Description of Work: I called Mike because of a previous call I had made to him, at that time he gave me advice, he was so pleasant and knowledgeable, that I always knew I would call him when the time came to re-do the lawn.Needed to have front lawn completely re-done, because of rocky and sandy soil we have had little success in 13 years trying to get this be a nice green lawn. At first we thought we could get away with the exisiting sprinkler system, but after getting down to where the system was it was apparent that it also would have to be replaced. This was an extra cost as it had not been figured into the pricing, but it was well within bounds for this type of work. Our lawn had a lot of tree roots, some even showed on the surface. As you will be able to tell by the pictures, it was a LOT of roots. Mike's guy did all the back breaking work of getting all these roots out, then dumping compost and rototilling all before laying the sod. And all of this was done in 2 days, didn't think the timing he quoted (2days) would work, but work it did! We are very pleased with the finished product. He gave us a waterting schedule that we have followed faithfully and now 2 weeks later, it has all come together and no seams are showing. Mike and his crew were very pleasant to work with, even lent us a rabbit trap to catch the many rabbits that are invading us this year.

Description of Work: Searched Angie's list for someone who could help diagnosis a lawn problem. Settled on Rottotillerguy, why I don't know! I contacted him bye-mail and he responded right away. Said he would need to come by and take a look, which he was able to do within the hour, I was near his work site. He is very relaxed and quite frankly told me I didn't really need him, my lawn "problem" was due to my overthinking the issue. The area I was concerned about was dying and I did not want it to go any further, thinking it might be some kind of disease. He assured me that with watering it would all grow back in. And with that and a smile he left. No fee!!! can you believe that! I did receive another e-mail from him shortly after he left, saying he was thinking about our lawn in general and suggested a plan that would help my lawn be more healthy. This plan entailed keeping my 2 dogs off the lawn for about 6 weeks, and I just could not see myself doing that for that length of time. Now how many people would think again about you especially since he made no money off me. But what he did do was to put him at the top of my favorites list and will recommend and use him the next time.

Description of Work: My lawn looked like h***, so I needed the works. He tilled up the old lawn, mixing in compost. He inspected the sprinkler system, and installed the new lawn.
