the service.I called Ace Appliance when I noticed that my fridge was warm on the inside. Tom was at my home the following morning, ten minutes early (big points for that). He found the problem in a few minutes, and was able to fix it then and there because HE HAD THE PART and didn't have to order it. An hour later my fridge was working. I'm very happy with the service.

Everything went great. Tom came out the first time to assess the situation and order parts. He explained everything thoroughly and gave me an estimate. He came the second time to perform the work. He did everything swiftly and professionally and went the extra mile to make the left door close easier. The work came in a few dollars under the estimate. The lady in the office was very friendly and accommodating of my time in setting the appointments. I chose Ace Appliance due to the excellent reviews that I read on Angie's List. I agree with those reviews and would not hesitate to use this company again.

We called Ace Appliance and spoke with Valerie. She was knowlegeable, friendly and took our information quickly and efficiently. She fit us into their schedule for the next day and we were given a two and one-half hour window. Tom arrived during the first hour and quickly diagnosed the problem as a leaking water line behind the refrigerator. When pulling out the refrigerator, he used plastic pads to protect the hardwood floors. Once out, we could see the refrigerator had been leaking just as he said. Tom thoroughly explained the problem and asked questions about how we used the water dispenser. He then gave us several alternatives to correct the issues but recommended the least expensive solution based on our answers and the age of the refrigerator. We appreciated Tom's knowledge, professionalism, and honesty in dealing with our refrigerator problem. He could have steered us towards the more expensive solution but chose to recommend the one that best fit our situation. Finally, Tom also provided very valuable insight into the useful life of our particular refrigerator and what to look for in the future. We recommend Ace Appliance without reservation and will use them in the future. In chatting with Tom, we mentioned that all our appliances were approximately the same age and having problems, such as our dishwasher which had been fixed twice before by another company. He took one look at it and said what was wrong and why it went wrong...he then told us what the previous repairs had been which was spot on correct. Tom knows his stuff besides being a nice gentleman.

Monty from Ace came out to assess and repair our three year old washing machine which was leaking. Within a few minutes he determined that the problem was a blockage in the drain pipe and that there was nothing wrong with the washing machine itself. He explained this to us and suggested that we might be able to fix it ourselves and that, failing that, we should call a Roto-Rooter type service or a plumber . In the end, we were able to fix it ourselves so our only cost was the charge for the service call. We were very pleased and would definitely call Ace again.The whole story is as above. We could not have been more pleased with the services rendered.

Our dishwasher was making loud grinding and squeaking noises. I contacted Ace about a repair and they were very friendly and helpful for repairing our Bosch. They also referred me to another company for our other appliances. They called the day before the repair to confirm the appointment and showed on time. Tom was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Before making the repair, he informed me of the charges and said he could do it as he had the parts in his truck. After the repair was done in a timely manner, he showed me the wear on the old parts and explained the risk of flooding the kitchen if one of them had failed completely. Dishwasher works quietly now. No more grinding or squeaking. Plus, we repaired it before it could flood the kitchen.

Service person stated it was an electrical problem so I had to pay money to an Electrician to check my power and they found nothing wrong. The receptionist at Ace questioned if the Electrician was licensed and that made me pretty mad.

It went very well overall. The technician arrived, assessed the situation, knew what was the problem, had the part in the truck and he was soon on his way to help someone else. His work was so detailed, he did it all and we are quite happy.

The overall experience was great. Very prompt service. Calls were returned immediately. The people are very professional.

They were excellent, showed up on time, very timely and was done in 30 minutes, and prompt in all ways. He came prepared to fix the problem.

Tom from Ace Appliance Company did a very good job. We were very happy with him. He was willing to try out and see if he could help us out but it didn't work. Our oven needed a part that is no longer manufactured. He came out two times to our house. He charged us only for his first visit. It was a pretty standard price. He came in the second time to inform us that the part was not being manufactured anymore. So, I got our oven replaced. Tom was very thorough. He was very professional. I had confidence in what he was doing. I sometimes feel like these appliance guys try to set one up but I never got that feeling about Tom. He was serious about his job, I appreciate that. He was always on time. He would call us ahead of time to inform us that he is coming. He was well equipped with his tool kit. He did not waste our time; he just went right to work. He really knows what he is doing. I would have him back in my house in the future if required.

I liked his work. If I need to use him again, I will call him. He was good. I guess his diagnosis was right because I had some other people come in and they couldn't find the problem. This guy came in and he figured out the problem. He's knowledgeable about his work and that's about it. I will use his services again in the future.

Monte arrived exactly on time at 1:30, diagnosed the problem immediately and was able to fix the suds and verify the dishwashing cycle. The entire appoint lasted only about 20 minutes! This is the second time I've called Ace Appliance and I would use them again.

When I initially called the office a 'real' person answered. She scheduled an appointment for early the following week. I would have liked it fixed right then but that wasn't possible. The repairman was on-time, knowledgeable, and fast. Only thing I would like to mention is that you must tell/remind them to apply their senior discount. I'd mentioned it on the telephone but neglected to inform the guy on day of service. Once I discovered this, I called their office and, after a bit of back-and-forth discussion, a check for the discount amount quickly arrived in the mail. Thank you!

Tom was persistent in getting the problem fixed. I appreciated that he was willing to come back 3 times, and he only charged me for the one visit. He was fast, competent and ethical. I love that prior to every appointment Valerie calls and gives me a time range. I also appreciated that Tom came back 3 times, and didn't give up until the microwave was fixed. Tom was also very knowledgeable about the microwave, including the details behind the brand, which I found very helpful to know. I feel like I was fairly charged and I am very happy with the work. I called 4 repair companies (all from Angie's list); Ace was the only one who called me back. And you know what? I'm glad! They are wonderful and I highly recommend them. Thank you Tom and Valerie!

When I called the person was very courteous and helpful. They called to confirm the day before and gave me a 2 hour window for the service. The technician even called when they were 30 minutes away so I could meet them at my home!! I had them come out for my leaking washing machine,thinking that a hose was loose or needed to be replaced. Turns out that I have a clogged drain that needs to be cleaned. So no service was actually performed. The service visit cost $59.95.

The repair went speedily, the result was successful, and we even got our water filter replaced for less that if we had purchased it at the store. As for our dishwasher, we were unsure if it was functioning, so the technician evaluated it and determined that it was in fine working order and no parts were necessary. Another pleasant surprise!

All I can say is WOW, these guys are great! The lady on the phone was courteous, and returned my call with the scheduling information when she said she would. The repairman showed up at exactly 9 AM even though I was given a 2 hour window. He identified the problem, gave me an estimate, told me he had the parts in the truck, and 20 minutes later he had replaced the pump, cleaned up the area, and was on his way. I will definitely be using them again the next time something breaks.

Tom arrived on time, was clean and neat, and well organized. He had clearly done this before, and finished in 35 minutes. He re-assembled the cooktop, and thoroughly tested all functions, even ones he had not worked on. The service was excellent, from start to finish.

I searched online and they had very positive reviews. When I spoke with them on the phone they were really terrific in terms of planning a date for their service to accommodate our busy schedule. They did everything they said they would do. i was very satisfied with their repairs and it is nice to be able to do laundry again. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

Very good service. Informed me my refrigerator was too old to repair. Paid for the service call and really appreciated his honesty. Did a very thorough job. Excellent! Very prompt and congenial as well.

my refrigerator water stopped. he came and not only took care of the problem but explained to me why it happened, how the refrigerator was made and what I could do to take care if it myself in the future. While there I told him about a problem with my oven, he found the problem and fixed it too. He was kind, clean, explained every step and left me with a working refrigerator and oven. calling again for another problem just now.

My interaction with the technician was good. He knew exactly what the problem was and was able to fix it right away. He also answered a few other questions about some other appliances. I would definitely recommend them. I have nothing to compare their price with, but I know that you pay a lot to have your appliances repaired or replaced. I think it was pretty fair. I wasn’t shocked when they gave me the price. The quality of the work was good. It took them about a week to get out to me since it was around the holidays, but it was worth the wait. I could live without my microwave for a week, but I did have to wait for the technician to come out.

We called Ace about our ice maker not making ice, and the person (a woman) who answered said it is common to have the water in the intake tube freeze. We, with a hair dryer, warmed up the tube, and voila!, found our ice making capacity back! We were saved the cost of a service person coming to the house, thanks to the advice given on our initial phone call. We definitely would use and recommend Ace to all. Thank you Ace!
