Their service was excellent. The installers were on time did an very professional job of the installation, and clean up.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a vendor. Destroyed the alarm system, cut wires, left glue all over the floors & walls and the hardwood installation crew made us feel like we had thugs in the house. The failed to measure correctly for the carpet required two installations. Poor installation of the hardwood forced two attempts to install. Finally had them go away. To bad you can't post pictures, I have it documented.

Installation was excellent. Previous carpet showed the seam. We can't see the seam at all even if we look for it. The installers were prompt and took just a little over an hour for the one room. I would suggest that before deciding on a carpet color to take the time to get a large sample. We do like the color even though it looks different than the 1 1/2 inch square we picked it from. I am just concerned that it might be too light of a color. We have 30 days and can exchange it so time will tell.

The experience was great from start to finish. Tyler was my salesperson and helped me find a great carpet for our room. He arranged a carpenter to replace the baseboards at a very reasonable cost, and he also scheduled the services to be performed on a Saturday morning to accommodate our schedule. The installers were quick, personable, and showed an attention to detail.

They did an excellent job. They came out to do a measure for the estimate and a couple of days later they came and did the work. They did a fantastic job, cleaned up everything. It was actually perfect.

Installation and price/value were fine. My complaint is that they do not perform their transactions like a proper contractor and cannot explain their product or installation warranties: 1. The price was given in a lump sum, no itemization of yardage, material vs. labor costs. Even when the printed "invoice" was supplied it had nothing but the total dollar amount. Not an actual contract. So I'm asked to promise to pay but they promise nothing in writing. 2. The salesperson, Josh, made the statement while I was shopping in the store that because the property is occupied by my tenants, there would be no stain warranty. He mentioned nothing about any other warranty exclusions such as for product defect. In fact he made quite a point that there is a lifetime installation warranty. 3. Because they are located far from my home (closer to my rental property) I told Josh I wanted to borrow samples and make my selection that day and avoid another trip back. I also mentioned that I was putting in new carpet due to my good relationship with my tenants, not because I was obligated to. In no way did I say this was a rush job for installation. Josh kept insisting, later, that I gave him this impression and I had to repeat again and again, NO I just didn't want to make a second trip to Van Nuys. They tried to make it a rush job because my tenants were so excited when they came out to measure. Since when do the tenants get to dictate how quickly the install needed to be done when the new carpet is optional on my part? I then expected he would send someone out to measure and call me with the total price which he did that very day. Again, why the rush? This was late on a Saturday, so he said he would email me the paperwork on Monday. So I gave him my credit card number to charge a deposit. Mistake - don't do that before you get the paperwork, INCLUSIVE OF WARRANTY. 4. Several days went by and I had to contact Josh again requesting my "contract/bid" pricing detail and warranty info. He finally sent the invoice with the one number on it. That had a place for me to sign giving my approval and then he said he had ordered the product two days prior because I gave him the deposit and thought I was in a hurry. Totally backwards! 5. When I gave up on getting an itemized pricing/bid, I then turned to asking where my written warranty is. He then waffled between statements that "there is NO warranty" and no responses when I said "what about the installation warranty" and he evaded answering and just sent me a link to a warranty site...All the fine print saying each and every aspect of warranty is only for owner-occupied properties. They then sent me a link for the actual manufacturer's warranty all of which also said they are for owner-occupied properties only. Again I was treated as though they are giving me the warranty but left to figure out it was worthless. 6. After my complaints, which emails included his boss, he stated that he never told me there was no installation warranty. I said RIGHT! You did. So why did you later state there is no warranty of any kind, even when I said "remember, you touted the lifetime installation warranty when you knew this was a tenant occupied property".... I finally made them add the words "lifetime installation warranty" on the invoice before I signed it. Then, after I signed it, they went silent and I had to prod them to countersign in the space provided on their own invoice form. The whole process seemed to be based on a verbal sale and resistance to putting things in written form. It didn't even occur to him that would protect them as well since they ordered all that product before I signed anything and could have easily disputed my deposit with my credit card company. Very amateurish in my opinion.

Sales person Tyler helped me while I was selecting the vinyl and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I chose an Earthscapes vinyl and am really pleased with the product. Installer Fernando arrived punctually and worked quickly and carefully finishing the job in one day. The installation included removing and resetting toilets, removing old carpet, pad and tackless strip from the bathrooms, prepping the floor for installation and then installing the base shoe molding after installing the vinyl. As I requested, Fernando brought the pre-primed base shoe molding with him that morning so I could apply paint before the base shoe was installed, making it much easier than painting the base shoe afterward. I had minimal paint touch-up on the base shoe when Fernando was finished. The floors look fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to use Valley Carpet One again.

These guys are the best! Joshua helped us and let us take at least 20 samples home to test in the room. He quoted us a fair price and walked us through the whole process. When the installers found that the subfloor was 2" lower than the rest of the house, Joshua came over and proposed an efficient solution. I would definitely use Valley Carpet One again!

They had a problem with the fist floor they did and had to replace the entire floor with another tile.

He was very good. I would certainly use him again. He was very patient.

Met with Marty first and set up a time to bring my wife in to select the flooring. Then Josh came to the house with samples of the wood to go with our cabinets. Mauricio and his team came to house and started the job. I know why this company gets so many great reviews now. The installers Mauricio and his team are professionals and keep the job clean and organized. The carpet installation was most impressive with a crew of men who did not skip a beat while doing the installation. If you need floors this is the place to go. They quoted us probably $6500 or $6600 for their services. They were prompt and on time. The price was right. There was no high pressure and we were happy with the sales person. We chose somebody else to do the job because we decided to go with wood floors. There was one company that put in wood floors for us downstairs 4 or 5 years ago. We were very happy with that and so we decided to go back to them for wood floors. We would consider using them in the future but we don’t know what we would use them for.

They were a good company but we used someone we used before, because the price was a slightly better.

It went very well. A few weeks earlier Tyler had come to do measurements and estimate. Then they came at the confirmed date and replaced carpet in one day. I was not in the area anymore so unfortunately I could not see the work first hand, but I was told it looked very nice.

Very easy - initial choices were made at their store and then all appointments were kept. Installation couldn't have been easier - even with heavy, awkward dining room furniture to move and odd formation of the floor. It looks great and couldn't have been more convenient.

From beginning to finish , Carpet one did an Exceptional job.The phone caus from marty to keep us apprised of eventhough were particularly welcome.Josh came to our house with samples and took measurments.He was great.

There was a mistake from the factory, and there wasn't enough carpet to fit our room. They handled the issue professionally and quickly.

The installation went very smoothly. I asked them to extend the carpet to cover a crack in the terrazo just inside a closet but decided later I didn't like it so they were willing to come back and adjust this small thing. I am enjoying the carpet very much. I wanted to try and be as "green" about selecting my new carpet as possible. They guided me in this process and I am very happy with my choice. Stains have come up very easily despite it not being one of those carpets treated specifically chemically for stain resistance. The fiber itself is naturally stain resistant. And oh so luxurious.

I would use them again. I would have upgraded but that was my fault not theirs.

Carpet install was the fastest, cleanest, most efficient I've seen. Guys were on time, friendly, efficient. Could not ask for more. Bath demo was excellent; am installing wood floor now myself. Good prep is what makes the job easy; this is the easiest I've ever done. Kitchen and laundry demo and tile install: end product gorgeous. Cannot say enough good things about Morisco and Art. Work habits exemplary, very neat, daily cleanup and vacuuming of affected areas, materials stored neatly and out of the way, etc. Guys a pleasure to work with. Ask for these guys--you won't be disappointed.

Excellent customer service with competitive prices. We recently purchased a new home and had a tight turnaround before moving in. Josh Boyd went above and beyond to make sure we met our deadline. The carpet was ordered and installed within a week. There was a manufacturer defect in one of the rooms and the carpet was replaced a few days later with no charge. We are extremely happy with the quality of the carpet. The customer service can't be beat.
