Description of Work: He was late and never provided the plans as he promised. This was a Mother's day gift for my Mom. She told him to provide a refund as nothing had been provided. I was embarrassed that I had given this as a gift. It seems this is a consistent issue with all of the contractors that we have bought services from here on Angie's list. Not sure that we will ever use Angie's list for anything going forward.

Description of Work: They came over to look at my bathroom and design a 3-d rendering for remodeling, which they never did. But they sure called a ton to schedule a remodeling without ever providing the 3-d rendering that I paid for.

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon for the 3D Kitchen Design. At the same time as I was confirming the appointment with the office Tom Muller was calling my home number to cancel our appointment. I called the office and we confirmed an appointment for a different time. Not a good first impression. | |Tom arrived on time which is appreciated. We talked and he seemed very enthusiastic and energetic. I asked questions because I am actually interested in remodeling my kitchen. He talked to me about all the possible finishes and ideas he had for my space and told me he would be back in a couple of weeks with my design. While we were chatting we started talking about cycling and he said that he was going to go riding later that day. Our original appointment was for later that day. Not sure if he cancelled the original appointment to go for a ride or not but it certainly seemed that way to me. | |When Tom arrived to deliver my design he was, again, enthusiastic and brought samples of cabinets, countertops and tiles. I did not request any of this but was happy he brought them and was pleased at the interest he showed in my kitchen. That's where things went south. | |Tom had interpreted my interest in remodeling my kitchen to mean I was ready to do it now and with him. I went so far as to tell him in our first meeting that I had a bad experience with the contractor that did my bathroom and was not keen to start another project for a while. When I reiterated this he became very agitated and even a bit aggressive. He had been very pushy to get me to commit to a date and became upset when I did not. He offered me discounts if I committed right then but I would not. He went so far as to tell me that he did not make second visits and that this was a waste of his time. | |When he became aggressive I became very uncomfortable. He told me that "something happened" to me because I would not commit. I was shocked and could not wait for him to leave. As he was leaving I asked if he wanted my email address so that he could send me my design and he would not take it down but did write his info on a card. Very rude and unprofessional. | |I received my design from "Maya" on April 22nd and requested that they also include the measurements that were used. I am still waiting for a response. | |The only good thing I can say is that Liz in their office is very pleasant and professional. Too bad she can't do my kitchen. | |I will not be hiring Tom or anyone from this company to do anything in my home.

Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal 3-D kitchen plan from Dave's through Angie's List. First appointment was scheduled for 5/6/2014. Dispatcher called and said contractor was caught in traffic. An hour later, called again and said still stuck (highly unlikely). Then contractor called directly. He had been at another appointment-not in traffic-and we had to reschedule. |Contractor came as scheduled on 5/8 and we made follow up appointment to get 3-D plan on 5/26, Memorial Day. We all knew it was a holiday and were assured this was not a problem. On morning of 5/23, dispatcher called to say Monday was a holiday and we said we all knew that. Friday afternoon, dispatcher called to tell us they had to cancel. Company policy prevented holiday appointment. We then called and asked Angie to give us a refund. We would not use Dave's Remodeling for our work. We were inconvenienced and disappointed.

Description of Work: They were supposed to have delivered a graphical representation of a new bathroom design but I never heard back from them after they came for the consult.

Description of Work: We shopped around before deciding on this contractor for our Kitchen restoration. After doing our research they provided a whole new Kitchen that included upgrades-lighting to flooring. They are very professional. Grat quality cabinets, granite counter tops, lights, etc. My husband is a contractor as well and he got impressed by their work.
