The showed up on time and were very professional and quick. They moved my 100 year old piano from Burbank to Sherman Oaks without a scratch! Would totally recommend!

Called ShowTime and got a great quote, which was significantly lower than the other three piano movers I called. Part of it was location, I'm sure, but ShowTime had a great price and their service was stellar. I messed up the number of stairs and they didn't jump down my throat for being new at the whole moving thing. The price increased by only $20, which I was more than happy to pay. They moved the piano with great care and left with smiles on their faces (which I couldn't have done after moving a grand piano!) I couldn't recommend them more highly.

gThe guys arrived exactly on time. i told them that i wanted them to remove the cups under the wheels of the piano so that i could remove a throw rug. David explained that it was not good for the piano to roll it around on tile...that if one of the wheels got stuck within the grout lline that it could break the piano legs. I had no idea! David and is associate lifted the piano up and removed the rug...then placed the piano back on the cups. the extra knowledge they gave me was extremely valuable. i would definitely use them again.

David and his crew were fantastic! I had called David about a week and a half prior to get a quote on moving my piano and discovered it to be more cost-efficient to move more than just the piano as it then became an hourly rate rather than a flat fee. I told David I'd call him back (they were the first ones I had called, so I wanted time to think it over.) A few days later, he called me back--and so glad he did!--to see if I'd like to use them or not as he was scheduling the week ahead. I had so many things going on, I appreciated his proactive tactic to call me as by the time I remembered, he probably would have been booked. I initially had decided on 2 men only, but went up to 3 so it wouldn't take quite so long. David and his crew arrived early (also totally great.) They had come from another job which had booked 4 guys, but rather than just have one guy standing around, he allowed him to work and didn't charge me extra. David doesn't just manage the crew, he also assists, packing up the truck as well, so it really was like having 5 guys. The crew was efficient, detailed, and I never felt like my stuff was in danger. I've never used movers before so I don't know what the norm is, but I was highly impressed with these guys. They were calm and efficient and never used brute force. I was quite happy to not have to unpack filing cabinets or drawers just to repack them later; they took it with the stuff in it. Rather than lift my refrigerator over the counter to get it out of the kitchen, they use finesse to snake it out with the door open. They have an aire of calm about them which is super helpful during a stressful move. They don't rush; they specialize in moving delicate items such as pianos and antiques. It appeared that a couple of the guys were new, and the others were training them, showing them how to do it with care and efficiency. The guys assisted me in reassembling my rolltop desk, they rebuilt my bed in record time, and were patient with me as I determined exactly what angle I wanted the piano to be in relation to the walls and doors. I highly recommend these guys. It took them about 3 hours and was totally worth the time and money to me.

I spoke with David was originally quoted $75.00 for a two man crew, per hour and then when I mentioned the %10 discount from angieslist, I was told there was a %15 percent fuel surcharge. If they wernt still cheaper and this this wasn't a small job, I would have not used them. David was hard to reach to confirm the appointment, and he seemed to be working from his cell on the road most of the time. The crew showed up right on time. I had only one piece of office furniture that I cared about and voiced that repeatedly. I had to insist that it be blanketed, wrapped and taped repeatedly, and actually did some of it myself. The lead guy could seem to care less, was talking to his wife on the phone several times. Then I had one other table and they said we have to remove the legs to get it through the door. I had to show them how to angle it, so they did not. They were cheap and they got the job done in under the 3 hour minimum. I would not let these guys move me ever again. Go with Prodigy Moving, they are much better!!! I would have used them but there price went way up since I had used them 8 months earlier

Show Time was great - David was professional, responsive, and able to fit us in on relatively short notice. I called on a Thursday, and we set up the moving time for Saturday. David showed up on time and quickly removed the table and chairs from their old home and brought them to ours. He was very attentive when picking up the table - making sure we were aware of some scratches and nicks before we completed the purchase. He and one other mover worked quickly, got the job done perfectly, and we're happy to have a new dining room table to eat at!

Excellent service. They showed up on time, were creative so they didn't have to move the piano down even one step, drove it to my brother's home, off loaded. Start to finish great. I've got more stuff to move. I'm calling Show Time.

It was pretty straightforward - they showed up ontime, they did the job without damaging anything. I was scheduled to have another company move my piano, but decided to shop around, and the owner of this business quoted me a price that was way lower without me having to haggle. The owner is happy to work and eager to please.

They were wonderful. Arrived either on time or early, had 3 m3n who knew their business & worked efficiently & with a great attitude throughout the move. They stopped on the way to the desert only briefly for a bite to eat, & completed the job, in 110-115 degree weather I might add, on time & on budget, ?We were amazed at how quickly they executed the job without sacrificing care. We would hire them again in a New York minute.

It was a simple little move, except that the stove is five feet wide and per the manufacturer weighs 680 pounds. Showtime coordinated with the seller's tenant (renting the house and garage where it was stored), picked up and delivered without any issues at all. They protected it with shrink wrap, which we left on during the remodeling necessary to make room for it. Showtime had moved a piano for me in January of 2011, so I went back to them for this.

They offloaded my upright piano (full-size, professional quality), antique pump organ, and antique furniture from the rented box truck I used to move from TN to CA. They transferred the items into the house, set everything up properly in the appropriate rooms. Polite, professional, and considerate...all the time thinking through the best approach to handle these large and special items. A great service provider. I've used them before, and I'll use them again without hesitation!

They were absolutely right on time. Worked like a well oiled machine without a single hesitation. Were in and out quickly. Alowed us the time to figure out exactly where we wanted the piano. Were cheerful and friendly the entire time. Perfect experience. Oh, and they were the lowest bid by quite a lot!

Dave was very professional, courteous and prompt in helping us move our parents from their 2000 sq ft home in Monterey into their 550 sq ft apartment in LA. The parents weren't totally packed nor ready to give up all the furniture that couldn't fit into the smaller apartment, but Dave and his crew were patient and professional with the parents and helped finish packing for them. The next day, they arrived promptly to unload the furniture and belongings into their new apartment. They were able to transport the fragile Japanese dolls in their glass cases all the way from Monterey to LA without incident.

We bought a close friend's much loved childhood piano. Showtime Moving & Storage was professional, punctual, responsive and competitively priced, but there's more. Dave from Showtime arrived at the seller's house on time and took a picture of the seller sitting at the piano, which was much appreciated. The move itself was "smooth as ice cream" according to the seller, an accomplished musician. When Dave got to our house, he helped us decide where to put the piano, waited for us to dust off the back and recommended a piano tuner. We comparison shopped 3 different movers and Showtime gave us the best price. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Would work with Dave again in a heartbeat.

The guys from Showtime were extremely professional, efficient, personable. We were impressed with their concern for our belongings and the time frame estimated and accomplished. Overall the best moving experience we've had.

They did a great job. They were on time. They were very efficient. They self guarded what they needed to do and figured the best way to do it and did it. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future if needed.

The $1,000 include $200 in tips. They were proficient, courteous and very helpful. I am in terrible physical condition and they helped me seal boxes and made sure the boxes in the final destination. I had given them a barbecue and then my daughter asked for it back when the delivered mt refrigerator to their house. I received the barbecue back then.

I have a 100 year old baby grand piano that is a family treasure. It has been moved many times over the years, but never with the type of care I just witness. David is the "piano whisperer". I highly recommend these guys to move anything you really care about.

The man who took my initial call was very patient and helpfull with some scheduling difficulties on my end. The movers were prompt, efficient, friendly and fast. I felt the cost was very fair considering what was moved and the distance.

I contacted the company and was promptly able to arrange for the move on the following Saturday. They arrived on schedule, carefully moved the piano into the truck and followed my car to the destination. They unloaded the piano just as carefully, placed it in the spot that had been prepared for it. Then, they suggested a better placement for the piano and moved it to another wall. I was very pleased at the prompt and timely response and the care with which they treated the piano--it was one of my treasured possessions, and I had been very anxious about moving it.

Showed up on time, worked hard, were fast but careful, were friendly and the price was reasonable. What more do you want?
