very well. He did a very good job and it was reasonable. I would recommend him to anybody. I was very satisfied. He came when he said.

Eric arrived promptly when he said he would. He examined our garage door and quoted us a price to fix it. He also said that the springs did not match and that we would eventually have to replace both of them. Rather than have the garage door messed up and need another repair in the future, we opted to have Eric put in the new springs, too. He worked hard at our job even though we could tell he was feeling under the weather. He finished the job in a couple of hours and our garage door worked better than it has in the 2 years we have lived here. We highly recommend Eric. He was highly professional and pleasant as well.

My garage door was clunking, getting stuck part-way up and got to the point where I hated to open it. Master Garage Door showed up at the scheduled time and had everything he needed with him. He knew what was causing the problem and adjusted the tracks, spring tension and motor which was not part of the service. He then lubed the wheels and made sure everything was working correctly. There was no additional charges for the extra work. Now my door works better then when it was new since the original installers did not do it correctly. I will definitely use Master Garage Door for any future garage door work.

Eric called me within hours of my purchase of the service, and was at my house that very afternoon. He was very professional, friendly and courteous, got to work right away, and promptly completed the service. This was my first Angie's List purchase, and I am very happy with the deal and the service. Will definitely use this company again.

Just adding mine to all the other excellent reports on this company. Eric called-back, showed up on time, measured carefully. He returned with his installers to consult about the best choice of door and method of installation. The old peeling door was the original one that came with the house built in 1947. It was very heavy and replacement hardware for it is no longer available. The new door looks great and is a huge improvement, since we are now able to lift it open with no problem. Eric and his installers arrived first thing in the morning, and within a couple of hours the whole thing was done, the old door hauled away with not so much as flakes of paint left behind. A very positive experience. I would definitely recommend them.

We were having trouble getting the garage door to go all the way up and stay up. After Eric's repair the door works like it did when we first had it installed. Eric was wonderful. He was able to come out the same day I called him. He was prompt, explained (up front), what he would be doing and cleaned up when he was finished. It was a pleasure dealing with an honest person and I would use him again in the future.
