Show Time Moving & Storage

The move went great until she got the bill not realizing she was on a six hour minimum, the bill came out to $600 . She was never told on the phone or on the day of the move that there was a 6 hour minimum charge. She was expecting 3 to4 hour job . The job only took just 3 hours. But was charged for 5 hours . She could not afford $600 for such a easy move. Would never recommend Showtime moving to anyone else again .

After rescheduling twice prior to the actual April 19th move, everything went off without a hitch, including a stop at my daughter's home 4 miles off the point A to point B route to drop off some furnishings that would have otherwise been very difficult for me to pack up and drive down via a rental truck at a later date. I still marvel at how Dave and Israel were able to cram so much into an 18 foot truck and arrive at both destinations with not so much as a chipped nail. Considering the last minute inclusion of an additional drop off location, these two professionals remained cool, calm, very pleasant, and accommodating. Should my daughters, two of which still reside in Studio City ever decide to move, I will absolutely and most definitely give them Dave's number! Thanks for a great moving experience Showtime!

They were on time and the move went quickly. They were very professional.

Showtime movers moved my piano. They were very responsive on the phone setting up the appointment, and were very professional, careful and thorough in performing the work. They came prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment to protect the piano, the floors, etc. They took their time and were very careful in moving the piano to the new location, including up a flight of stairs.

We were happy with the service overall, but two items of furniture were lightly damaged during the move. We wished they would have brought it to our attention and made appropriate restitution. Because they were punctual, friendly and affordable (thanks in part to Angie's List), we will probably use them again.

4 guys arrived on time. Soooo careful with my things!! They moved a two bedroom apt size to San Diego They were Professional and Polite and were very efficient.

David and his crew arrived on time. They were pleasant, efficient, polite and careful, and professional. I have a few family heirlooms( furniture)that I was very concerned about transporting. They were so careful they transported it separately! They were even done before the quoted time estimate. Yes, I would use them again! Yes I would recommend them to anyone!

I had an excellent experience dealing with them. They were very professional. I called them on a Monday and they came on Tuesday morning. They picked up the piano and took it straight out to my daughters house and put it where she wanted to be put in. They knew what they were doing.

Great move! Special care was taken with our furniture and Dave planned the move out perfect. I asked if we could take a little extra time and put felt pads on our furniture as the furniture was now going on new hardwood floors. Dave and his crew did this and even suggested putting some pad on the back of some pieces so they would not scratch the new paint.

They did a good job, were polite, professional, on time, were dependable and I would recommend them to anyone.

Because I wasn't familiar with their location, I didn't realize that they didn't come to my area for a local home-to-home move. Their cost would have required a 6 hour minimum rate. As it was, the move actually only took 2.5 hours.

They were excellent. Very professional and personable. They called me to confirm their time and arrived on time. The move went so smooth that I hired them to do another small move which went fantasic. I highly recommend them.

I could not of asked for a more perfect move. David was right on time and after expanding the move David started. Much care was taken with our furniture, bubble wrap was used to wrap the furniture and protect the walls. I will be calling Show Time Movers when our remodel is finished!

Showtime Movers showed up on time in Newhall CA. With much care they wrapped the piano so well and protected. It arrived at my home in Chatsworth in perfect condition! Placed 2 different ways to see which one I liked better. (David is also a great interior designer! ;)) they then took my upright piano and with the same care, wrapped that up and took it to West Hills where it to arrived perfect!! This company KNOWS what they're doing! I would so highly recommend them!! So friendly! So fair! No added on prices! I find that some of the other negative comments are unfounded. I watched them! I saw the results!

It did not go well at all. He would not provide us a service because OUR RESIDENCE is located 24.8 miles from their moving co. business. He did not want to handle our move based on location. He said there was too much drive time involved for his company and they don't get paid for that. So he suggested finding a company closer to my home. Then my question to David is why advertise that your "Area Served" is SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA????? Why advertise on this reputable site claiming you serve an area that clearly you do not. Not a professional company or representative!!!

First let me say, I was100% pleased with Show Time Moving & Storage!! My movers were David, his long-time assistant Oscar, and their young helper-in-training Kevin. My mother-in-law unexpectedly had to go into an assisted living facility and it was up to me to pack up her possessions and move her furniture out of her apartment. After a very unsuccessful "Apt. Sale" there was quite a bit of furniture to deal with. I knew some of it would be put in storage, some of it would be donated, some of it would be sold at a later date. I researched movers on Angie's List and narrowed it down to six with "A" ratings. Then I carefully read ALL their reviews and narrowed it down to two. Earlier that month, before the Apt. Sale, I chose one of the two movers to move four large pieces of furniture to our home. They were excellent and now I had a 'standard' by which I would judge any other mover. FYI, I chose the first mover simply with a toss of a coin - no other reason. Now that you know the background, I will give you a description of how this move went. The largest piece of furniture was a HUGE sideboard/hutch. Approx. 6' wide by 7' tall. Fortunately it could be disassembled into two pieces, otherwise there was no way it would fit through the front door. There was a large leather couch, a queen-size mattress/boxspring set, two large nightstands w/marble tops, two armchairs, two heavy & bulky TV/entertainment stands, a very large box of lamp bases, an antique washstand w/marble top, and a large heavy wall mirror. There was also a good-sized area rug but not really worth mentioning. A few times I held my breath but it really wasn't necessary - they carefully and expertly moved everything out the door and down the stairs. Not one scratch, not one ding .... everything arrived at my house in the same shape it left the apartment. I didn't know what-the-heck I was going to do with the leather couch (we already had one that we liked) and the queen-size mattress/boxspring set (already had one of those, too) and they definitely wouldn't fit into the storage unit. It was such a shame because they were only about two years old and in excellent condition. David suggested we donate them and he had just the place - The Catalyst Foundation (I later looked them up on the Internet and they seem like a very worthy organization). Same with the TV/entertainment stands. He also took the area rug and Oscar took one of the armchairs. Wow! Whatta relief! A few days later David sent me an adorable "Thank You" card along with a donation receipt from The Catalyst Foundation. What else can I tell you? Their reviews are totally accurate and forget about the bonehead who gave them a "C" rating. Their ratings should be nothing but "A"! They are professional, courteous, enjoyable to deal with, helpful, and, most of all, CAREFUL!

These guys were great. I hired them for my move because of their experience with pianos (i have an old upright) and they lived up to their reputation. They were fast, efficient, cautious and safe. They did a great job with my piano and all of my other big items. They didn't delay, they didn't stretch out the time - they were great. Fantastic experience with these guys and I'll be calling them again if i ever need to move my piano or anything else!

These guys were awesome! They showed up right on time, and were super professional and friendly. They worked really hard in very hot weather, were careful with our belongings and finished in a timely manner. Since we paid them by the hour, we appreciated that they worked quickly and didn't drag out the time. Also, I called on a Monday to book them for Wednesday, and they fit me into their schedule when a couple of other moving companies couldn't. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, hard workers at a great price!

Working with these people was a dream. From either answering when I called or promptly returning the calls when I had questions, to accommodating my requests David and his crew were a pleasure to work with. We were having a new slab installed in the living room and needed the room emptied including an 88 year old baby grand piano and some older and delicate cabinets. These pieces needed to be moved across Spanish tile which David protected with plywood. He treated everything as if it were his own. Two weeks later he moved everything back with the same care. He is definitely my go-to guy for all our future moving needs.

They showed up on time and moved everything properly. They were professional and affordable. They told me what the price was going to be and that's exactly what it was. They didn't break anything and they were fabulous.
