Mr. Roofing, was founded in 1989 by Miguel Rodriguez. A veteran of the roofing industry, Miguel immediately established an honest and fair roofing service that customers appreciated. Demand for his service had grown and he needed help. In 1998, Miguel formed a partnership with his son Carlos Rodriguez - at the time, a recent University of California at Berkeley graduate. Carlos had been working in a corporate environment for about a year after college and was recently promoted. However, when Miguel asked Carlos to join the company Carlos felt he couldn't turn his back on the family. The Mr. Roofing team is committed to a completely satisfied customer. Though not perfect, we try our best to deliver a good experience to our customers. More importantly, you can tell a company's commitment to customer service by their response to a question, concern, and/or compliment. Maria De Leon is in charge of appointments and scheduling. Her care and attention is appreciated by our customers. Eloisa Gallardo is our office manager and ensures that our paperwork process and business transactions are properly handled. Ricardo Molina, Mike Odynski, Omar Capulong, and Mitchel Silva are our project consultants; they listen to our customers needs and design a long term sustainable scope of work that will meet our customer's budget. Our project managers include Roberto Valerio, Jose Gutierrez, Nick Donofrio, and Carlos Rodriguez; their role is to coordinate the work and work crews to deliver a good production experience for our customers.

Overall the contractors are very friendly. The project manager addressed all concerned issues as best he could. The roof looks better than it was or even better. I hope with the recent sunny weather, the seals can have a stronger cure. Thank you for securing the roof at the end of each day to make sure all seams are weatherproof. & Thank you for allowing multiple visits to check on the project’s progress and providing a walkthrough of the daily itinerary. The price was a little high but reasonable for the quality, customer service, jobs needed to be done, company’s insurances/liability and so much more. The bonus courtesy patch was a definite life saver during the rainy season. I’ll definitely refer my friends and family for any future work.

From beginning to end, we had nothing but a smooth engagement with Mr. Roofing. The Consultant was not selling, rather, presented options - which we really appreciated. From there: the scheduler was very responsive and proactive. Finally, Jose and his crew of 5 men did a fantastic job of replacing our roof. Prompt, fast, clean, respectful of our wishes. What a great experience. Was it the lowest price? Probably not. But you also get what you pay for.

They put roofing material up the sides from the flat part of roof and sealed it, test the water slope that water will drain and not puddle

"Hello [Member Name Removed]; Which one of our Project Advisors met with you? We don't charge for estimates and you reviewed that you paid us $99 for an inspection. The only inspections we charge for are for roof inspections requested by realtors and that is $250 for a full report of the existing condition of the roof on a property. If one of my Project Advisors charged you I would like to know and discuss that with them. Which property did we provide an estimate for you? The one listed in your review is not listed in our database neither is your name. Is the estimate under a different name perhaps? I ask to make sure my Project Advisors are fulfilling our process. We have 10 weeks of backlog work and if our prices weren't competitive we wouldn't be as busy as we are."

Mr. Roofing is a very professional company, from the front office to the scheduler to the foreman and associates. I arranged this service from another state and Mr. Roofing made this activity a smooth transaction with clear and continuous communication. Roberto was the project manager and he was professional, super nice and responsive to questions and comments, and my special requests for attention to detail.
I am picky and take the stewardship of my home seriously. I got three bids prior to embarking on my roof project. Mr. Roofing's bid was a bit less than the most expensive bid, and was the most detailed and explanatory . Ricardo, the estimator, arrived punctually at my home and spent lots of time explaining things to me, he also answered some questions via e-mail that helped me understand the process better. I found him to be very pleasant and professional. I received phone calls from the office manager and the project supervisor prior to my job, everything was explained, I received informational mailings and phone calls to remind me of the upcoming date. I appreciate the professional attention to detail. I was treated like my business was important to Mr. Roofing and Co.
Roberto and his crew arrived at the exact time they were due and got to work. The job took three days and they did a splendid job thanks to Roberto's diligence.. He told me "I am very picky". He is very much so and I really appreciate his attention to detail.
I am sure no one likes to spend money on a new roof, I'd much rather spend it in the kitchen or the bathroom. However, I feel relieved that when it starts raining, I will be in good stead thanks to Mr. Roofing, a really great local company. Thanks Roberto!

The service from Mr. Roofing from beginning to end was absolutely outstanding. Our first contact with Mr. Roofing was to set up an appointment through Maria. She was courteous and professional over the phone and set up an appointment with Jose. Jose subsequently came to our home to determine what we wanted to have done and also made recommendations. He thoroughly explained the different options available to us, i.e maintenance work, new roof, types of roofs available after performing measurements. After we selected Mr. Roofing to perform maintenance work vs. getting a new roof, Jose came to our house and thoroughly explain the contract and what we could expect throughout the entire process. We were very impressed with Jose and his concern that we understand what would happen. In addition, he also advised of a rebate for the Velux solar skylight to be purchased. On the day of the project, the Mr. Roofing team performed in a flawless maner. I believe the name of the foreman was also named Jose, but I cannot recall for sure. Anyway, the maintenance work on the roof was completed in half a day and at the end, Jose asked whether or not we had any questions, explained what had been done, and showed us how to operate the motorized skylight. A day later, I called Maria to obtain a separate receipt for the skylight which I needed to submit in order to obtain the rebate. The receipt was emailed to me toe following day. The entire process went very smoothly and we intend to use Mr. Roofing when our roof needs to be replaced. All of the individuals with whom we had contact at Mr. Roofing were outstanding and provided a very high level of customer service. If you have roofing needs, Mr. Roofing is the place to go.............they really care about the customer!!

He showed up and it turned out that the amount of roofing was negligible but he charged me anyway. He was done within a very short period of time. I only have like 15-20 ft of gutter. There were no extra charges. It was absurd that he would charge me for the little work he did.

It was this month. It is relative because they partner with the company called Solar Universe. I could break it out by its one big deal. I guess, I would say that they were extremely upfront with the information and they were able to provide me lots of information so that I could make execute deficiency.

I contacted Mr. Roofing in June 2013, and I promptly got a call back from Carlos, the President. His next available appointment for an inspection/quote was a month out, and I booked it. I thought the wait was a bit long, but it gave me time to research other contractors, and become familiar with the process and pricing. When Carlos met us, we were very happy with his approach and explanation of his services. A few days later, we received a quote, and after some negotiations, we agreed on the scope of work, price and start date of the project. We chose Mr. Roofing over other contractors because:

B) Does not subcontract the work
C) The company cares for its employees
D) Highly rated in three sites: Angieslist, Yelp and Diamond Certified
E) Quality work

A day before the project, I met with Roberto, the project manager. He thoroughly explained the project, what to expect and what we needed to do if we had feedback or concerns. He gave us his cell number and said : "Please don't hesitate to call me anytime to give me feedback about the work, and I'll make sure to take care it". And he sure did. Throughout the project, we gave him feedback, and it was quickly taken care of. The team performing the job arrived on time, and cleaned up everyday after their work. The team appeared genuinely happy with the work they do, and it was a fun team to work with. We have a dog, and they made sure she was comfortable. It was my first time replacing a roof, and yes, it was dusty, noisy and messy. But Roberto, Daniel and Jose made sure the inside of the home is covered and protected.
Something to highlight about Mr. Roofing is their commitment to make us happy. Every feedback we had about the work was taken care of, and they went out of their way to ensure every issue was resolved. What I learned throughout this process is that feedback is KEY in getting the results I wanted. Mr. Roofing always listened and quickly acted on the feedback provided.

I am very happy and 100% satisfied with the professional engineering, work, and service from the team at Mr. Roofing. Mr Roofing (which also does business as part of Solar Universe) installed solar panels on my rooftop to produce about 90% of my electricity needs for at least the next 25 years. Aside from the environmental and financial benefits of owning and generating electricity from the sun, Mr. Roofing made it both cost-effective and easy to accomplish
We obtained bids to install solar from a couple of different companies and the project estimate and bid from Solar Universe/Mr Roofing was the most complete and most competitively priced. While the systems proposed by the various project bids varied in details, I was able to calculate and get the best cost per Watt DC (minimum power generation guaranteed by contract) from Solar Universe and then we negotiated an increase in the size of the proposed system at cost of major components listed making it the best solar offer by far. While other companies offered to match the contract bid by Solar Universe, Mr Roofing had the best bid to start with and they beat their own good offer by being flexible and great to work with to increase the system capacity at cost. I borrowed from my 401k to invest in solar panels because no other asset offers immediate and guaranteed pay back every single day of the year for the next 25+ years. I chose Mr Roofing because my retirement dollars are my own hard-earned cash that need to be invested to make a return and pay for itself so that I can live more care-free in the future.

Other companies promised a faster turnaround time because they already had the panels and inverters in stock, but I was willing to wait for the right company with the right price. When the work was done it took only one day to complete the job. They were on-time, courteous, professional, bonded, and their workmanship was excellent.
One hiccup that actually proves that Mr Roofing is dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction was an accidental slip late in the day by a worker who cracked a ceiling dry wall board. They immediately notified me when it happened and swore to correct the problem. The very next day they patched, retextured, and painted the whole ceiling to leave it better than before the accident happened. To top it off, when the Project Manager came to walk us through the online monitoring interface, manuals for our system components, and final inspection sign-offs he gave us a $100 gift card. Don't expect them to have such a nice accident with your installation, but you can rest assured that these guys are honest, comprehensive, and they have integrity.

The inspection scored 10 and that's the best you can get. They are incredibly good people. They explained everything and orchestrated everything real well. The clean up was okay. They gave us a 20 year warranty and also a 50 year warranty.
