The price was the same as the quote and I felt it was a fair and reasonable price. They were very nice and gave excellent advice on the flooring. The floor has remained in excellent condition for two years. They responded whenever I would call if I had any questions and always came out when they said they would. Everything was done very well. Mike was in charge of the project, and he was very professional and nice to work with. They also did it in a timely manner and finished the job completely.

Went to Angie's List saw excellent reviews for Valley Carpet One. My wife and I dropped by the showroom and were helped by Christine. She was knowledgeable and helped us find the right replacement. Although I had pretty good measurement, she dropped by the same afternoon to double check. We had a quote the following day, and we gave them a deposit. Carpet was ordered and received within a few days. Marty called us to set up an installation time on Monday, and it was done the following day, quickly, and neatly. New carpet looks great. Marty and Christine seem very customer oriented. I will be keeping their number on file for us.

They did very well and I was happy. They were straightforward and did what they said they would do. They gave a reasonable price and kept that price and didn't try to do anything else and they were very courteous.

The existing carpet and padding was destroyed due to flooding. I initially went to the store to look at samples. I brought some home and the salesperson came the following day to provide an estimate. The estimate was lower than another store had provided for the same product. The owner of the other store actually told me that was a good deal and that it's a reputable store. So I went with them. The salesperson told me the installers would not assist in moving any furniture. So I had a friend help me move everything out of the room, the day before. It turned out that the installers had no problem with furniture moving and helped me move everything back after they finished the installation. I also wanted to take the opportunity to run some speaker wire along the walls under the carpet. The installers had no problem with that either. The room now looks so much better than it ever had. The salesperson and the installers were friendly and professional. I will call them for my next carpet/flooring job.

The owner’s name was Martin Cohen. He was very reliable. My sister liked him. We would recommend and use his services again in the future.

So far they have been very good. We didn’t spend any money on the estimate. I was actually not here when they came but my boyfriend was. He said that they were very good. We went back into the store to look at the samples. They did do good work. They just came out and did some measuring around. They got here when they said they were going to and they measured. They didn’t try and pressurize us into anything. They said to contact them in a couple of days and they will have an answer for us. Then they told what it was going to cost. It was a good experience with them. We will consider using their services again in the future.

They were very nice. Their estimate was fair. We thought that they were extremely professional and helpful. They were nice to deal with. The person that we spoke to was knowledgeable. Our overall experience with them was excellent. We went with a different company only because of the timing and convenience issue. We would use them in the future but the only thing that would hold us back from using them is the variety that they carry and it has nothing to do with their work. We don't think that they have the kind of higher end things that we are looking for.

After receiving the price quote for one bedroom to re-carpet would cost over $1,440.00 and we were told that is the sale price not including tax. We decided not to have them install the carpet.

When we "shopped", they answered our questions; told us what they would do; and when we "signed" on the dotted line they simply did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, at the price they said they would do it for. They didn't wash my car or walk my dog, but as far as I'm concerned, they did everything I could hope for from a vendor.

Salesman Mike Sullins has provided great service with past flooring orders......and once again, his service was outstanding! It was easy to select the flooring, and the installation was top-notch. I will continue to use Mike for my flooring needs......

The store experience was great and Marty Cohen is a great salesperson. He helped me find the perfect carpeting and that install was great, flawless, and reasonably priced. The carpet is fantastic. I then went to him for new flooring for my kitchen and we picked a beautiful laminate that looked like my current tiling that kept cracking. He is very detailed in what's required and made sure not to order extra materials. Unfortunately the installation team didn't connect my washer back properly and two days after the install was completed my kitchen was flooded, causing the need for a plumber and removal of the brand new flooring. At no cost to me, Marty ordered replacement flooring (which unfortunately took 6 weeks) and had it installed again at no cost to me. While the kitchen issue was a HUGE headache I feel that what they did to rectify it was fantastic. I'd recommend them anytime.

I went to store to pick out carpeting within the Insurance allowed price. They were on time and pleasant and in and out within 3 hours. Great job.

I called them and asked them if they could do a repair. So they said that they did. I then scheduled one of their installers to come in a couple of days. The installer was very professional, prompt and had all the right tools. He took out the old piece and I had the piece downstairs in the garage. He cut the right section and did a nice job. He cleaned up very nicely and he didn?t leave anything behind. He did a really good job. The person who made the appointment and the installer himself were both professional. The installer came on time too. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

A vandal broke a window to our family room which caused broken glass to embed in our carpet. Our insurance company wrote up a claim and recommended that we replace the contiguous carpet in the family room, hall and den. I did some research on Angie's List and, based on the ratings, selected Valley Carpet One to handle the carpet replacement. I'm glad I did. Marty Cohen from Valley Carpet One came out to our house to get specifications. Marty was great -- professional, thorough and very helpful in explaining our options. Marty also let me know about a program offered by my insurance company that would help simplify the claims process. Marty took a sample of the old carpet and let me know he would send it to the evaluation lab to determine its official value for insurance purposes. After a couple of days, Marty called with an estimate and invited me and my wife to come down to his store to pick out the carpet. When we arrived, Marty had previously selected a few samples for our review and we were able to quickly pick the carpet that would work best in our home. We then scheduled a date and time for the installation. On that morning, a three-person crew arrived on time and immediately began the installation. I thought it would take a while. However, they had it done in a little over two hours. They did a great job, cleaned up everything afterwards and hauled away the old carpet and pad. Marty called later to follow up and see how it went. I told him that everything was perfect. My wife and I are very happy with the new carpet and would highly recommend Valley Carpet One. They did a great job!

First, let me say I looked at their store when we were replacing our downstairs carpet with laminate and tile and we decided not to use them because their prices seemed a little high. I greatly regret that decision because we made a bad tile decision and now we are stuck with it, but if we had used these guys they would replace it for us free of charge. For all types of flooring they have a large selection of colors, styles, brands, etc. They let you take home the samples so you can see what they look like in your home. When our sales guy, Josh, came out to measure he really took the time to figure out the best way to lay the carpet so we wouldn't have to pay for more carpet than we really needed. He was transparent with how he was getting his calculations (I had another place refuse to tell me how many square feet of carpet we would be purchasing???). It took several weeks for the carpet to arrive but scheduling installation went smoothly and the installers were professional and did a great job. They have a lifetime installation warranty and I have already called them up about some minor installation issues. they sent the installers out as soon as they could and fixed the problems without any hassles. They told me to please call if any else came up. This is the kind of customer service I will keep coming back for.

Our third job with Valley Carpet One, can't think of a reason to ever use anyone else. I really appretiate a business that keeps good employees around long term - it's always a good sign.

As expected, our second use of Valley Carpet one went smoothly.

I picked out samples at the store and brought them home for several days. Once I decided on the product, the salesman came to the house to measure the space. Installation was scheduled shortly thereafter. The installer was excellent.

Store has reasonable pricing and good selection. Measurements were performed promptly. Installation was done on time and on schedule. No complaints whatsoever with the work.

IT TOOK SEVERAL WEEKS FOR ORDERED CARPET TO ARRIVE. THE INSTALLATION WAS FAST, COURTEOUS, AND SUPER CLEAN. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.
