i had a project in mind, new water heater installed, all of them had to plan a visit, i just wanted bottom line price, payless came through with a price quote via telephone , dutton's outrageous with 4 X the price for a 1 hour job time, they're embarrassed didn't even collect their consolation charge, still sad that you can't hire someone by the hour instead of the job, THE TECHNICIAN FOR PAYLESS WAS OUTSTANDING

Payless was great. I haven't had to replace my water heater for some time, and was unsure about everything. I needed it done as soon as possible because we were without hot water, but was afraid of paying too much for a rush job. They put my mind at ease, were professional, kind, kept me informed. The technician came the next day, put in the new heater, updated the old set up, which brought it up to code. Done in 2 hours! He was great. The heater is an American made model at a fair price. I didn't have to do a thing. I would highly recommend them.

This was the best plumbing work I have ever had done! They kept me fully informed of Scotty's progress on his previous job, and when I could expect him to arrive. Pricing was good. I am mechanically competent (installed my last water heater myself), and I thoroughly check quality of any work I hire. But with these guys, I was completely unnecessary. Even though they patiently answered all my questions, I could see that I didn't need to be there at all, since they would be providing a first class job regardless. They were efficient, skillful, courteous, and clean. When ready to leave, they even did one more additional detail without hesitation, because I asked about it.

Rick M. was my installer. He arrived on time with a trainee. I had been sent a photo of Rick early that morning with a message that he would arrive shortly. He installed new water heater with all new attachments that brought it up to code plus city permit. Made sure I knew how everything worked before leaving.

I was sold on the idea of the water heater they were providing was an overall better unit, than from another source. I am not sure this is true - it was not one of the high energy effiecient units - along with only having a 6 year warranty. The last 12 yr warranty unit I had was consided not one of the best - lasted 12 years - replaced early to not have an issue. So all those claims I am not sure were true, along with paying more money overall for unit and installtion. Cleanup after the install, was lacking, black insulater material spotted our garage floor. Very messy to clean up - surprised with the pricing and all it was not. Still do not have the inspection and permitting approvals - this was completed several weeks ago.

Gregg, my installer, was very professional and knew what he was doing. I was also very willing to work with me to get the repairs needed to fit into my budget.

They were prompt at informing me their driver hit a bit of traffic andhave me an updated time of arrival, which was only 45 minutes later. The installer was very professional and fast.
