Seriously Impressed. We were kept notified of each days progress and what was to take place the following day. The crew was happy and made the hard work fly by.

The job site was left clean each day. Lucky to have a large enough driveway whereby they used a truck mounted hydraulic lift with a conveyor belt to get materials to the roof. No landscaping, decks or rails was damaged in the process. Crew was enjoyable & happy at work! Great Company! Beautiful job! A scary, daunting, stressful task for us was done with EASE by them!

Overall, the experience was pretty good. They got back to us right away, and we didn’t have any problems. I have two little ones, and they were meticulous about cleaning everything up once the job was done. They did a really good job overall!

They were a very good company to work with. They were professional and their reputation for follow up is good! Their price was reasonable. With the repairs that they’ve done, we hadn’t had any problems, even with the rainy winter. Everything seemed to have gone really well!

It went excellent. They were very prompt and professional. They stayed within budget and cleaned up when they were done. They were very reasonably priced. They are very knowledgeable and gave me the information I needed to prolong my roof 's lifespan. They were able to fit my particular needs and explained the pros and cons of the different types of roofs before they started to work.

The experience has always gone very well, and we’re actually having them do more work for us within a few weeks! Everything they’ve done has far exceeded our expectations. I can’t say anything negative about them; they always take good care of us and have always been incredibly professional. We’ve used them on multiple projects over the past several years, and we haven’t had any problems recommended them to other people!

They’ve done really well! They were great to work with for the roofing; they have their team, did the job properly and promptly. They completed the work within a reasonable time frame, and if something wasn’t quite right, they make sure it is done right. I would definitely work with them again!

The sales person was prompt in answering our request for a bid (providing us with a variety of choices and low pressure), prompt in providing a bid and the bid was very competitive. Straight Line provided a number of sites that they had installed new roofing so that we could visualize the colors and the quality of their work. We contacted 5 of those that had work done and no one expressed any reservations or problems. The old roof was removed in one day and the new roof installed in only 2 days with the siding and windows installed timely basis and minimizing disruption of our home routine. A supervisor was on site everyday insuring that the project was progressing and the plans being followed. After the work was done they did a thorough job of cleaning up inside and outside our home. There were only a couple of minor problems (as there always are on a large project) after the work was done and Dan was quick to respond and correct them. One of the main reasons that we chose Straight Line Roofing was we wanted a company that would be here for years to come and be there to stand behind their product. We have recommended Straight Line to several others and they are still our friends so I guess they like the service and product also. Without any reservations I highly recommend Straight Line Roofing

Mid August received Initial quote and signed contract for 3 new tubular sky lights and new flashing for other flat sky lights as we were having some leaks. Advised at that time I would get a call later in the week to schedule (so a month later they called to schedule...it was only 3 weeks late) Mid September: Finally scheduled the job with Straight Line. Because I was going to be out of town the morning of their arrival, I called and asked several people at Straight Line whether or not they needed access to the house. They told me no, which was the wrong answer. While in the airport, I was called several time because they needed access to the inside of the house. Luckily, I was able to get a neighbor to let them in. By time I arrived at home that same day, around 1pm, no one was here. There was no call from anyone to let me know the job was done - basically NO communication whatsoever. I finally called several numbers provided to me and found out that they didn't complete the job, one of the flashing sets they were sent were incorrect. They told me it would be 1-2 weeks to finish the install depending on when the company sends the flashing. So sometime after that, they apparently came and finished the job. Again, no one called to tell me they were done and I left several messages trying to get a straight answer about whether or not they were done. When I called them because it appeared that the flashing around the chimney hadn't be re-sealed, I was told that it had been (though my husband and chimney cleaner were up there and reported otherwise.) Today 11/8/2011 there was a door tag advising me that they had come and sealed the fireplace flashing. To make matters worse, Straight Line sent me a bill last week even though the job wasn't finished until today! Overall, a very frustrating, prolonged experience. I wouldn't have been so upset if they made more of an effort to communicate with me. That's all it would have taken. I will not be recommending to others. Update: They did contact me several months later to try and make things right which I do appreciate.

The only thing I didn't give Straight Line an "A" on is price. They were much higher than some of the smaller companies, and I considered not going with Straight Line because of that. However, in the end, it was important to me that the job was done right from beginning to end, and I was more sure about Straight Line than the smaller outfilts because I had previous experience with them 10 years ago and because they have the resources and professionalism to to ensure a good result. And they have a great rating on Angie's List. Their proposal detailed what they would do, and the smaller outfits gave a brief letter proposal scant on the details. We did decline one of the items they included in their proposal due to price. Their price for insulation was much higher than 5-Star insulation, so we opted to have that done separately. All the people at Straight Line I talked with in the office and here at the house were friendly, professional, and you can tell they want to do a good job for you. We had one minor concern about the gutters, which had been installed with the downspout terminating at the side of the house without bending away (this would have caused water-wood contact all winter), but on request, they came out and made the necessary changes with no hesitation. At the end of each day, they cleaned up and even carried away some branches I had cut and piled up. Thanks, guys! I would definitely hire them again.

We were very happy with them. They were straightforward and came exactly when they said they would. They were some little things wrong and they came out. They told us where to go to look for the tile. They did it all. We have to put tile or steel roofing in our neighborhood so the price was high but it was about what others were charging. We had a couple of estimates. They had good guys working. We can?t say anything bad; it went real well.

I never got a response from this company. I feel that is very rude. The least they could do would be reply and say they are not interested.

When I bought my little dream house fixer a little over two years ago the number one expense/investment was going to be the roof. I got several estimates, but was most impressed by the professionalism of Jack from Straight Line. He thoroughly inspected my roof and presented me with a packet of materials. We talked about quality, price, etc., (and I had done my homework) and he provided a bid (with 3 scenarios) on the spot. Having several "must dos" on my checklist, it took me a while-- and some saving, to get to the roof. Each time I got close I would check in via email, get a new bid, get other bids even, but Straight Line always came in great on price and followed up. When the day finally came, I was not disappointed. In fact, the day before, the foreman called me (on a Sunday) to remind me they would be there at 6am. They were on time, professional, respectful, I felt I could trust them with my home. Yes, the tear off was a mess, but they cleaned it up well given the grade and circumstance. The next day the shingle delivery was there, the "wood guy" assessed the damages and worked with me to land on a solution I could live with. The gutter guys were great, even came back just today to fix a little thing I mentioned on final inspection. I can't say enough about how pleasantly surprised I was, having braced for the worst. I have heard stories. And, my roof and home look great! Much of my roof is actually visible from the street. Shaunie in the office worked with me on color, provided me with homes I could view, and the shingles are exactly what I wanted. I'm very happy with my experience.

The house is 2 stories and had a 24 year old shake roof which was completely worn out. The gutters were also in terrible shape. I got information on several companies from Angies List, including Straightline. After I called for a quote, Straightline went out the next day to look at the job and sent a quote right away. I also got several other quotes, both from roofers on Angies List and from other sources, Straightline was one of the higher quotes I got, but they were very professional and they also do not use subcontractors. In addition, Straightline had excellent references on Angies List and when I spoke to them, they were very responsive and knowledgable. They were very specific about the materials and the services provided, and offered helpful advice about which roofing materials, gutters, etc. would best suit our needs. In addition, during business hours, someone always answered the phone at Straightline - many of the roofers I called had only answering machines. Some of the roofers I got quotes from were very non-specific about materials, etc. Some of them did not listen to what I needed and wanted, and some of the quotes were unrealistically low and therefore very suspicious. Some roofers did not even call me back. I do not live in the area and so it was important for me to hire a company that I felt would do a good job and would not need a lot of oversight. Straightline performed all services when they said they would and finished on time. They cleaned up after themselves and did a wonderful job. Straightline was polite to the renters in the house and accomodated the renters needs and privacy. They did an outstanding job and kept me in the loop the entire time. I am thrilled with the job Straightline did, it was worth every penny to have the peace of mind that the job was being done right. I cannot reccommend Straightline highly enough, I will use them again anytime I need roofing services.

I found them to be on the up and up. They are very resourceful, informative and honest. They came out immediately after I called them. I think it was the following day. They gave the appearance of being straight forward and honest.

We had been having a recurring leak in our roof and had several companies come out to give either repair or replacement estimates for the roof. The Straight Line guy was very professional in his evaluation, took pictures of the problem areas, assured us that it could be repaired within a specific time frame, and guaranteed that we would not have any leaks after their repair. The crew repaired the roof exactly as he described, then we had some very significant rain storms within about a week and our attic was bone dry! These guys did a great job. I was delighted not to have to replace our entire concrete roof and am going to have Straight Line come out annually to inspect and clean.

They were supposed to provide an estimate for our roof replacement. It took them forever to schedule an appointment only to call and cancel it last minute. They rescheduled the appointment for 10 days later and again called last minute and cancelled it!

I spent about $1,000 on that job. They were recommended by one of my colleagues at work and were prompt and out as requested on time. They cleaned up everything they needed to and did a good job and they were professional.
