Bonnie and Ira Goodberg are very professional and pleasant to work with. They arrived on time (early, actually), and gave me a courtesy discount for an extra 15 mins. of work they did. I wasn't aware of many technical issues to report to them, yet they knew exactly what to fix and update. They removed extraneous programs that were slowing down the computer (among other things), and I am very happy that they were able to get my scanner working.

Never returned my call... did not provide service.

They were on time and professional. Husband and wife team came out to the office. Offered good suggestions and didn't push hard for an up-sell. I appreciated their help and input. I think my computer is running better as a result.

The Goodbergs are fabulous! We had always had trouble with our wi-fi at our house. We have Time Warner Cable for our internet. We are not tech-savvy and the problems were such that we had no idea where to even start. When Ira and Bonnie came over, they diagnosed a problem with the modem (I could not even find the modem!) - our video person had put it behind a panel in the wall which was great for our TV but, since the panel was metal, completely degraded our wi-fi reception. From there they set up a backup system using a time capsule (which they bought and installed for us); dealt with Apple in the course of transferring files from my desktop to the MacPro (Apple had changed its procedure for transferring photo files since the 6 years or so that I had purchased my iMac desktop); and also contacted Time-Warner in order to enhance our internet reception and determine whether we needed a new modem. To be honest, this entire project would have been impossible for me to accomplish alone. I would not have even known what questions to ask of Apple or Time Warner. They even took my husband's iPad to their office because it seemed to be malfunctioning but we did not know whether it was our connection or the iPad that was not performing. It was our system, not the iPad. They are super patient and are very receptive if one needs to contact them with a question. Our system works very efficiently now and my treasured photo files are safe. For me, the service was well-priced - all this took quite a long time over three days. I now feel that if I need computer assistance i have an invaluable resource - an enormous "peace of mind" factor! I should also note that the price included the cost of Apple hardware they purchased for us.

The husband and wife come to the house and they worked on both my laptop and desktop and connected a wireless printer. They were excellent. I felt as though their very trustworthy.

The Goodberg's were prompt and professional in the services that they provided. Their pricing was a real deal because I bought an Angie's List discount coupon. I would use these folks again particularly for setup of equipment. They seemed very comfortable with equipment presented to them and they enjoy working on Macs but are also proficient in Windows. The only thing that I might recommend is to make a list of all that you would like to accomplish, and also add to that list anything that they suggest that would fit into the alocated time. A few very minor things fell off the list, (and I mean minor) but I realized it later in the day, and so I will try to do them myself. All in all, completely worth the $70 and just the time saved in having them do it as opposed to pulling out the manuals and trying to figure it out myself, saved hours of effort.

Set up my Mac and he and his wife gave me a great lesson on how to use it. I'm already very comfortable. Best teachers I have ever had. Thank you Angie's List!

My laptop, iPhone, and iPad were not talking to each other. They cleaned up desktop and made all my systems talk to each other. Plus I had an email from my masters program last year that had an Apple ID as well as others and I could not download an app. They fixed that as well. There were plenty of nuances I can't explain that well however he worked really hard and just asked me questions and helped me get it all in working order. So impressed! I will hire them again! SM

Was able to contact right away and they came within the hour. Called the next day to see if I wanted them to come and install new computer. No charge for initial call that determined Dell computer had fried. They also brought a surge protector to insure that power surges would not impact computer, which they felt caused the demise of the Dell. Called Apple support when difficulty was experienced increasing the font to a size that could be read by my mother. Instead of wasting time and increasing hours, I commend a provider who uses other resources to quickly solve a problem. They called the following day to determine if my mother was able to use the computer without difficulty. Bonnie and Ira are 2 wonderful, amiable and competent folks who I highly recommend

About a year ago, I wanted to upgrade my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7. I was intimidated but decide to go ahead anyway! After I backed up everything to an external hard drive as was required, I attempted to reinstall the programs I removed. After doing so, I noticed that in my personal documents, I was unable to read copy. It came out with very cryptic characters rather than letters. I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List with Goodberg & son. I was contacted immdiaterly via the Angie's List site & a very convenient appointment was made to come to my home. Bonnie & Ira arrived a few minutes early & got to work right away. Ira corrected the problem & explained why this had happened. While they were here, I asked them to do a few other small things that I was having issues with. The appointment ran a half hour over the purchased hour, but I was only charged for that time, rather than for another full hour. I wish my plumber would do that! I feel their rates are very reasonable. They were very professional and so nice. I will use them in the future when I decide to upgrade again and let them do the installation for me. I highly recommend them for your computer needs.

We had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal from Goodberg & Son Computers to troubleshoot and repair an older PC laptop computer that would power up for a few seconds, then shut off and not boot up. Bonita and Ira suspected that it might be a fan problem, but after a careful examination determined that the laptop was all for all intents and purposes DOA, and could not justify further costs beyond the purchased hour of service in an attempt to fix it. Although disappointed by the outcome, we appreciated their honest and timely assessment of the situation, as well as their advice regarding what to look for in a replacement, and a maintenance action plan for another one of our computers. Appreciated the in-home service and their friendly service, and would definitely use again.

I’ve called them a couple of times and they have provided free guidance over the phone. They gave me a few tips and they were very good. They will coach and help you in every way possible.

They worked hard and efficiently. The result is that my computers are running better than they have for a long, long time.

Cleaned up all the extraneous stuff on my computer. Downloaded programs that had been lost. Computer runs much faster with less download time.

hey encouraged me, like so many of my friends, to switch to a Mac, which I did. Note, they did not sell me the new equipment, and made nothing on my purchases. I bought directly from Apple. Once everything arrived, they transferred all my data, etc. from the PC to the Mac, and trained my wife and I on using the new Apple products. It was more time consuming than expected, but some of that was limitations of some of the software I had been using, All the time, they were teaching me by explaining what they wee doing, and the entire process was really fun. I intend to have them back once m ore to work out a few little problems I haven't been able to solve.

I called a computer tech who was recommended by a friend. He spent about an hour and cleaned up my computer entirely. I can use Google or Firefox and I have no further problems. He only charged me $95.I am so glad the I didn't follow the advice Goodberg gave me. I would have been $280 poorer or else bought a new computer I didn't really need.

A had a hard drive go out on my Mac. All of the usual important details where there. I had a back-up system in place to prevent this sort of thing from becoming an issue and it just so happened that it had also "gone bad"! Ira and his supervisor Bonita came to the rescue! With the possible loss of all of my personal info Ira and Bonita cancelled their appointments for the day and began to work on my computer. With in a few hours they discovered all of my info was present and accounted for and that it could be saved,,, RELIEF! They were courteous, professional, and also very funny too. I'm grateful for your help, see you next time. james white

My iMac needed upgrading. Ira checked it out and said it could be done but the software needed to be installed In a progressive manner, which could take 5 or 6 hours. He took my computer home to run the programs at a lesser cost to me. I feel like I now have a brand new computer which will last me several more years. I'm not very techy and everything was explained clearly. I'm so happy to have found them and will call on them again should I need it. I've already recommended them to my friends, and do so as well to Angie's members.

The iMac was running much faster and and all was well.Except the backups weren't working.|They came a third time and consolidated the backup to one device.All through this process, Bonnie and Ira were cheerful and interesting. Everything was explained in easy to understand layman's terms.They have checked back with me twice since the job was completed.If I have any new problems, they'll be the folks I'd call.

They rebooted my wifi and installed a power protector. They were quick and efficient. I have used them before and they are excellent.

Ira & Bonnie were very jelpful & professional. They gave me an overall great service. My only recomendation is that they provide an estimate of the work prior to servicing the equipment/client. I will certainly use them again in the future.

It was a very good service. We were very happy with them and they did a good job. They came out to do the job within a few weeks after I purchased the big deal. I remember not having any problems with them. We actually kept them for an extra half hour and so we paid them a little bit extra for doing a little bit more work. They charged us whatever their standard rate is. Their standard rate is $125 and we paid half. I have a touch pad which had been corroded because of the batteries and they took it with them to fix it. I called them after a week or so to find out what happened and they said that it is still on their way and they will drop it by for another $35 which I agreed to pay. A new touch pad is $75 and they said that it would be just like new so I said that that would be fine and I will pay for it. The experience was fine overall.

They were busy when we internally tried to schedule the appointment and they could not come when I wanted. However, it worked out well and we communicated by email until we agreed on a desired date. Their service was terrific. They were very hard working and great problem solvers. They were also effective communicators and really explained everything they were doing which was helpful.

They were good to work with.

Punctual, personable, fairly priced.... The Goodbergs explain things to the layman, in simple terms. I'm going to ultimately need a new computer, but they will advise me on the purchase, & do the set up. Takes a lot of the anxiety out of the mix, to know they will walk you through every step. In addition, they suggested that I switch providers & even helped negotiate a new "bundle" packaging deal... Will use them again for sure.
