The reroofing went fine and the callbacks for minor issues were handled professionally and promptly.

Straight Line is very professional. They did what they said they would do, even with the hurdles I put in the way. Changing dates and times. They had to postpone the attic insulation install due to an equipment breakdown, but they reschedules 2 weeks later and did the job. I would use them again.

Project overall went very well. We ran into complications with the gutter due to roof line not being straight. They took the time to look at various solutions before finishing the job to ensure that the best method was used. I am pleased with their work (I have used them before to replace my roof) and would use them again.

It went very well. All work done as contracted for. Just a few very minor communication problems with scheduling the job.

From our initial call to request a quote to invoice payment our experience with Straight Line has been nothing but positive. The operations are very professional and went above and beyond our expectations. Phil our sales associate asked the important questions before even assessing what kind of work we were looking to have done. Were we planing on staying in our home forever, were we wanting to extend the life of our current roof, or just an overall replacement? Scheduling was a breeze and the team showed up right on time. Job Well Done Straight Line!!! When we decide to have our roof replaced without a doubt we will go directly to Straight Line.

No work performed

The initial contact with the company was a very nice man who inspected my roof and told me I needed a new roof. He then went over the paperwork involved and when talking about costs made it sound like they would set up the payment arrangements and take care of the financing. At no point was it clearly stated that I would need to set up third party financing. The roof was done over a two week period and the work crew was wonderful. The tear off crew did not leave a mess around the house, nor did the crew that put the new roof on. They put new vents into the garage roof that face the way the worst storms approach my house and have set up the real possibility that they will leak all winter. When I asked about them I was told they would be fixed if needed and someone came out while I was at work and closed the vents (they are clam shell like) so now they serve no purpose at all. What happens when summer comes is still a question. After I did not hear from them the next month to start making payments I contacted them and they were very difficult to deal with. The girls at the office don't seem to know what each other do and often pass the buck and they basically pulled a bait and switch on the financing. I finally had to cash in a retirement account to pay for the job. Anyone interested in using this company should read the fine-fine print very carefully.

They offered good suggestions for making the skylights open and close easily and conveniently by installing solar motors with remote controls, but they didn't push any unnecessary work. Their work was neat and professional, and they did it quickly. The products and workmanship were top quality.

The last time I had my Sacramento house reroofed and painted I went with the lowest bidder and was not satisfied with the result. This time I decided to find the best contractor I could ? Straight Line Construction. What a difference! Yes, they are expensive. But if you can afford to pay a little more, they are well worth it. First, there is a quality of the materials ? they use only the best of everything. Then there is the quality of workmanship. Every person working on my project clearly took pride in a job well done. They are well trained, experienced, professional and meticulous. Finally, and perhaps most important, is their emphasis on customer service. They clearly want their customers to be happy with the results, and they respond quickly to calls and e-mails. My project turned out to more complicated than expected, but at no time did I find management pressuring the craftsmen to hurry ? they were always allowed the time they needed to do the job right and to my complete satisfaction. Whatever I wanted done I got done, with a smile. You can?t put a price tag on that!

Different teams of workers performed specific tasks. The workers all arrived timely and were very polite. When each of the different tasks were completed the areas were left clean and free of debries. I received follow up calls from the appraiser every step of the way and he was very responsive and prompt in returning my calls when I had questions. Following completion of the job, a company inspector conducted a final inspection of the roof and work.

We met Straight Line Construction at the Home Show in Auburn, CA. They were very professional from the first meeting. The work was done promptly and the cost did not change from original quote. All personnel from beginning to end were polite and friendly. When I called the office all personnel were very helpful and polite. I would (and have) recommend Straight Line for all your roofing needs. It's a great company to work with.

VERY pleased with my roofing job. From start to finish, very professional service. After experiencing other roofers lack of customer service, Straight Line was a refreshing change! And they completed the job in one day!

Arrived promply. Did a professional and excellent job. Israel wa extremely diligent, hard worker and obviously took pride in his work.

Spoke to Brad initially to talk about a maintenance plan. He was very informative and professional as was Michelle who set up the appt. Roger came out to perform the maintenance. He was very thorough and kept us informed of what he was doing and let us know of any additional work to be done outside of the quoted plan. He replaced a broken tile which had allowed water to get under the tile but had not yet created a leak. I am so happy that he found that and fixed it before it lead to a major problem. I've noticed a lot of other roofers with coupons for roof cleaning for a lot less than what we paid but they didn't seem to offer as much with the coupons. We did get a discount for displaying their sign in our yard. I'm very happy with their service and would highly recommend them. Everyone at straight line seem very professional and courteous. Our neighbor used them first and seemed happy with them too.

The woman who answered the phone was an exceptional listener, capturing all details of the situation on the first pass. While not promising an immediate dispatch for our leaking roof, she had a sense of urgency about getting us some help rapidly. She called me back within 15 minutes to tell me Gary was on the way. When he arrived, he had the situation assessed and was on the roof applying the fix within minutes. Knowing that the fix would take far less than the hour we would be paying for, he went out of his way to find other potential trouble spots to defuse, and even blew the pine straw and leaves out of the valleys and gutters, as well as tidying up on the ground afterward. He even gave me some further tips on proactive things I could do to further extend the life of this old roof.

The whole job went very well. The products were all top grade and look great. The construction team left the site clean every day, and respected all landscaping around job site. They came on time and even completed the job faster than promised. The property was a rental, and the communication between the contractor, tenant and us was essential to ensure that the job was completed - all communication was professionally done.

Phil was the estimator. He was professional, punctual and friendly. He verified my concerns and explained the process. The roofers (2 men) were clean, quiet, efficient, and friendly. They avoided plants and cleaned up debris. They even swept my porch before leaving. It was very apparent they took pride in doing a good job. The roof looks great.

They were okay but they were expensive. I got several quotes from them for doing different repair/improvements. I gave thm a shot along on reducing the cost but the response was very minor. I said I was not making a decision today; I didn't hear from them for a month or two later by then I already had somebody to do what I needed at a much better price. They were knowledgeable for the standard work.

I obviously expected a response, but never heard from Straight Line again. As an owner/builder I find the lack of any response from a contractor to be time consuming and unprofessional. I understand they may not be interested in my job, but a quick email would afford me the opportunity to move to the next vendor quicker.

I just wanted to let people know that the established delivery for the materials prior to the job was done in a timely manner. They kept us informed if there were going to be any breaks in regards to the initial construction. The three man crew were always on time and concerned with our property. They did their very best to clean up after themselves. The crew boss was very responsive and informative with any questions we had. We were very pleased with the end result of both of our new decks and we would reccomend Straight Line to anyone.

They were excellent. They said they would complete the job in 3-4 days, but they finished early. They cleaned up so well, you didn’t even know they were there. Their price may be a little, but their service is worth it. Their customer service is good. I did have some questions that they answered them readily.

It took about two weeks to complete the work. Also the Gaf rep. came out and said the work was well done.

The work was done very quickly and very professionally. The roof and gutters look beautiful, I can't wait until it rains!!
