Eric is the ONLY person you need to call to fix or install your garage door! He is HONEST and knowledgeable, and provides quality work. On a holiday, he came within 30 minutes of my call, then had my garage door fixed within an hour or so. It is clear that he is extremely hard working and efficient.

Within 90 minutes of the first phone call Eric was at the house assessing the problem. This was after 7 pm. He was amazing, he fixed the problem right there for a reasonable estimate and also corrected possible future problems. He worked for almost 3 hours. He was nice, professional, and very detail oriented. I will definitely use him again, should problems arise in the future. Had another different problem a year later, 10 minutes (not exaggerating) Eric was there fixing the problem, can't say enough good things about this company and Eric himself.

We join all the others in praising the work that Eric does. He came out the same day that we called him. We asked him to take a look at our garage door, opener, and springs. He is very low key and told us that we did not need to replace anything at this time. When do you hear that from someone who comes out to your house! We asked him to give us different options to replace the door and opener, mainly because it was apparent that the opener would not last much longer. He explained the different possibilities, not pressuring us to choose the most expensive. We went with the LiftMaster 3240. Eric worked on replacing what we had, then explained the sensor system, release cord, and push button options. He had us try out everything until we felt comfortable. We will definitely call him if we need a new door. Our experience could not have been better!

The provider was very prompt in responding to our phone call for an estimate but slightly late for the initial appointment. His work was very good but he did make a big mistake in telling us to relocate an electrical switch before the garage door was installed. This did not need to be done. He felt that the difference in style/size of the very old garage door would necessitate moving the switch to accommodate the new door. We did this and it was a lot of work and cost us time and money. After the door was installed, it turned out the light switch did not have to be moved. Overall, the provider was very professional and polite, the garage door removal/installation itself was very good and done quickly. He underbid Home Depot. His price also included replacing the springs on another garage door so we felt it was a very good value. I am guessing at the cost of service, it was done at my sister's house and I don't recall exactly what she paid. We just shopped for and arranged for the service and know that his bid was lower than Home Depot.

Went great. We will use him again when we need to replace our wooden garage door.

I called Eric earlier in the week to place an appointment for a Saturday install. At the time was I already fed up with my old garage door opener and I knew it was time for replacement. He gave me quotes on 3 different types of garage door openers from your standard chain, screw or belt driven openers. I opted for a screw drive for the install. Eric said he would follow up with a call Friday afternoon to confirm again that the appointment was for Saturday between 10a-12pm which he did. Saturday came and Eric called saying he had trouble locating a screw drive opener but he was working on finding one if not he would reschedule for Monday. I appreciated Eric calling me, keeping the line of communication open is important so you can really understand what was going on. Eventually Eric was able to find the opener i requested and he was still able to come around the time we had scheduled. I was hanging out with Eric during the install and he was explaining me to me how everything works and explaining the process of the install. We made small talk as well and I can tell you he's a honest, genuine, and hardworking guy who will go out of his way to make sure the customer is happy with his work. After the install he was also able to program all my remotes as well as configure my remote access in my car. I couldn't be more happier with the outcome. Thanks Eric!

I called because the equipment suddenly started making lots of noise, then a wheel came off the track. After I reinstalled the wheel, the door failed to properly open. Eric came out late that same afternoon, and could have made the equipment work by changing the motor's settings. But the motor was clearly dying, so we replaced it with a new motor and assembly. As these things always do, it took longer than anticipated, but Eric completed the task that same evening. And he's a pleasant fellow. As to price: he said he's neither the highest nor the lowest. I looked up what I'd paid for the Genie motor and assembly some years earlier, and his price seemed, based on that, fair.

Eric did an outstanding job! He was able to come within 24 hours of my first contact with him - we discussed the job over the phone and he gave me an estimate during that discussion. He arrived exactly when he said he would the next day, and quickly, cleanly and professionally removed my old broken door opener and installed the new one and its accessories, and programmed our car remotes as well! Eric really did a wonderful job, and I will absolutely use him again when we are ready to upgrade our door and gates!

Arik provided phenomenal customer service. I had called on Saturday to inquire and told him that I was still trying to reach the original person who installed our gate and would get back to him if we were going to schedule. Arik called me back in the early evening to just follow-up and make sure that I found a solution because he could tell in my voice that I was stressed. We wound up scheduling with Arik / Master Garage & Doors to come out the next morning. He was right on time, incredibly professional, fast to repair our gate and didn't recommend any parts or work that was not necessary. We were so happy that we asked him for an estimate to make additional improvements to our property including the installation of an easy evacuation gate. We couldn't recommend him enough!

Came a little before expected. Told me the motor was not working well (also very old) and gave me the option of fixing the old one for low price, or replacing it. I replaced it. He attached the new motor to a higher more stable beam in garage, cleaned/lubricated the springs, showed me how the mechanism works and what it meant when certain things might happen (blinking lights). Reminded me that there was a push button control that I had forgotten. I bought an extra remote and he gave me a discount on the project because of my membership. One of the nicest professionals I've met.

Eric was great! He explained my options for my 1940's home. He was amazing with the details. He listened to all of my concerns and figured out the best way to address them. He was in constant communication and we knew we were in good hands. He was on site for the entire installation. I would highly recommend him. We ended up with a quiet and beautiful door.

I was so happy with the work that Master Garage Door and Gates did last week. The spring on my garage door broke and my car was stuck inside. I called Master Garage Door and Gate, and Eric answered and he was willing to come over after hours when he finished the job he was working on, and not charge me extra. He showed up on time, and did a great job. Even though it was late, he took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Although he did not have the correct spring on his truck, he put one in that allowed me to get my car out and he returned the next day (right on time) and put the proper spring in. The door works perfectly and his price was very reasonable. He inspected the other door and made sure everything was lubricated and working properly. Eric went out of his way to tighten bolts that were loose, offer to move an alarm sensor that was too close to the spring, and do anything necessary to do the job right. I appreciated his honesty and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Eric to anyone I know, and will use him again.

I bought a new garage door opener from Home Depot and I wanted Eric to put it in. The garage door opener was a belt driven opener. When Eric came over he told me the rail was too long and he could not cut it without weakening the rail. I inspected the rail and he was right. The reason why I wanted to replace the opener was because the opener would sporadically work with the remote. Eric tried to extend the antenna but that did not work. He suggested a Lift Master opener which he was carrying and could install. He did not apply any pressure. He even said I can shop around. I was tired of the opener so I asked him to replace it. He boxed the one I bought and he proceeded to install the new opener. It was difficult because the joist went down in the middle of the garage and needed to be mounted on the side of the joist so he had to cut the rail just right to fit it in. He spent a long time to door at it's maximum height. He spent around 5 hours working on the job. He also programmed my car and explained how to register for the warranty.

Eric was punctual and professional. He took the time to explain every step to me as he worked. He lubricated the garage door, adjusted spring tension, tightened lose screws, and adjusted the force on the door opener. He even checked and lubricated a second garage door. I would definitely call Master Garage Doors and Gates again.

After hearing a loud bang when the spring broke in the morning and realizing I would not be able to get my car in our out of the garage I needed help quick. Eric Moalem was very responsive to my needs and worked out his schedule to come out and fix the door that same day. He showed up on time and was very informative with what needs to be done and why. Replaced both springs in just under an hour and I was good to go! I would definitely recommend Eric due to his quick response, professionalism and quality work!

Eric answered the phone himself. We arranged for him to come to my home within the hour. He diagnosed and repaired my garage door opener, which had been operating very erratically, not to mention noisily and with disconcerting wobble. Eric was most pleasant as well as very knowledgeable. He pointed out that my garage door opener (a Genie) was quite old and might need replacement sooner rather than later. However, he was not pushy when I elected repair rather replacement. He did want to make clear that warranty of the current repair did NOT include any other/separate part that might break in the future. I suspect people have made unreasonable demands in that regard. My garage door operates perfectly now, with less noise and wobble than in the entire 10 years I have lived here.

What a pleasure dealing with this company and Eric. All of the positive reviews are accurate in describing the quick responsiveness, the professionalism, and the accuracy of the work. He responded to email and phone calls within the hour, scheduled immediately, arrived promptly, and set about repairing the door at the least possible cost to the consumer. He communicates the cause of the problem and outlines possible solutions very clearly. Eric even helped me find and correct a hidden carbon monoxide detector that had been going off in the garage for weeks.

Master Garage Doors & Gates delivered a new, affordable and high quality garage door (15? x 7?) in July including a new Lift Master opener (3240M 1/2HP). We found Master on Angie?s List proudly displaying their Super Service Award 2013. We gave them a call and Eric came out and took our order (What a deal!). Within 2 weeks, we had our new door professionally installed. Eric even called a few days before the scheduled install to see if we needed any help moving things around in the garage so there wouldn?t be anything in the way during installation. He volunteered to come out and help!!! The day of the installation, Eric and Hector arrived on time and within 3 hours had the new door and opener installed and the old garage door ready to haul away. We are completely satisfied with our experience with Master; we got a great price, top shelf Customer Service, quality products, and professional installation. Eric is very knowledgeable and quoted a fair price for the work needed. He made the appointment and then called to confirm the time within 30 minutes of the agreed time. Prompt and professional. Had all the parts needed to complete the repair on the spot. I will definitely call this company again!

I purchased a Big Deal, received an immediate online response (on a Saturday evening) from the contractor, then soon scheduled within days. Eric arrived on time, made the garage door open more smoothly and took time to explain things very well. I felt he went the extra mile and demonstrated excellent customer service. I definately will use them in the future.

Eric and his crew are very professional. I have called upon his service earlier in 2014. He's punctual and competent. I called him again and the actual cost to repair the gate was lower than the estimate so that's always great. Since he was familiar with the gate, I called upon his service 2 more times in August as the gate was stuck. He responded within 24 hours with great customer service. I would definitely recommend and refer his service to others.

I called needing a repair/maintenance to a loud noise coming from the garage gate door motor. Eric came out within a few hours. He was timely, very professional and not only repaired the issue but did a full scan of the entire gate to ensure there weren't any other potential issues I needed to be concerned about.
