Carpet install was the fastest, cleanest, most efficient I've seen. Guys were on time, friendly, efficient. Could not ask for more. Bath demo was excellent; am installing wood floor now myself. Good prep is what makes the job easy; this is the easiest I've ever done. Kitchen and laundry demo and tile install: end product gorgeous. Cannot say enough good things about Morisco and Art. Work habits exemplary, very neat, daily cleanup and vacuuming of affected areas, materials stored neatly and out of the way, etc. Guys a pleasure to work with. Ask for these guys--you won't be disappointed.

Excellent customer service with competitive prices. We recently purchased a new home and had a tight turnaround before moving in. Josh Boyd went above and beyond to make sure we met our deadline. The carpet was ordered and installed within a week. There was a manufacturer defect in one of the rooms and the carpet was replaced a few days later with no charge. We are extremely happy with the quality of the carpet. The customer service can't be beat.

It went great. This is the best contractor we have worked with in this whole remodel. The salesman was helpful without being pushy. The store had a wide variety of flooring products and options. Three different installers performed the flooring tasks. The wooden floor was sanded using a "dustless" system connected to a large vacuum in their van. They cleaned, repaired, and filled all the imperfections out of the floor, sealed it, and applied two additional coats of urethane. The whole process took three days. The whole first day and two one hour follow up visits. The workers were very professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves. The vinyl floor installers moved and replaced all the appliances, heavy furniture and the 1/4-round base shoe. They prepped the floor, cut, glued, and installed the flooring all in one day. These guys were excellent. They kept us informed of what was happening every step of the way. The carpeting installation went smoothly as well. They moved and replaced all the furniture in three different rooms. After removing the old carpet and padding they cleaned up the floors and installed the new padding and carpet. They also were friendly and professional through the entire process. The warehouse had sent the wrong padding initially, but the installers caught it and went back to get the proper padding while the rest of the crew finished removing the old carpet. It did not cause any delay and we are pleased that the installers were looking out for us. Our only regret was in not availing ourselves of the steam cleaning/floor cleaning option that was offered. You have no idea how disgusting the floors under the old carpets can be until you pull them up. :-) When our cabinet makers damaged the new vinyl flooring, Marty took care of us and helped us replace the flooring promptly. His customer service is excellent! We would highly recommend Valley Carpet One to anyone needing flooring, and would definitely use them again.

As a retired CEO of a company dealing with contractors, I speak with some knowledge. This was my first with Angie's List, and I am extremeley satisfied with the material's and work provided my Mr Cohen and his people. I spoke with Mr Cohen, and stopped by his showroom to examine the materials. His assistant, Josh, took good care of me, even extending a discount larger than expected. Josh came to my house, and did en expert measuring job, which saved a lot of waste. His crew (all company employees), arrived promptly on the date agreed upon, and left in less time than allocated, making the replacing of all the objects much faster than I estimated. Josh was the salesman at the store and he did a wonderful job. The people showed up on time to install and did a good job. I was very impressed by the fact that someone from the store called me over a month later to make sure I receive all of the information about the warranty on the carpet. Would use this store again. I am enjoying my carpet.

We bought our first home two years ago, in March 2011. At that time, we picked out some carpet at Carpet One with salesman Mike and put a deposit down. Mike was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He was super helpful with our purchase. At this point, we had figured we would have the carpet installed within a few days if not a couple weeks. However, soon after moving in we found that the sliding glass door leading to the room we wanted to carpet had serious issues and needed to be replaced. In our search to find someone to fix this door, we found ourselves in a bit of a unreconcilable situation -- for most window contractors, this sliding glass door rebuild was too big a job, for house contractors, the job was too small for them to bother with.. Thus what was meant to be a week or two for getting the carpet done ended up dragging on.. first months, then years. Two years, to be exact. That's right -- two years. During that whole time, we were in contact with Marty, Carpet One's manager. Marty was extremely patient and very reasonable -- actually, he was beyond reasonable. He let us know when our carpet came in and was ready to be installed, which was not too long after we initially purchased it. He would check in with us every few weeks (and later months) to see if we were ready to have the carpet installed. We finally told Marty how much trouble we were having with getting someone to replace and reframe the sliding glass door and he referred us to someone who we were very happy with and are still using today for other construction projects. And finally, I'm happy to say, we got the sliding glass door fixed and (in the process had the floor tile removed also) and the carpet was installed. The three guys who showed up to install it were great. Very professional, neat and friendly. They made sure to clean everything up and vaccuumed the carpet afterward. They made sure we liked how it looked and were happy with it. The carpet looks wonderful, very professional and the seams are undetectable. We are thrilled with our new carpeted room! I can't imagine having a better experience with a carpet company and we feel that Marty and his team went above and beyond what we expected and imagined a company would do for us. Marty and the Carpet One team are definitely our go-to carpet team from here on out and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants excellent service and carpet. I went to Carpet One because a friend of mine recommended them. I dealt with the owner of the store, Marty. Marty could not have been nicer, more accommodating or helpful. I picked this carpet that was of high quality. I knew I probably could "bargain hunt" at a discount carpet store, but this time I wanted to know exactly the carpet warranties, and wanted to have good service. I made the right choice. When the carpet arrived it was installed by outstanding installers. They were clean, quick and so capable. However, as the day went on, I felt the color was "off". I did not think it was the color I ordered. I called Marty and he told me to come back to the store to get my original sample. Well, I did compare it, and it was not really the exact color. It was a different dye lot and was slightly redder and darker. Marty told me about the Carpet One guarantee, where they will replace your carpet, "if you do not like it for any reason", within the first (I think )60 days. He told me to wait a few days to see if I might get use to to the new carpet. I waited a week or so and called Marty back. He was wonderful about the exchange. His attitude was that he wanted me happy and he would do what ever needed to be done so I would love my carpet. I ended up ordering a completely different carpet color and style. This week it was installed by the same wonderful installers..I am now one happy customer of Carpet One. They really DO back their carpeting warranty and promises. Mary was such a nice guy and wonderful to work with. I could not recommend this carpet store more.

We recently lost our dog of 15 years who in her last years made a complete mess of the carpeting in our home. The carpet and padding in every room needed to be replaced. Everyone at Valley Carpet One was extremely helpful and patient as we looked at many samples before making our final choice. Everything went smoothly and as promised. At the installation the crew was very professional and took it in stride when they found out they needed to move some heavy furniture that we couldn't do on our own. They cleaned the floors that had some ruined spots from the dog, disinfecting them and putting down baling soda for freshness. I am very happy with the quality of the carpet and the way the whole transaction was handled. I would absolutely use them again for any flooring needs.

Entire experience was terrific. Great carpet - and we had them do some tile work as well. Responsive to our changing schedules for installation - we actually had to have two installation dates so that we could accomodate the painter - no problem. The rooms looks terrific. I recommend highly and will be coming back to them later in the year as our renovation continues.

After initial visit to the store a year earlier, we went back to Valley Carpet One and spoke with Josh again. He was very helpful and personable. We looked at a lot of samples and we even took some home. Josh later came out to the house to measure our carpet.(960 Sq Ft) They were very accommodating and worked with our schedule and we set up a date to install our carpet. A three man crew showed up and did a fantastic job installing the carpet, they were in and out in 5 hours and were very neat and cleaned up afterwards. All in all, a very pleasant experience; no high pressure, extras, or surprises and stuck with the original estimate. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a friend.

Tyler from Valley Carpet One was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He spent loads of time with me and my wife during several visits, showed us many carpet options, and explained each one in depth and how it may or may not be good for us based on our tastes, family, and possible usage. He went above and beyond during every step. And even when there was a small issue after installation, Tyler took care of it in a timely and professional manner. Now that the carpet has been installed and used for a few months, I'm very happy we went with Valley Carpet One. Tyler definitely guided us in the right direction for quality and color to match our needs.

We met with a salesperson, Josh, at their location on Sepulveda. They have a great selection and we were able to take some samples home. Once we decided on a carpet , Josh came to our home and gave us a quote. It was a little pricier than we had hoped but the carpet is of exceptional value. It took a week for them to get the carpet to install (we would have liked it a little sooner) but we are so pleased with the finished product. They installers were finished in less than two hours and it looks great!

My wife and I are fairly detail-oriented and, having finished a remodel two years ago, know very well how the details get lost. Normally, the guy that tells you the price and makes the promises is very likely wrong on the price and the promises were really just well-meant intentions... so you are always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Which was NOT how things went with Valley One.Mike at Valley One (met us in the store, measured at the house, gave the quote) was really up on the pros and cons of different materials, never pushed the sale, gave us tons of samples to take with us, never hounded.The guy that did the instal (Noel?) was smooth, experienced. At no point did you feel like you were getting the cheapest product with the biggest markup being installed by the guy on a learning curve. Just experienced men, doing good work for a reasonable price... felt kind of "old-school".The pergo has been in now for 16 month and still looks great, no issues, and d*** if it doesn't look like real wood flooring... almost. (To my mind, there is a trick to using Pergo... don't try TOO hard to make it look like real wood.)

They did a great job overall! They showed up on time and worked five hours straight without taking a break to finish the job. They helped move the big furniture pieces out of the bedrooms and back in after the carpet was installed. As estimated, they removed the old carpeting, vacuumed the floor, sprayed with an antimicrobial and installed the new pad and carpeting.

Overall, I am happy with the installation of our carpet. Our salesman, Marty, is fantastic and from the beginning never pressured or tried to up-sell us. We told him our price and type of carpet and he found us the best carpet. We actually came away with much better carpet, price and quality, than what we were expecting.The healthy installation was included in the price and I would recommend that everybody get regardless of whether you need it or not. The installers were very professional, courteous, and fast. The only issue that we had was their supplier was not able to provide the carpet as promised and resulted in a two week delay to the installation. This is the reason for a lower grade on punctuality. Otherwise, when the carpet arrived, the installers arrived on time and finished on schedule.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we visited the store we did not feel pressured and felt very comfortable asking questions and learning more about the various products. They were able to give us a very good, competitive price that included a stain guard warranty. Installation was scheduled very quickly. The people that installed the carpet were professional and quick. Overall we were extremely happy with the service we received from start to finish.

The replaced tile and the replaced carpeting look terrific. The workers completed the job in a timely manner.
