I called Showalter's as they came highly recommended by the person who did our septic tank inspection before we purchased our home. I spoke with Debra who was friendly and able to find a spot on the schedule for me without trouble. She also explained their fee structure (there's only two pieces to it--their service fee and the county's disposal fee) and what services would be performed, and asked me about where my tanks were. On the day of service, Jorge arrived during the scheduled window, opened the access ports and told me how full each of my tanks and cesspool was; he gave me an estimate of how long it would take (about half an hour), but also warned me that it would likely take a second trip to empty them out. After he was done, he told me how much was removed and how much was left, at which point I elected to have him make a second trip to pump out the rest. I called Showalter's and was able to schedule a second trip for the following day. The next day, Jorge arrived on time and pumped out the rest. All the time, he was both friendly and professional, and I would recommend Showalter's to anyone looking for septic service. Be warned though that pumping does make a very loud noise; scheduling service while your neighbors are at work or away would be a good idea.

They were fantastic. It is very difficult to get people up here. It was the week before Christmas and was pouring rain. They were the only ones who showed up on time. They said that they would come the next day when we called them and they were here. They were $50 cheaper than the next guy. They were very knowledgeable and did a great job. We recommended them to our neighbors.

Thorough and outstanding service. Easy to schedule. On time arrival. One of the access heads was difficult to find but Jeff, the owner, kept looking and found it. Great experience.

All good - he showed up right on time, fired up the pump and did the job. Took about 20min or so. He said he remembered doing my house 6 years ago, though I wasn't the owner back then. He hosed down the inside of the tank, and that was that. The only negative thing for me was probably the noise of the truck pumping - very loud. If your neighbors are close by, I might not recommend a morning pumping. We probably woke up at least a few neighbors :) Will use again.

I have used this company once before and was happy so called them again. Extremely professional and helpful over the phone. I have two septic tanks on two neighbouring lots with a shared driveway. The access is horrible, steep narrow driveway which no truck can access so all pipes have to be run up from the street below. Technician was polite and unfailingly cheerful despite it being a very hot day and having to work very hard. Also checked out the pits to make sure nothing going on there.

The office was very professional over the phone and the technician that came to do the job was very knowledgeable. It turns out that he had updated my septic system for the previous owner some 15 years ago. Prompt and professional.

We have used this company for over 5 years. The employees are professional and prompt. We love George and the office staff is very friendly.

Absolutely no problem. They showed up on time and did the job. Our house is on a very narrow street, so they brought a smaller truck. Very professional.

THE BEAUTY OF THIS COMPANY IS THAT IT'S A CALL AND FORGET OPERATION. THEY KNOW WHERE THE CLEAN-OUTS ARE ON THE PROPERTY. THEY COME IN WITH WELL IDENTIFIED, CLEAN TRUCKS. THEY DO THE DEED AND THEY LEAVE A BILL. I'VE HAD ONLY GOOD LUCK WITH THEIR SERVICE.
