Excellent. Very through & professional.

The salesman met with us for about an hour detailing all the different choices we had for the roof, we actually needed two different kinds to accomodate both flat and tilted sections. Everything went well until a skylight needed to be specially ordered so the end of the job was held up several months. Everyone (the crew) was nice, quiet and neat. The shrubs and garden suffered no damage and at the end of every workday the jobsite was neat. We paid for a high end, guaranteed job and that's what I believe we got.

It started in early October with Mr. Roofing, Ricardo Molina, who referred us to the window vendor and the skylight vendor all work was completed by 12/5/12.

They arrived on time, completed the inspection and cleaning as promised. Very dependable, from the first call to the actual inspection.

I contacted Mr. Roofing in response to repairing a leaky roof. Instead of repairing the section of roof that was leaking, they recommended replacing the whole roof. The roofers were punctual and cleaned up after themselves each day, and they completed the job a week later than originally estimated due to manufacturer's delays with the shingles. The roofers performed the job very well, and I would recommend Mr. Roofing to anybody who wants a new roof.

It went great. My technician/inspector was on-time, did a great job with the roof cleaning, and made excellent recommendations for structural improvements. He even recommended cost effective ways to perform the improvements. We had a great experience with them and will definitely use them again.

They go over and beyond in their work. They are prompt and efficient. A business rep actually came out and climbed on the roof to check out what work needed to be done.

I would recommend him and the estimate he gave was great. He was very professional and he had communicated very well about what the process would be. He also explained the things that were important or critical and the things that I didn’t need to worry much about. What he did made scope the project in a good way. Hence I knew what it was about and the pricing for the estimate was free. The quality of work was also good since he delivered a project plan for me which not only had the information about the material that were about to be used but also he included the information about his contract, his license number, his insurance and all that kind of stuff. Apart from that, the delivery of the estimate was itself very good and he was also very responsive and punctual as we have had two separate appointments for which he was exactly on time. He was very professional and I would use him again in the future.

I liked the work, they were very friendly, and professional. It was pouring rain, they came back, and fixed it.

The staff at Mr. Roofing were very professional, curteous, and prompt. The office manager got back to me quickly and set up a time for a quote. Carlos came out and inspected my roof for a cleaning quote (I have a very steeply pitched roof with large trees shedding a mountain of tree debris.) He quoted me a very reasonable price and timeframe to schedule the work. Carlos was very personable and great to work with. His crew showed up just as promised, and did a fantastic job - they not only cleaned off years of tree debris, but also cleaned my gutters very thoroughly - much better than I usually do. As an added bonus, they took down an old unused TV antenna for me for a nominal fee. I will definitely be giving them a call again to clean off the fall tree debris that has collected since my last cleaning. They are now my go-to service for roof work.

Their estimates were reasonable but they never ended up doing call backs. They came out and I liked their estimate so I tried to set up an appointment three times to get them to come out and do the work; each time they told me they would call me back and never did. I will not use them again in the future.

Mr Roofing was very punctual and professional and was able to perform the work promptly. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. I am a diehard DIYer and normally do all the work on my home and I am very particular of how it is done and Mr. Roofing met all my expectations.

He found a couple broken tiles that he replaced graciously at no extra charge. I was very happy with him. He was professional and it was high quality work.

A very polite and efficient estimator arrived on time . He was here to give us a second estimate on a re-roofing job for a 1926 home in S.F. I was unsure about the cost of a new roof and wanted another estimate. After measuring and walking the perimeter, the attic, and the roof, He told me that the first estimate was not only reasonable but the materials proposed would be high quality and he felt that his company couldn't do better than the first company. He offered to keep everything on file in case we changed our minds but felt it wasn't a good use of my time or his to "do the numbers." I appreciate his honesty.

I got estimates from about 6 roofing companies. Mr. Roofing's price was about in the middle, but it was difficult to compare prices because of differences in the exact work the various companies proposed. After submitting a deposit I had to wait more than 3 weeks before the work was done, but this was completely understandable because it was in the middle of a very heavy rain spell. I admit I was pleasantly surprised when the workers actually showed up at the appointed time on the appointed day. The work was completed very efficiently, and the new gutters look terrific. Cleanup was very thorough. I'm very pleased and would definitely use this company again.

I called for a quote on a new roof, as ours was over 13 years old. The Mr. Roofing estimator looked over the roof, and told me a new roof wasn't necessary. He then discussed some things they could do to improve the gutters, the chimney drainage, and also make sure there were no issues around the foundation of the solar panels. This was roofing wisdom, at no charge! The communication was excellent, from initial request, to confirming all the work was satisfactory. They continue to stay in touch with a newsletter. I will never need to consider any other company form my roofing. The project manager was very professional, and explained what was being done. They even gave me a survey at the end of the work to insure I was satisfied. I've never seen this level of customer service from a small contractor.

They seemed to be a well-run company. They were very prompt and professional but I didn't go on the roof to look at the work. They had a digital camera and showed me where the damage was.

They were quite honest and straightforward. I felt like I could trust them. Everything went really well.

Once the appointment was setup, Richardo inspected our roof; taking pictures and recording everything on his tablet computer. He then walked me through everything that needed to be done. Later he went over in detail about the various options for work, materials, and pricing. The actual work was headed by Miguel; and it was quick, clean, and well done. I was even able to ask for additions on the fly, and they were able to make adjustments to the work and price. What impressed me was what Mr Roofing is a very professional operation focused on both quality, and treating their customers and employees fairly. They're also familiar with modern flat roofing technology such as PVC membrane. Just a few complaints: 1) Mr Roofing was so busy with appointments and roofing work, that we had to wait close to a month before we could even get an appointment for an estimate. 2) I wish Mr Roofing had discussed insulation work. I know that it probably affects the price negatively but in our case insulation would have been a nice addition.

I had a leaky deck. The sales man at Mr. Roofing suggested a new product they have been installing for decks called Deck Shield. The product did stop the leaking however the look and feel of the deck was done poorly. There are bumps everywhere on the deck, lots of seams which I was told would not exist when sold the product and in addition there are air bubbles which exist on parts of the deck. I've had their company come out numerous times to try to get the deck to be flat in appearance and feel and it was never done right. My wife had to suggest to them to come out with a roller and try to flatten out the glue they used and it wasn't until she insisted that they were willing to do that. This helped but the underlying boards they used and put down under the deck were uneven and not put down in a well thought out manner leaving us numerous drop-offs through out the deck. All around I'd say this was a bad experience. The Mr. Roofing salesperson who sold me the business also said that at the end of the job, he would come back to our home and walk through the project along with show me pictures that would show me step by step what it was that they had done. That never happened, I've since spoken to him three times since I noticed the faulty installation but he still has not come over to see the work first hand. I would be very careful when dealing with Mr. Roofing, they are a very friendly and responsive company to work with, but where it counts, quality of work and follow up after they've won the business, their service really drops off, in fact I consider it poor. In addition I wrote to deck shield and sent them pictures but never received a response.

The project went smoothly and efficiently.

The salesman was extremely organized and polite; showing up on time and giving quite a bit of information. They were also able to work with our budget. They crew was on time and actually completed the work ahead of schedule. It was very well done for the price we paid.

They finished the work in an efficient manner. I felt like I was dealing with an honest company. You can tell that the employees really love their company. All the workers were very courteous and friendly.

I was very impressed with Jerry. He offered trade offs of repairs now and a re-roof in a year or two or a re-roof now. He offered suggestions and gave us information needed to make a decision about roof materials. He was very professional-not pushy or shady. I plan to use Mr. Roofing when we decide to do a re-roof on our house.

Only hire this company if you want your neighbors to hate you. In the roofing crew, no one spoke English except the foreman who was rarely there. We had no one we could talk to most of the time. The roofers trespassed on our property the entire 2 weeks and used our roof for their storage, work area, etc without permission. Moreover, they denied they were doing this until I took pictures and confronted them with the evidence. When I talked to the roofing foreman, he gave inaccurate, incomplete information to me every time we spoke about what they were doing on our roof, how long it would take etc. The roofers or the scaffolding people damaged our building and did not tell us about it until I pointed it out to them. We had to have the damage repaired by the painters we had paint our building. The roofers didn t pick up or clean up after themselves for days until I made them do it. There is still debris in our yard from the project. The roofers started at 8am each day and were walking around on our roof disturbing one of our owners who doesn t go to work until later. They even came at 8am on Saturday without notifying us and we had to tell them to leave. In short, they were inconsiderate, messy, incompetent roofers who had no idea how to work on buildings in San Francisco. They repeatedly trespassed on and damaged our property during the project.
