Found Eric on Angie's List, made an appt. He showed up on time later in the day. (Our extremely dbl HEAVY 55 yr old garage door was broken & had collapsed.) Eric explained present day garage doors....showed us choices from a brochure. We appreciated suggestions .Eric instills confidence & knowledge about garage doors/systems. Usually we get at least 2 or 3 bids but Eric was so thorough explaining everything in his meeting with us, we felt very confident to have him do our work after giving us an estimate at our first meeting. He did say he was not the cheapest. Two days later he showed up on time, analyzed the situation once we were able to remove the old heavy door & get inside of the garage. He had said he might have unanticipated work to do if he saw this after getting inside the garage. He set a reasonable cap on any extra charges at that time. Today the work was done...excellent detailed explanation on "how to work" it all. We are an older couple & Eric was very kind and patient with us. He hauled away our old door and some wooden shelves that had to be removed. He cleaned up after himself and left the garage cleaner than when he arrived . :) He did extra work that was needed as he had mentioned earlier. Eric DID NOT add on any extra charges. We tried to pay him an extra amount but he absolutely would not accept it. Eric is honest--fair--& aims to please ! He is an easy person to talk with. He is professional. He is proud of his work & so are we. We will always be happy to recommend Eric---Master Door and Gates. We feel very fortunate to have found Eric to do our work . These guys are the best. Eric went above and beyond to get our garage doors fixed as soon as possible at a fair price. He worked quickly and efficiently, had all the work done within a few hours, as he promised. He didn't try to swindle me for anything, which has happened with other similar companies, and I trust that the work was done properly. I will only call him from now on if anything else should go wrong.

Our old garage doors finally broke down - forever. Eric from Master Garage Doors and Gates came to our place immediately, even though the work day was technically long over. The garage door had completely detached from its rails and there was a two foot gap on one side that left us with a pressing security issue. Eric temporarily released our old door so that it would shut properly, and then began taking measurements for the new replacement doors. He came prepared with brochures for replacement options, and we selected our style and color. He did not try to pressure us into choosing a more expensive option. He told us that he could start the work in two days, time that we needed to replace some of the surrounding framework for the new doors. He called before coming out for the installation, and he arrived on time with his workers to oversee the project himself. At the end of the day, Eric showed us how to work everything, and took the time to program all of our remotes in our cars for us so that we wouldn't have to muddle through the manual by ourselves. He told us to call if we had any questions or concerns and he would be happy to help. He also called a week later to follow up and make sure that we were satisfied with the work. He and his team left our garage as tidy as they had found it, and kept to their promises on time , quality, and pricing. It's almost a shame that we don't need another garage door, because working with Eric and Master Garage was such a pleasant, easy experience. Our doors look fabulous and function perfectly. When we need a new gate, this is the company we will be calling.

Very helpful on the phone, on time, pleasant in person. I needed a professional's unbaiest openion and I got it.

The gate has a glitch in the system because of the weight of the gate. It's very heavy so when you enter the code twice or when its moving, it will get stuck. Eric was great in responding. Very punctual and professional for next day service. He fixed the problem and recommended how to avoid future issues. He's very informative and will def. hire again!

He answered my call immediately, late Friday afternoon, and arrived promptly at my house at 9:00a.m. on Saturday. He was very detailed and thorough, and even checked the other mechanical parts of the garage door to make sure that it is operating smoothly. He is very professional, and cleaned up everything afterwards. The service was excellent and I will be calling Eric for all my future garage door repairs. I would definitely recommend this company.

Contacted Master Garage Door and talked to Eric regarding my garage door which was damaged and probably needed replacing. After discussing my issue we made an appointment for him to come to see what was involved and after arriving he evaluated the door and agreed it needed replacing.Eric is very informative and explained the options available for me and the various garage doors available.He was very comfortable to talk with concerning pricing and when we were done I was not only satisfied with the price but he made assurances of the work being performed and the time frame that the work would be completed. Eric showed up on the day of installation on time and he wasted no time in doing the work agreed upon.He obviously has done this work many times before but I was surprised that he could dismantle my old garage door and motor and everything else and then put in a new complete arrangement in such a reasonable amount of time. Eric completed the installation of the garage door and then instead of handing me the Manual of operation he went over every aspect of the use of the unit including the keypad and other options that might come about in time. After he had briefed me on useage he showed me the manual and gave me the warranty information to complete and send to the manufacture..Eric double and triple checked everything to make sure every aspect of the unit worked properly and when he was done he cleaned up completely after himself and he even offered to help put any of my personal belongings back to where they were prior to the door instal!wow! Great service and quality work!

I have called Eric in the morning for an evening appt, and he showed up on time & very professional. Garage door was at least 10 yrs old, original Spring was broken and the door is not operable. He recommended to replace single spring with Double springs which is much safer, straightened the garage tracks, Tune- up of the garage. After the service, the noise level is very minimal. He had noticed that the chain drive isn't stable, so he went above and beyond to make sure to put extra metal pieces to secure the motor and chain drive. He has shared tips on the general maintenance and safety checks that need to be done periodically. Overall, extremely happy with the service, a little pricey but very good quality and he didn't haggle on other items he found to fix. He simply fixed it.

Very nice guy - owner of the company. Gave me a run-down not only on the current state of my garage door, but also on how to properly maintain the life of it & what warning signs would be if the motor went or if one of the springs went & cost associated with those things. He was very thorough & very courteous. I will absolutely be working with this company in the future.

There is a reason that it is called Master Garage. Eric is a master! But more than knowing all of the ins and outs of garage doors...he was responsive, on time, patient when explaining our issue, courteous and...extremely fair. Not only did Eric repair the garage door he made a point to return to our home to program the home link in my car when I got home from work...4 hours later!! Lets face it, when we call on these kinds of service professionals we are totally at their mercy. I have complete faith in Eric and Master and would recommend his company to anyone who asks. Which I guess I just did with you if you are reading this review. A total class act, totally trustworthy and reliable. What more could I ask for!?

I came home Friday night and my garage door wouldn't close. I kept trying to get the motor to do its job and then the door fell off the tracks. I called them up Saturday morning and Eric came out around 3pm the same day to take a look. He managed to bring the door down properly and started fixing everything. After 3 hours the garage door was back to normal. The tracks were adjusted inwards after a bad install, a bearing was replaced on both sides that was improperly installed and now the garage door functions better than before. Eric also grinded down a piece of metal on the metal gate adjacent to the garage so it would close properly. Everything was left clean and nothing was left behind. At the end of the day I'm glad I called them and they did an excellent job. In the future I will contact them for repairs and when its time to replace the garage door they'll be the first people I'll call.

After determining that I would probably need a handyman/painter to just correct some issues, Eric told me that he would be able to service my electric gate in the future. We determined at that time that he would service the gate immediately, which including cleaning up of the chain and rollers, maintenance to the engine, etc. The gate is now running much smoother than it was previously. He was totally honest and upfront during the entire service call. Would absolutely use him again for any garage/gate needs as well as refer him to anyone looking for a garage/gate company!

They are excellent people. They are on time. They have excellent followup service. Excellent responsiveness, sheer delightful people, competent. I just can't say enough about them.

Extremely satisfied with the polite, prompt, knowledgeable service we received. I was very impressed that he was able to come out right away and was not pushy or confusing. I felt the fee was very reasonable. When we do replace our garage door, we definitely plan on using him.

Everything went extremely well. Eric was prompt, professional and a great guy. He responded to my email (with a phone call within 7minutes..., on a Friday night!) He arrived on time the next day (Saturday) and replaced my broken garage door opener. When he completed the install he programmed the built in garage door opener button on my car, my wife's car, and my daughters car! I did not expect this level of customer service, but I was so pleased that he offered this service with out me asking. I HIGHLY recommend Master Garage Door and Gate. I purchased my house a couple of years ago, and I worried that the old garage door would malfunction (it did so when I first moved in). Thus, I thought a tune-up would be a good idea. Eric came on time and was very professional. He let me know that my door, opener and springs were functional but quite old. He also explained how the opener worked (that may seem pretty obvious, but I was happy to have someone review this with me, since the previous owner was confused about the various buttons). He also explained why the door might have malfunctioned in the past and what to do if something happens to the door in the future (basically, to call him). I now have a reliable service provider that I can go to in an emergency, and I plan to budget to replace my garage door and opener in the next couple of years. I would definitely recommend Eric to others.

I called Eric at 10:15 as my garage door would no longer open. He came out within a half hour to evaluate the problem and determined the unit needed to be replaced. He clearly described the options I had for a new unit and returned to my house within an hour with the unit to install. While installing the new opener, he discovered the old system was poorly mounted and was not safely secured to the garage. Eric showed me the issue and gave me several options on how to proceed. After Eric finished, he cleaned the entire area and programmed my car for the new remote. The garage now opens better than ever and makes 1/3 the sound it made prior to the appointment.

Perfect. I called at 4:00 on a Saturday - Eric arrived by 5:00 and was done by 7:00. Thanks Eric - you saved the wekend!

Eric is a delightful person and very, very helpful. He mentioned that his business is very nearby and if I had any problems, he could be here quickly. I certainly will depend on Eric for any garage door issues in the future!

Our garage door opener broke on New Years Eve. On New Years Day we called a couple of providers on Angie's List and left messages. Eric of Master Garage Door answered his phone and cheerfully offered to come right over notwithstanding it was a holiday after having me try some troubleshooting steps. After looking our opener over he determined that we needed a new motor and promised to return the next day. Eric installed a new motor and did some general maintenance work on our garage door hinges and springs. He also programed the HomeLink remotes in both our cars. One car was not receptive to reprogramming so Eric said he would call HomeLink the next day and return. He refused to take payment until the job was completely done to our satisfaction. The next day Eric returned and quickly programmed our second car's remote. Additionally, he offered to help out with a handyman type project without charge. Eric did not charge for the initial service call, nor did he charge extra for coming out on a holiday. We highly recommend Master Garage Door & Eric and we would most definitely use his services again. He was consistently professional, courteous, punctual, and was a nice person.
