OUTSTANDING results! As with our kitchen remodel, Nathan helped us plan the best configuration for our formerly tiny bathroom/closet space, optimizing the area we had. Before: We lived for over 20 years with a small bathtub with a shower head on a hose and a single sink separated by a wall from another sink in the dressing area.. After: In a short time frame we had a sleek, modern oasis that we love to use - a separate glass-walled shower that I could stand in all day, side-by-side sinks, a long beautiful framed mirror that reflects the opposite wall and makes the room look bigger, and another favorite feature - a pull-out stack of shelves in the cabinetry for each of us to store our toiletries. Nathan met us at the appliance store, helped us figure out what would work and what wouldn't and why, and dealt with my finicky finish choices with diplomacy and patience. He realized that a portion of the downstairs ceiling under the bathroom needed to be dropped to accommodate the new shower, and his crew made it work seamlessly. Ethan redid our closets to make optimal use of the area we had, and he and project manager Mike worked with us with great creativity to realize our requests for the look of the closet doors, and for built-in shoe storage, shelving and space organization.Everyone on the Pristine crews did a beautiful job, from demolition to framing, carpentry, tile and fixture installation. We are so happy with the outcome, and would again recommend Pristine to anyone.

Here we go again. We have invited PRISTINE CONSTRUCTION back into our home for a 2nd bathroom remodel. The first job, completed beautifully, within budget and on time, 2 years ago validated our selection of contractors. Desiring the same level of competence and attention to detail as previously, we begin mid October. Our thanks to Nathan of PRISTINE and Angie's List for the original reference. I expect to post a review before Thanksgiving.

The renovation went exactly the way it should in an ideal world. Nathan was meticulous in assuring that all the necessary finishes and materials were selected and at-hand, before the project even began. The crews were scheduled so that there was never a work delay, and the overall work schedule was maintained throughout. Because Nathan allows time for the discovery of unexpected complications, which often occur during renovations in older homes, work is still completed at or before the scheduled finish date. Nathan and his foreman are both very knowledgeable about new materials and innovations, and are familiar with all of the building code updates. They maintain excellent oversight of the work, and make sure that every detail is correct. They expect and get, the highest level of craftsmanship from their workers. The workers are courteous and careful about cleaning the area before they leave each day.
Description of Work: They completely demolished the exiting bathroom, including part of the concrete slab, relocated plumbing, eliminated the soffit to raise the ceiling, expanded into the dead space adjacent to the exterior wall, and installed a gorgeous new bathroom.

I'm one of Pristine's happy repeat customers; about three years ago, they replaced all of the windows in my house and did some work on the interior. When I decided to completely remodel my kitchen and bathroom, I never considered calling on anyone else. The actual demolition and construction will start in a couple of days, and I'll post an updated account when the work is finished. So far, I've met with Nathan several times to work out design details and pick out plumbing fixtures, and with Nathan and Yoni to finalize the details of the new cabinets. Everything is going very well and I'm so looking forward to seeing the completed results--it relieves a lot of the stress of remodeling to have faith in your contractor. UPDATE: This is the second time that I have called on Nathan and Mike for major work in my house, and I could not be happier with the results. I needed to remodel my mid-fifties era kitchen and bathroom. Nathan came to the house and spent hours with me, working out a design for each space that met my needs and budget, and making great suggestions for details and materials. The estimate for completion of the work was about two months; the demolition started on Oct. 8., and the work went so speedily and well that the entire project was finished in just about a month. And that was with an addition of work to the original plan; my old electrical panel was not up to the task of the new appliances, and sorely needed to be replaced, which involved removing the old panel, and installing the new one in a new location (for code purposes), with required stucco and finish work. The remodel didn't require moving any walls, but plumbing in the bathroom was moved, and also, the gas line for the new range. All of the cabinetry was completely replaced, as well as the floors, the plumbing and lighting fixtures, and the ceramic tile. It was a big job, and no detail was overlooked. The finish work on the tiling, the cabinets, the floors and the painting are all beautiful; I am completely satisfied. The guys threw in the extra of repainting my entry and bedroom hall, too. Aside from the reliability and skill that everyone at Pristine brings to the work, they are also wonderful at communication. Although I was not living in the house while the work was going on, I was still in contact with Nathan, Mike or Nicole, their office manager, just about every day. They kept me updated on the progress of the job, and quickly answered any of my questions. I worked with their usual suppliers, and got good prices on the tile, appliances, and plumbing fixtures, all of which were quickly delivered and ready to go when needed in the construction process. The Pristine Construction experience is the antidote for all of the contractor horror stories that you may have heard. They will not quote you the lowest price, but they are definitely great value--and peace of mind in a remodel or construction is pretty priceless, in my experience.
Description of Work: I've contracted with Pristine for a remodel of my kitchen and master bathroom. UPDATE: Complete remodel of existing kitchen and master bathroom, and installation of a new electrical panel.

Pristine did for us major remodeling which the last one was almost two years ago, we called Nathan with few minor repairs and he was able to take care of it fairly quick. Actually both Nathan and mike ( pristine owners) came to our house and was very accommodating of our schedule. They were very happy to see us and we were very happy to see them, we waited about a week for them to come out, no wonder why they're booked all the time, they are truly one of a kind, people that take pride in their work and would give you the best service no matter when you call, in our case almost two years after completion. You can't go wrong with pristine they're very fair, reasonable and honest, what more can you ask for.
Description of Work: They replace one outlet that stopped working, re grout joint of counter and backsplas, seal vanity counter and replace one drawer soft closing slide.

There is little more to say in addition to all the previous great reviews that Pristine Construction, Inc. has received. Our experience was outstanding from beginning to end. I found Pristine on Angie's list and met with Nathan Moses in mid-April. By our third meeting within two weeks, we had a complete scope, cost estimate and detailed design and we signed the contract. Work commenced one month later, per mutual agreement. We spent the interim time selecting tiles, countertops, kitchen appliances and bathroom fixtures (note that cost above does not include those items). Nathan accompanied me to each vendor and had very helpful suggestions. Nathan has an excellent sense of design and I found it wise to listen to him and to use the vendors and product lines he was used to dealing with. The dedicated Pristine crew, lead by Mike Malka, could not have been more professional and helpful. They showed up on time daily, cleaned up at the end of each day and took great personal pride in their work. Nathan and/or Mike showed up every day to check on progress, provide guidance to the crew and answer my questions. Their office managers (Donna and Nicole) kept up frequent email and phone contact to provide information on what to expect week by week, day by day. Their sub-contractors for cabinets (Yoni) and countertops and glass work (Ric) were also excellent. Pristine made every attempt to please the customer and produce a quality product that met our desires. Mike in particular went out of his way to take care of small details and to anticipate things without my having to ask. Pristine certainly went the extra mile for us. We made some modifications to the original plan as we went along, but all work was accommodated within the same timeframe. The original completion date was August 30th but they finished the job and had final inspection on July 26th - more than a month ahead of schedule.
Description of Work: Pristine Construction remodeled three bathrooms (two were a complete renovation, including a master bath) and kitchen and replaced two windows and one exterior door within two months from beginning to end. The finished results are spectacular and speak for themselves - we are thrilled with them.

I had wanted to remodel my kitchen for a while and finally started the process of picking someone to do it. First step I joined Angie?s List. I got a bunch of names and made some calls, sent some emails. Nathan the owner of Pristine was one of the first to call me back. The 4th of July weekend was coming up and he made an appointment to meet with me on a Sunday (wow). We went over what I wanted to do and an estimate of $?s, I will say I was surprised at the $ quote initially, not fully understanding how expensive a remodel is. The next day I met with another contractor for a 2nd estimate, the prices were similar. I really felt comfortable with Nathan so I called him for a 2nd meeting. We sat for 4 hours discussing the kitchen and I decided ?yes? let?s do it, you are my guy. They started the job on a Tues and 15 working days later were finished. The process from start to finish was interesting to watch, I checked in with the crew daily. Mike the project manager was ?always? available and would listen to any questions I had, very nice and a pleasure to work with. The cabinets were ?beautifully? done by Yoni. Every one of the crew was pleasant, respectful and their house keeping skills were great! Nicole and Donna from the office would call me and give regular updates of the week?s schedule, again very pleasant. All and all this has been a fantastic experience and I plan on having Nathan give me estimates on my 3 bathrooms for future remodeling. I highly recommend Pristine Construction! Very satisfied customer, Deanna

We have had 2 meetings with Nathan and just signed the contract. I decided to call him after reading all of the stellar reviews. I couldn't believe anyone could sustain such high ratings. He returned my call very quickly after my initial contact and was able to schedule a visit that worked with our schedule within a few days. We could immediately tell that he really knows what he's doing and takes great pride in his work. We had a few ideas about what we wanted to do in our bathroom and he was really able to help us see why some things would work better than others. He referred us to suppliers that he works with and even gave us a great recommendations on particular products that would work for us. Due to a delay on another job he is going to be able to start our job in less than a month. I'm so excited to get going on ordering everything we need for the job. Nathan will not start the job until everything is in so that there are no unnecessary delays. I appreciate his attention to detail and his years of experience and trust that our bathroom will be everything we want and more. Following up on my previous review since our job is now complete. I could not be happier with our bathroom. It turned out exactly as I had hoped and the construction process was incredibly smooth. I have hired contractors in the past who have made mistake after mistake, not responded to inquiries and just generally did a bad job. Pristine is the exact opposite of this. Our initial meetings with Nathan from planning to picking tile to discussing options could not have been better. During the job, all of the workers were respectful, courtious and prompt. Mike was also a pleasure to work with and was quick to respond to any concerns I had. Even when I decided to change part of the tile literally on the morning they were about to install it he was cool and collected. After doing the plumbing work and starting the tile he noticed that our toilet was not going to be centered correctly and may be to close to the wall for comfort. He discussed this with me and then fixed the problem with no additional charge even though the problem came from how the toilet was set up prior to this job. There was a mistake made with installing my cabinet pulls and rather than patch up the doors to make way for the correct pulls, they made new doors for me. After having our glass installed as we had originally discussed we discovered that it did not function well with the tub. They happily offered up options and then had the glass changed. This involved changing out several tiles and some painting. The only thing they charged me for was the new piece of glass. They even fixed a set of pocket doors in my house that were not working correctly. Because of this my dog got out one day during construction. Mike commented on how the doors were not installed correctly and proceeded to fix them. Finally, they replaced all of the interior doors in my house along with the casing. We ended up upgrading our casing. Once this was done we noticed that a few nearby areas with the old casing were real eyesores. They replaced this casing as well so that everything in this area matched. Again, no additional charge for this. So in summary you get what you pay for with Pristine. I was a little shocked by the initial quote but it was clear from the start that they were true professionals. They did not nickel and dime us during the process and their only goal was to make us happy. They finished ahead of schedule even with the changed that we asked for. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Description of Work: We have hired Pristine Construction to completely gut and remodel our guest bathroom. This includes replacing walls, leveling floors, installing tub and shower with frameless glass, custom building vanity and storage cabinet, installing tile and lighting. They will also be replacing all of the interior doors in our house.

How often do you hear that your friends loved their contractor??? We loved ours! Pristine Construction is owned by Nathan Moses. The company only takes 3-5 jobs at a time so that Nathan can work with each homeowner every step of the way. The first thing that impressed us was his professionalism: he came prepared, has 15+ years of experience, and after looking over the existing kitchen, sat down with us, pulled up kitchen remodel photos on his computer from previous jobs and reviewed them with us to show us the quality of his work, and give us ideas about design details. One of the neat features of his consultation was his software program that allowed us to work on a 3D rendering of our proposed kitchen design and move things around depending on our choices. It really helped us to see how the kitchen could look in various configurations. Nathan discussed with us the basis for his estimate for our job, which was very helpful. The only change orders we had were because of unexpected City engineering requirements due to stability issues that Pristine's crew found when they deconstructed the old kitchen, and a few changes that we made to our plans. He checked in with us daily to let us know what progress to expect, and both he and our terrific project manager Mike were always available on cell phones for questions, requests and comments, and returned phone calls promptly. Nathan also met us at appliance, window/door and tile stores to listen to our wishes, work with salespeople and make suggestions based on our needs. Pristine's crews (demolition, framing, construction, cabinetry, tile, etc.) lived up to the company's name; each day at the end of the job, we came home to a clean workspace - vacuumed and materials were neatly organized in our garage. The guys were cheerful and hardworking, arriving at 8 at our request and leaving at 5 or 5:30. The job was done on time, and with great attention to detail; one example I came home to was the slightly rounded corners on the kitchen counter, which I had forgotten to request - it was done beautifully. Everything from solid construction to tile seams was beautifully done. We LOVE our kitchen, and would recommend Pristine Construction to anyone!

The reason we hired Pristine was the quality of the work done on our kitchen remodel. Our kitchen remodel, combined with superb followup service, made the decision to use them a second time. Nathan and his team were very committed to the project from design through completion. The end result was everything we had envisioned and then some. Pristine is wonderful to deal. They work efficiently. They provide input and feedback that is helpful due to their vast experience. We has fellow small business owners and repeat customers of Pristine place a heavy emphasis on the service and followup. The actual construction is the easy part. Delivering on the promise is something that involves a stronger commitment from your chosen vendor, and trust me when I say this: Pristine delivers.

Many people warned us about dealing with contractors, telling us contractors will give you a 3-month completion date, but take 6 months to do it. My previous experience with contractors supported that claim. Pristine gave us a one-month completion date, but when they started the job, we learned that relatives would be visiting from out of country 6 days before the contracted completion date. Without charging us a penny more, they finished the entire job 17 days early! These people are pros--they know how to schedule a job, and the people they employ are experts, highly trained and experienced, always punctual and work harder than any workers I have ever seen--and at 71 years old, I've seen many. The job went like clockwork and even though we changed our minds on a few things as they were working, they instantly accommodated us without charging more and, in fact, actually refunded us $400 when we switched from several things we had contracted for to different configurations, even though we were not aware the difference would cost less. I would definitely use Pristine again and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Nathan of Pristine Constructions remodeled my kitchen & when I was ready to do the Master Suite, I immediately called Nathan. I didn't even go for other estimates, I know Nathan was the best & completely remodeling a Master Bathroom was a huge job & I knew I was in good hands. Again, he has an outstanding crew. They are so nice & accommodating, always cleaning up after themselves. Just like with the kitchen remodel, they are always on time. I was so worried my bathroom would look cluttered with the new big shower, new tub, & completing moving the toilet to where the shower had been. It not only doesn't look cluttered, the entire bathroom looks larger. You can trust Nathan's vision. He knows what works & what doesn't. You never have to worry if something isn't quite right or you discover something a month later. Just call Nathan, who always gets back to you within 5 minutes, & he will send someone out to check it out & make it perfect. You simply can't go wrong with Pristine Construction. Nathan has his own crew & each person takes such pride on what they do. The custom cabinetry is gorgeous & such high quality. Nathan also goes with you to pick out the granite, Caesar stone, appliances etc. He's with you every step of the way. That really helps because there are so many decisions to be made, it can be very overwhelming. So now my Master bath looks as rich & beautiful as my kitchen!! Thank you Nathan & everyone at Pristine Constructions for never letting me down & doing such a great job!!!!!!!!!!

We have lived in our home since 1985 and had done only minor improvements. We decided to remodel rather than to move to a new house. We researched several contractors, narrowed it down to three--of which Pristine was one. From the beginning I was impressed with Pristine. First, they are not a huge, mega-contractor. We didn't want to get lost in a big company with multiple project managers juggling dozens of jobs. Nathan Moses and his partner Mike Malka are owner-contractors, and they are very hands-on. Once the work began, we saw either one or both of them every single day. Once the work began, their crew came every single day. I never felt we were anything but a number one priority for them. They are a small, quality company that limits the number of their jobs and uses a minimal number of subcontractors. I liked that. With Pristine you won't get lost among countless other clients. Initially, Nathan Moses came to our home and discussed what Pristine could do. He invested quite a bit of time, coming back three or four times, to talk to me and my wife. This was the first time we had ever done anything of this scope, and I was impressed with his willingness to return and discuss our potential remodel. We received bids from two other contractors. Although Pristine's bid was higher than the other two, we decided we had more faith and trust in Nathan Moses and Pristine. We did our homework, read the reviews on line, checked up on references and visited a neighbor only a few blocks away where Pristine was just completing a large remodel. In all cases they received stellar recommendations. And the quality of their work is something you can actually see if you visit any of the homes they have done. This separates them from the others. We waited a short period of time for the actual work to be done. The whole job was to take approximately three to four months--and that estimate turned out to be accurate. We initiated two change orders that may have lengthened the job slightly, but Nathan and his partner Mike Malka were very good about estimating the time the work would take to complete and kept us completely in the loop on all scheduling issues. Costs were also in line with the initial bid and the only cost increases were ones that we initiated. Pristine also has good, solid relationships with appliance providers, tile and flooring retailers, plumbing fixture retailers, etc. and gave excellent guidance helping us select the products used for our remodel. Nathan and Mike are excellent. They are intent on delivering quality and strong customer service. Most of their crew have been with them for several years. They take extreme pride in the quality of craftsmanship they provide. If it's not right, they fix it. They have very high standards. I should also say that they go the extra mile. They do things "the right way" even if it might cost them more time or money. They also did things that went beyond the contracted scope of work--and didn't charge extra for them. For example, they installed extra LED lights, they added an extra window sill above the kitchen sink in Caesar Stone, they sanded down a desk of ours and resealed it--all at no additional cost to us. I found them very easy to work with. Nathan and Mike were always available to me. They were always very responsive to our needs. If I needed information, they provided it. They returned phone calls immediately. They also have tremendous expertise over a wide range of construction areas. Their knowledge of construction techniques is extremely impressive. Nathan and Mike are also men of character and integrity. I admire them greatly. In a funny way, even after four months of the chaos of remodeling, I was a little sad to see them go. I had heard horror stories about the remodeling experience. That was not the case with Pristine. In many ways it was one of the best experiences I've ever had; it was a very creative time. I really enjoyed seeing them transform our home into someplace really special and for that I am very grateful to Nathan and Mike. In many ways they are truly artists. They have developed an outstanding reputation built on the quality of their work and the quality of their character. I would recommend them without any reservations whatsoever to anyone looking for construction services.

My parents just recently got their kitchen and my bathrooms remodeled from Pristine Construction. My parents are living in Long Beach and the company is in Sherman oaks (valley). Its a long drive..not including the traffic! I must say I have gotten many different quotes locally and from other companies offering the same services, the only difference between Pristine Construction versus the competitor , Nathan showed professionalism, was very knowledgeable and very informative about any questions and concerns that my parents and I had. He walked us through the process and informed us the steps that needed to be done (permit, inspection etc.) In the contract that Nathan presented to my parents was very clear and legible. It also provided specifications on each project for the house (kitchen, bathrooms) Nathan and his business partner Mike was very pleasant and was glad to help. He answered all of my questions . The schedule of job task was on time and organized. The other employees that were assigned to work on the house was in fact punctual. They were never late to work...as if they flew a jet to work. Nathan and Mike made sure my parents and I were updated throughout the week on jobs that are already done and upcoming projects that will be scheduled for the following week. The number #1 characteristic that I admired the most is the communication.Mike and Nathan work well together and the flow was very smooth. My parents and I felt very comfortable with them since the beginning.I had no doubt in my mind that they were the perfect fit for the job. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being honest and keep the integrity in your work..
Description of Work: Pristine construction conducts themselves with integrity and pride in their work. Nathan and Mike are very loyal to their clients and treat them like a part of their family. They both listened to my individual needs and made sure my house was taken care of like they would for their own house.Communication was the key that made this whole process smooth.

I am writing this short review just to let the angie's list community know how happy we are with pristine construction. almost two years have passed since they have done the renovation at our home, and no matter how much time have passed, they still offer you the same customer service and friendly attitude as if you were in the middle of the job. I have left Nathan a message and he called me back the same day i have called, all he cared about is our satisfaction. mike came to our house with one their employees, and took care of everything we wanted with the integrity and proffesionalism any homeowner would desire. from our perspective they are excellent in their follow ups and communications. We paid them a very reasonable service charge for the work needed. When you deal with pristine, no matter what is the issue, and how long have passed since they finished your work, you will get the best service from the best general construction company in town. Thank you all at pristine construction inc.
Description of Work: Pristine came out to take care of few minor issues i had from their previous remodel they have done for us, such as replacing toilet valve, repair a piece of tile baseboard, caulk counter top, touch up on vanity, and replace recessed light trim.

We hired Pristine to do the remodel of our house. We interviewed 5 other contractors and viewed their work and interviewed the customers before deciding on Pristine. Pristine was not the cheapest bid but because this was an extensive renovation we wanted someone that we could trust completely. We talked to too many angry people after their construction. We wanted the peace of mind of knowing it would be done right. And now, 6 months after the job is done we are still happy and still glad we chose Pristine. The fact is that they told us they could complete the job in 5 months, when others ranged from 7-9 months. This was a big deal to us because we were staying in the house during construction. Everyone told us it would take way longer. Well, guess what. They finished the job AHEAD of schedule. And even though we ripped out all of our bedrooms and our bathrooms, Nathan and Mike made sure we could stay in the house and were as comfortable as possible. Whenever we had a problem with anything Nathan or Mike responded to us IMMEDIATELY. It was not easy for them to do that much work with us staying in the house but they totally accommodated us. On a job this big on a 1930's house there are always problems that come up, but Nathan and Mike would always address the problem as soon as possible. Tiny things still come up and Nathan and Mike are there even though to make sure we are happy even though they have been completely paid. I think one of the clearest examples of why we are so happy is when we picked tile that did not have ceramic finishing pieces. We HATED the metal pieces that were about to be installed. Mike and Nathan showed up and figured out a way to create the finished look that we wanted by polishing the edges of the tile so we did not have to use the metal. Every day we go into our bathrooms we are so happy. They didn't even charge us for the metal material. The fact is that they do quality work, with a personal touch, in a reasonable time frame. I can't think of anything else you would want.
Description of Work: Our remodel required demolishing the back of the house and all of our existing bedrooms and building a new back two story addition.

Overall, they are very professional and friendly. They always kept me updated daily on what the next step was for the remodel. Anytime I had a question, Nathan or Mike were always available to talk to me. They and their workers were always prompt and did a great job cleaning up after the remodel.
Description of Work: I am very pleased to have used Pristine Construction to remodel my bathroom. They were very friendly, attentive and professional. Nathan and Mike are great to talk to and were always available to answer questions whenever I called. They had a great team of workers who came and worked professionally and who were also very friendly. Also, they offered to do a few miscellaneous touch ups for me at no additional cost. I am so pleased to have a wonderful new bathtub(instead of stand up shower from before) and a new modern and more spacious bathroom. I really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend my family and friends to use them for all remodeling services.

Unfortunately, I never received a response after having left 2 phone messages. On the 2nd call, I indicated where I live and if it is too far or they were otherwise not interested in seeing the job, I asked that they just leave a message to that effect. 5/9/13 I am updating my previous review. As it turns out, Pristine was having difficulty with their service provider for the last 3 weeks or so. Nathan called as soon as he was able to retrieve his messages and set up an appointment right away to review the project. He arrived punctually; was very personable and he made some very helpful suggestions. Whether we decide to go ahead with him or not, I am glad to have this opportunity to correct my earlier review.

Wonderful ! I have laid out the sequence and specifics above. See photos of our new, lovely kitchen !
Description of Work: We completely remodeled our kitchen taking out everything down to the studs. Pristine construction did a fabulous job. Nathan Moses, owner, helped us plan and design the new kitchen. He also helped us choose new materials. Nathan accompanied us to stores that provided great materials, appliances, etc.. His advice and expertise were invaluable. The workmen tore out the old, old flooring, cabinets, sink, lighting, and removed all appliances. We put in a new double glass sliding window. Electrical and plumbing work was implemented, all to code with permits as required. Most drywall was removed as some mold had started behind the sink. New insulation and drywall went in. Walls were primed and painted. The ceiling was replastered and recessed lighting installed. The wood flooring was installed and covered while the rest of the work progressed. The custom cabinets and quartz countertop were installed. Tile went up as backsplash. Under cabinet lighting, crown molding on top of cabinets, a corner unit of shelves were all completed. Appliances were installed. Those are the facts of the remodel, but others aspects impressed us as well: First, each day after work was completed the area was completely cleaned up! This fact alone made the remodel bearable ! Second, the workers were easy to deal with, and the communication with Nathan was excellent, contact was easy, and on a daily basis we were informed about the work. Third, Nathan took care of any problems that came up. For example, the countertop color we desired was unavailable in LA so Nathan scoured the area and found the right slab in Anaheim. I always had complete confidence that everything would be handled ! Fourth, the remodel finished several weeks early. Yes, let me say it again, the estimate was for a 6 week project and the kitchen was finished in 4 weeks!!

I had an excellent experience with Pristine Construction and Nathan. I read reviews for several months before I decided to contact Pristine. I wanted to have my two bathrooms completely redone. However, I needed a lot of help to decide on my options. Pristine Construction had an extensive set of photos on their site and had the type of modern look that I wanted. I talked to Nathan, the owner, and we set up an appointment very soon after. He brought along his laptop and we spent about an hour going through his gallery of jobs that Pristine Construction had completed. He and I sketched out a plan on the spot. He was able to give me a detailed estimate (with the Angie's List discount) and the milestones before he left. At a later time, he and I made an appointment together to pick out tile and plumbing fixtures. Both of the places that we went to had massive showrooms for me to see all of the options. One thing that I liked: Pristine Construction only does a handful of jobs at a time and I think they have a relatively small, dedicated crew compared to other, larger contracting companies. I had scheduled my remodel many months in advance, but Pristine started the exact day that we decided and ended on the exact day that we specified. Nathan, the owner, has a notable skill, which is that he is a meticulous planner. At least for my two bathrooms, he had things planned down to the morning and afternoon. He anticipated the next steps and contacted me whenever there was something that I needed to do; in each instance, it was well in advance so that I had time so that I could make decisions. Every other morning or so, I got an update from Pristine's administrative assistant Nicole to get an update on what the guys were going to do each day. They showed up each day between 8 and 8:30 and cleaned up after they left at around 5PM or so. One night, the guy who was laying tile stayed late to keep to the schedule. I think the price of my remodel may have been higher than some competing contractors but I was willing to pay a premium for the level of attention that my place got and for everything going to plan. It was an terrific experience overall. My new bathrooms look perfect, like you'd see in a five star hotel room, and it came on time and on budget.
Description of Work: I had two bathrooms completely gutted and remodeled. I had new showers, new tub, new toilets, new tile, new glass, and new vanities. They put a T in my sinks to turn one sink into two separate sinks and installed new fans and lighting.

As an Interior Designer, I have worked with many contractors in the past and Pristine Construction is a breed apart. I am all too familiar with the contractor who tells you that everything you want is so difficult or close to impossible to pull off. Only to witness in the end that they have somehow overcome all odd's and miraculously deliver on your plans, but not without your constant supervision and need to manage them from beginning to end. I recently read a book that calls this behavior "Contractor Kabuki". This time I took great care in my search for the right contractor to remodel my 70 year old bathroom. Angie's List lead me to just the right match! Working with Nathan, Mike and the entire construction team at Pristine Construction was in a word, painless. I will even go so far to say that it was enjoyable, even fun. This speaks volumes considering I have only one full bathroom which required my husband and I to find showering arrangements elsewhere :-/ . The job was estimated to take 4-5 weeks and everything was seamlessly completed on time, and on budget. The best part of working with Mike and Nathan? I did not have to micro-manage and look for things that may have been missed or needed more attention. They were on top of every little detail and mediocre work was not an option for them. I plan to post before and after photos so that you are able to see the beautiful work Pristine Construction has achieved. Thanks to all involved!
Description of Work: Complete renovation of 70 year old bathroom, per plans and elevations provided by homeowner. This included moving all plumbing and fixtures which required stripping the room down to the studs. Pristine Construction used building methods consistent with a those used when the house was built in 1939. No shortcuts were taken and the quality of craftsmanship shows in every detail.

Pristine does wonderful work. They do great followup to insure things are in order after the job is complete. The drawings they supply are computerized and give you a great perspective on the finished product.
Description of Work: This review is to let the Angie's List community know that we were so pleased with our kitchen and guest bath remodel that we have hired Nathan and his team to do the remodel next month on our master bath. Enough said.

Its started with the right plan design with by nathan, who displayed the design on his laptop computer, so we could imagine the results. the next steps were the selection of the granite, tile and kitchen appliances. instead of letting us flounder on our own, nathan met us at the granite yard to select two beautiful slabs of granite, which he then arrange to take to their storage place. Then, we followed him to two tile places to select the floor and backsplash tile. finally, he went we us to the kitchen appliance store to select all the appliances, making sure the dimensions were correct. It was absolutely fantastic to have his advice and presence during that process. he gave us a start date that was accurate and timely. During the construction, either he or mike, nathan's partner, would visit the site daily to check on the progress, and ensure the process was going correctly. We appreciate mike's attention to detail and how helpful he was when we needed advice, even about thing that have no relation to the job. One additional aspect we enjoyed was an early morning phone call from the office manager, who informed us what we could expect to happen that day. all of these things, made the process of demolition and re construction not only bearable, but existing and rewarding. we now have the kitchen of our dream. It is not only beautiful but also so functional, we don't mind not having our own chef and butler. Our new kitchen is everything we desired and we love it! We would definitely recommend pristine constriction inc to anyone doing any kind of construction.

We met with Nathan Moses in August 2012, to discuss remodeling our hallway bathroom and kitchen. We were going get other bids from contractors, but we knew after meeting with Nathan that we wanted his company to do the job. From the start, Nathan, Mike and the office manager were always responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. The office manager was excellent in keeping us informed about what work was being done each day. The crew always showed up for work each day on time and were very professional. Before the remodeling began, Nathan spent several hours with us assisting us in choosing our appliances, countertops, and tiles. Nathan has an excellent eye for detail and color. He was excellent in helping us choosing the materials our bathroom and kitchen. With Nathan you do not need to hire an interior designer, and you will be saving some money. We have used other contractors before and this by far is the best one we have ever had. The quality of their workmanship is exceptional. I highly recommend calling Pristine Construction, Inc. first. They are a no regret option.
