Ben did two projects for us… a kitchen remodel and new foyer, and then a couple years later a bathroom, new closet, wood stove hearth and hardwood floors and paint throughout our downstairs. He is super detail oriented to the point of being almost OCD. Our projects turned out great and on budget. "Less than 4 months after installation all of the engineered wood flooring is cupping. Although the manufacturer's installation instructions specify glue-down method (which was the original method we selected, and paid for in the end), Frederick pushed for floating floor installation. The website is very clear on glue-down only for these dimensions, but Frederick has not responded to any communication since December 20. Price of materials+delivery: $3,268.37+$300 Price of installation: $2842.45 Total paid to GC: $6410.82"

"Would dodge the question when i asked for a contract and never wrote one out, broke 2 of my lighting fixtures (they replaced these), 2 window panes (they replacedone with plexiglass which is plastic and denied the other one), got paint everywhere including my front steps, left a truckload of garbage after saying they'd remove all of it, left asbestos everywhere, destroyed $500 worth of crown molding by cutting it wrong, and left beer bottles that they were drinking on the job in my sink.
