He was excellent. He had the job done quickly. He was very communicative and explained everything, and overall friendly.

I have a 13 year old Craftsman 1/2 hp motor attached to a 4 panel rolling door. It recently started acting possessed... would open and close multiple times after only pressing the remote once. Sometimes it would open half way then close again, open all the way then immediately close and then it finally would only open a few inches, then close.This company sent a technician, Hector, out within 3 hours of my phone call. Thinking I was going to have to buy a new unit, I was pleased to watch Hector dismantle a few parts, then reassemble and adjust the motor back to perfect working order. The cost?... just a standard service fee.I really respect companies that still believe in repair work rather than replacing something at the first sign of a problem... I know this motor can't last forever and when I need a new one, I'm calling these guys...

Service person showed up right on time cleaned everything etc. he never rushed just did a great job

Joe came out and lubed and fixed my three-car garage. He adjusted one of the doors that did not work as well as the others. He also helped me with a third garage door that was not part of the original deal. I talked with him about using him on a yearly basis. Joe was very professional and answered my questions. I would highly recommend him and have already done so.

Overall, the job went very well and was performed quickly, in about a half hour. The technician liberally applied lubricant to each moving part. He also operated the door several times, and examined parts to make sure everything was working smoothly. Even though used a lot of goop, he was very neat and didn't drip anything onto my garage floor. During his inspection, he explained why there was a gap between the closed door and the wall of the garage, and what I could do about it (not much really, because of the way the jab is constructed). He also told me where to get lubricants so that I could do the maintenance myself in about a year. It was a very good experience.

Chose this company because it was close to my home. Initially came for an estimate, but assured me that it was a quick job and he had the parts. Cam first thing in the morning at 7:30am. Replaced the broken torsion coil for my garage door in under half an hour. Quick, professional, and very reliable.

Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome. The representative was courteous and very professional. This guy really knew what he was doing! My only low grade (Price) was based on the fact that I really didn't have a good feel for what something like this should cost. However the convenience of having the door back to normal by 11 AM the morning after the break was worth the cost. I would use this contractor again. Good job Joe and Mario.

I was very happy with the service, esp. considering I called at the last minute on a Saturday! Joe was very accommodating, scheduled me a service for that day. I had called several places before his and it was serendipity that they were either too expensive or didn't have the time for me. So I put my faith in Joe (based on Angie's List) and was happy I did. His price was good, especially considering the timeliness. His tech Mario was fast, nice, and reliable. In fact, the door has never worked more smoothly. I am taking the time to write this because of the others who did so on Angie's List - really important tool for making informed decisions.

Joe was very responsive to my questions and concerns with regards to garage doors, since this is my first home and I don't know much about garage door maintenance. I had asked him a lot of questions about whether or not to replace my garage doors, etc., and he basically told me my garage doors were good and didn't need to be replaced, even though it was an older model that tended to open up slower. I felt he was genuine with me and could have easily tried to sell me on additional garage door services, but actually persuaded me otherwise. I am not sure my garage doors needed the maintenance and tune up, because they seem to be working the same, but I guess the nature of any tune up or maintenance is that you don't necessarily notice significant changes and the point of maintenance is to avoid major difficulties. He seems to offer other services besides garage door work, such as remodeling, so I might use him again to do something else.

Got this company on a Big Deal Coupon. Joe called and made an appointment and showed up as scheduled. He performed the service in a workmanlike fashion to include waiting a bit for us. Very polite and professional

Joe came out to take a look and told me how much it would cost. Then he sent one of his staff to do the installation. Everyone I dealt with, on the phone or in person, was very professional. The price was for a Linear brand opener. They will apparently install other brands for a little more money. The work was done very efficiently and after 2 months I haven't had any problems.

It seemed like he came on time. I didn't have to wait for him or anything. The price was excellent. He took the normal time to adjust it. He was here for about 45 minutes. He was very professional, clean, and neat. I would hire him again.

They advised we that the hardware I was purchasing from them was the very best vs. the hardware I had originally requested. I discovered later that this simply was not true. They mislead me because they wanted to install what they carried in their own stock. After installing garage door opener the device jerked violently, they stated it was because of the opener that I had purchased from Lowes. They were not able to correct the problem. They failed to center my garage door properly. Once they removed my old opener they cut the cord off so that it could never be reused without my permission.

My garage door opener wouldn't close. It would go down 1/5th of the way, then back up. Sometimes it didn't work at all. So annoying! I checked Angie's List for a good company to replace my opener and called for estimate's and they were all around $450.00. That seemed like so much money for the job. Then one day a flyer appeared on my doorstep for Joe Chavez. I figured I'd call and get an estimate. They asked if I had the opener or if I wanted them to bring one. If I had one, it would cost $95.00 to install it. If not, $285.00 for the opener and installation. Wowee!! I booked them right then. Lucy said she'd call back with a time. She called back 5 minutes later and said someone was in my area and could be here in 20 minutes. He arrived right on time, installed the new opener in less than 20 minutes, explained it all to me, cleaned up and couldn't have been nicer. So glad I found Joe Chavez! The door works perfectly and is so much quieter than my other opener. Very pleased with this company.

THEY WERE GREAT. I CALLED AND I GOT A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE. THEY WERE THERE THE NEXT DAY. THEY MEASURED ON A FRIDAY AND THEY INSTALLED ON THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. THEY WERE GREAT.
