Ace Appliance

Arrived on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. Had the part (motor module) in his truck and replaced it quickly. Was in and out in exactly half an hour. Boy am I impressed. Wish I had called them sooner. Would definitely use their services again.

I would use Ace baised on the recommendation of my repair guy.

Service person arrived on time. was very pleasant, knowledgeable, got right to work and made the repair. Cleaned up all mess and left within the hour.

Courteous, prompt service. Was called to ask if it was o.k. for service person to arrive a little early, which was fine, as was expecting another delivery at same time. Machine was thoroughly checked, and as it is 12 years old, I expected his diagnosis: It would not be worth fixing, since it was leaking oil, etc. He also helped me secure the dishwasher overflow valve on my sink, which I had taken apart to clean, but couldn't get back together again. I was just charged for the service call, which was reasonable.

They were very clear about the problem. They tried to not make it any more expensive than it had to be. They worked to retain any materials they could and just replaced what needed to be. They came back a second time and were prompt and got the job done very quickly.

Ace Appliance is the best! My apartment size dishwasher cost as much as a and quot;normaland quot; size dishwasher and I was not looking forward to having to buy a new one. I called Ace Appliance since the last time I had work done on it through the dealer it cost half as much as buying a new one. I was told they had to look at it first to see what the problem was before they could commit to fixing it. The man that came out was professional, polite, and thorough. The dishwaser suffered from too much detergent build up that had hardened over time. He scraped and scraped and got the filter out and got the pump working properly, and told me what to do for the future. It is 100% better than it was before he arrived. And all that for a very reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend Ace Appliance to anyone and will certainly use them again in the future. They know what they are doing!

The technician was punctual, and diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately, based on his experience and familiarity with this unit. He ordered the correct part, and returned to install it, and t works splendidly. The dispatcher was courteous and helpful, as well.

Service man arrived shortly before the scheduled time. He quickly diagnosed the problem which he was familiar with. The defrost water drain had clogged and the water backed up into the freezer and eventually ran out from the front of the fridge. He made sure that he had the repair part BEFORE he took apart the freezer section and broke out the ice buildup that was all over the inner cooling mechanisms. It was a lot of work and took at least three quarters of an hour. He had to pull the fridge out of the wall hole (he put down protective sheets so as to not dent the wood floor) to get at the bad part in the back. This was not a job I would have tried myself. It was well worth the money. He worked quickly and cleaned up as he went along. Based on my interactions with the office people and the service person this company was unusually professional and well trained. I just wish that other home service providers were more like this.

Ace appliance was great. Called their number and talked to a live human being. They said they would call by end of day and give a two hour window when the technician would arrive. They called and gave a window of 12 - 2 pm. Sure enough the technician arrived at 12:20 pm. He found the problem and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. They were honest, punctual and priced very competitively. What more could you ask for. I will use them for any future appliance problem.

Great! Ace Appliance was helpful and courteous on the phone, and even managed to get the repair person out sooner than anticipated, which was helpful since we use the microwave for so many things throughout the day.

The experience was very good and I was pleased. They were fast and the technician knew exactly what he was doing. It turned out to be a lot easier than what I thought. I have used this company twice and will use them again if needed.

Our washing machine went out - and this time, the motor was fried. It took a while to coordinate the times because we were out of town for a while, the motor arrived just when we were gone and then the technician was out of town. We played phone tag for a couple weeks, and some of the communication wasn't clear (I'd think that we'd made an appointment, and then they'd call to confirm the night before, but when I didn't call back, they wouldn't call me back or show up). Partly my fault, partly theirs. The work was good when it was finally done, and the washer works well now.

ACE Appliance was great from making the appointment, to getting the job done. The service tech even gave me a few pointers on things that would help my dishwasher run better after the repair.

The repairman was very professional, had the part he needed on hand in the truck and fixed the refrigerator for us very promptly. My only complaint is that they have gotten so popular, when I called, the first available appointment for the fridge was 4 days out! Luckily they had a cancellation and were able to come that afternoon. They also came out a few weeks ago to repair our washing machine. They replaced the motor control unit on our kenmore elite washer, which turns out did not actually fix the problem. They sent someone out again to replace the central control unit and he discovered that the drum was missing a couple of bolts and would probably fail soon. So they recommended getting a new machine since the cost of both of those repairs would be close to $700, he put the old part back in the existing machine and only charged me $60 for the service call. I really appreciated their honesty and would call them again anytime!

They refuse to service our address, which is in the hills above Foothill College. This is the first service vendor we've contacted who will not drive up a paved public road to our house (10 minutes from I-280). I guess they can afford to be choosy. They did return my call to tell me they wouldn't come, which I appreciated.

Outstanding customer service.

Tom from Ace Appliance had been out to repair our refrigerator water dispenser earlier in the year. About three months later, we found water underneath the refrigerator and Tom returned to fix the problem. We had turned off the water to the refrigerator and turned it back on when Tom arrived. To our surprise, the refrigerator did not leak and Tom could not find a leak anywhere. Tom was very thorough in his search and spent time looking for a leak that did not re-occur. He did not charge us for this service call. Ace Appliance stands behind their work and provides outstanding service. We recommend them without hesitation and will continue to use them in the future.

They are terrific and told us after they repaired my appliance that I needed to do something about re-ducting. I have been a customer of theirs for a long, long time.

Examined freezer to let me know the compressor was failing. Estimated that the price to repair the 15 year-old freezer would be $600-800 and said 15 years was a good use expectancy for a freezer. I decided to replace the freezer. The repairman reassembled the old freezer and left the area as he had found it. He was polite and informative.

ACE Appliance arrived on time, identified problem and serviced appliance quickly. Appliance now functioning properly. Service person was very nice and knowledgable.

It went very smoothly. They were reasonable with their pricing and showed up on time. They repaired a piece of glass and were very honest with us. We were very pleased with their service.

In both cases, our repairman arrived at the appointed time, was very professional, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about the appliances. My husband handled the microwave repair and said he had it fixed faster than he expected it to be. When he came for the oven repair, he had determined the problem in less than 20 minutes and let me know he had to order a part. He thought it might take a week or two to get it, so imagine my surprise when they called two days later to schedule an appointment because it had arrived! He came back at the appointed time and had it fixed in about 10 minutes. There was no payment until the repair was done, as per their procedures. Also, he went above and beyond because I asked him about our clothes dryer and how it seemed to have lost heat. He checked it for me at no charge (I wanted to pay him!) and determined everything was ok. An interesting side note: our glass cooktop shorted before our oven went out. We called Ace but they were booked and could not get to us soon enough. So we went with another Angie's List provider that had a good rating. Two repairmen came out, determined what the problem was, and ordered a part. When they came out to install the new part, they had ordered the wrong one. They did provide excellent customer service by immediately going to a supply house, purchasing the correct part, and fixing it an hour later but they just didn't seem as knowledgeable as Ace. We will be calling Ace for all our appliance repairs!
