Description of Work: The workers were very professional and explained to me everything that they were doing. They had a camera that went into the drain so I could see the work they were doing and if my pipes had any damage. They did the work in a reasonable time frame and for the price quoted. I would call them again.

Description of Work: this was a complicated job, because they had misdiagnosed a problem earlier but then ultimately solved my problem. When they first came out it was to inspect my sewer line, but there was a problem in my line and they couldn't get the camera past a certain point. They concluded that I might have a break in my line and told me it would cost $1800 to $4200 to repair. I got a second opinion who showed me that there was indeed a problem with the line in that the fitting had apparently shifted somewhat over time (or was not done right in the first place, but there was no indication that it was leaking or causing a clog. Then, after a massive backup of my sewer line I called Flood Bros again (mistakenly, not remembering they had gotten it wrong the first time). This time they found a clean-out on the side of the house I didn't know existed and the line was completely clogged. I agreed to have it jetted out and all the roots cut for $550, plus $150 for the initial visit as he had spent a few hours figuring out the problem. The next day Angie's list offered a pipe-jetting/root clearing service for $159(!), which they said was a $350 value. When I reported that offer to Flood Brothers they graciously offered to reduce my charge by $100, so in the end I spent $600 (not counting the first time they came out to camera my line). They also explained that the "$350" value claim was for a hydraulic jet that cost $7000 as opposed to a hydraulic jet that cost $30,000, accounting for the difference. | |In the end I feel fairly confident that they were honest throughout and tried to give me a decent price. Of course, I'm no expert and I'm always a little suspicious of anyone working on my house. But on balance I trust them and would use them again.
