Consequently they are the only company we've worked with a second time. They are extremely professional. Their standards for quality workmanship are very high and they do what they say they'll do, when they say they'll do it. They have a strong network of suppliers and whether Nathan or Mike is leading your project, they make you feel like your project is their top priority. They have a lot of experience and offer great ideas for layouts and solutions when a problem needs to be solved. And they are great with communication. They keep you informed as to what's happening and they respond quickly if you have a question or want to talk about the work in progress. Our experience has been excellent and in both cases we have been very happy with the work. We will call them again and give them the highest of recommendations. You will not be disappointed if you work with Pristine.
Description of Work: We hired Pristine Construction twice, first to remodel our kitchen and guest bathroom and then just recently to re-do our hardwood floors, drywall, replace insulation and paint after a major water leak in our condo building.

 + 16 moreI was skeptical of remodeling our kitchen because you hear so many horror stories about contractors taking too long, charging more than they say, flaking out, etc. My husband and I were in disbelief at how OPPOSITE Pristine is from that. Pristine Construction is exceptional. I don't think I have ever encountered a better company.... and I have very high standards! Nathan and Mike are not only true to their word, totally professional, and incredibly knowledgable, but they are 2 great guys who are fun to hang out with! They make you feel like you are their only client. Pristine Construction really does care about you as a person and they take a great deal of pride in providing the best service and best quality work. Also, the designer they had design our new kitchen was incredible. The layout of our finished kitchen is gorgeous. We are extremely happy with everything Pristine and their sub-contractors did. Our kitchen remodel was worth every penny. Their price was reasonable and similar to other construction companies around. Nathan and Mike and their crew helped us better our lives and we are eternally grateful. You will not find anyone better in Los Angeles!

 + -1 moreIf I could give this company a 10, I would! I am a retired interior designer who has worked with many contractors. None have been as competent, professional, and considerate as Pristine Construction. Pristine was not the lowest bid, but I hired them because I knew I could work with them and liked the suggestions that Nathan suggested for the plans that I designed. It is hard to live with a team of strangers for several months and the overall construction itself is stressful because you have to empty the rooms and still try to have an organized life. But Pristine worked to make the disruption as minimal as possible. The workers arrived early, worked diligently, and cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day. They even worked the day after Thanksgiving. Love the result!

Thanks to Nathan, Mike and his great team for making what is supposed to be a nightmare into a great experience and for giving us the outcome we could only dream about. Nathan said his goal was for us to be 110% happy… and we are! From Nathan’s designs and constant reassurances, to Mike’s “can-do” attitude, to Sabino’s expertise, to Milton’s perfectionist painting, to Faustino’s friendly smile and Jesus and David’s consistent clean-up, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole Pristine family and would recommend them to anyone. They are not the cheapest in the market, and don’t apologize for that; but we wanted our project completed professionally, with attention to detail and on time and Pristine truly delivered!

Everybody from Pristine Construction did their job in the most professional and honest way possible. Through Angie’s List reviews, I came to know their reputation. And these reviews helped me to contact Pristine. The reviews were written in a way that I saw and experienced personally the good things about Pristine Construction. My wife and I were impressed from the start. Nathan and Mike listened to our needs and tried their very best to fulfill them. In my opinion, the crews and staff are the best in their field of expertise. Throughout the project, not only our 1950s-built house had kitchen upgrade, but also had other upgrades done. These other upgrades were done without sacrificing the timeline of the project. My family are all thrilled with the result of the project. I am proud and right in choosing Pristine Construction. I will choose them again on my next home improvement projects.

 + 2 moreI am sorry it has taken me this long to write my glowing review of Pristine Construction! They completed a kitchen remodel for us in February and we are thrilled with the results. In the past we have had some nightmarish experiences so we were reluctant to take this project on. But after reading all the positive reviews and meeting the team in person we moved ahead and we are so glad we did. From the start, Nathan patiently worked with us to draw up the plans, scope of work, budget and timeline. His expertise and suggestions made all the difference in ensuring we made the most out of the space we have. He met me at the tile store to select the backsplash, he has a good eye for design and style. Once the project got underway Mike was on site overseeing their own personal crew for flawless execution. Mike also lent his expertise in helping me to select final touches like drawer pulls, kitchen faucet and lighting. The crew were courteous and neat. Every day I received emails or phone calls from Emma in the office updating me on what was happening, who was coming and going, when payments were due, etc. I felt completely looped in and reassured at the overall coordination of all the people involved. This is a top notch company. The project was completed on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the results. Even my children's friends remark that it looks like an HGTV remodel! Nathan and Mike are honest, detail oriented and very professional. It was a pleasure to work with them. We would recommend them to anyone and already have!

 + 10 moreI am very pleased with the results of my remodel of two bathrooms. With Nathan’s initial design assistance to Mike’s daily presence at the job site. Their crew did an excellent job even working through unknown plumbing problems that were encountered. They cleaned up at the end of each day and quickly corrected any issues that arose during the remodel process. I would recommend Pristine for any quality remodel project. They even replaced a couple of lights for LED and added a cabinet to my kitchen.

 + 14 moreNathan and his team did an amazing job! The kitchen feels 50% larger though the square footage is the same, and the work was impeccable. Everything was on time or early, and on budget other than upgrades that we requested. Nathan's design sense is exquisite. The team was neat, organized, and even very kind to our elderly dog who seemed to enjoy watching all the activity. I have absolutely nothing but the highest praise for Pristine, and will settle for no other company when we need work done to our home again.
Description of Work: We undertook a MAJOR redesign and renovation of our nearly 20 year old kitchen. The project included redoing floors, repainting, and finishing details in the entire first floor of our house. New appliances, new cabinets and counters, new island, new ventilation ducts -- the works. We also had the exterior repainted and a new barbecue grill built in to the patio with electrical wiring.

As part owner and designer, Nathan comes to discuss your goals and holds your hand through the whole planning process if you want. Mike, also part owner of Pristine, is on the job everyday making sure everything looks perfect. Their crew is top notch skilled. Attention to detail is a hallmark of Pristine's crew as well as regarding Mike's and Nathan's expertise. Cooperation and responsiveness from our first meeting and initial plans, throughout construction, and when needing changes makes working with Pristine very easy. Pristine's positive approach in pleasing its customers and offering overall and detailed suggestions makes this company especially great. The crew was here promptly everyday, so unlike the horror stories one hears. Scheduling is well planned and efficient. In addition to Mike, Nathan and the crew, Pristine's friendly and professional office manager, Emma, provided almost daily communication regarding work scheduling and updates. I got their name from YELP and Angie's List and agree completely with all the positive comments. Nathan and Mike are very helpful and easy to work with. They're already preparing a bid for our next job (replace the upstairs flooring and banister), so that should tell you how satisfied we are with them.

Co-owner and Foreman Mike headed up this particular project from the beginning right through to the end, and as usual, we couldn't be happier! Both Mike, Nathan and their crew are top notch. Totally stress-free experience . . we just handed over the key to the house and trusted each and every person to take care of our precious home. We're so spoiled now that we wouldn't do any more remodels without Pristine. Why would we go anywhere else? They contained the area for dust and debris from being everywhere. They made the process smooth and easy. Everyone who works for Pristine is a craftsmen at their specialty. If something is not done to your liking, they will make sure to get it right. They do first rate work. They are not inexpensive but you get what you pay for with Nathan and Mike. They go to great lengths to make sure the customer is happy. They get themselves personally involved in their work and give you and your project the attention it requires and deserves.

 + 29 moreAfter a year and a half of enjoying our first huge renovation with PRISTINE CONSTRUCTION, we realized it was time to beautify our home with their exquisite touch again. This time we focused on our daughter's room, which was just a room. Once again, Nathan came up with an incredible design which made her room into an elegant, hotel like, bedroom suite! French doors to our backyard with an amazing brick step down, double, walk-in closets and a to die for whimsical bathroom. Demolition, pouring of new extended foundation and framing started promptly on July 5th. Within a week and two days, the framing was done! Incredible! We love Andy's framing due to the devoted workers he sends. Plumbing, electrical and HVAC came next. Nathan spent personal time with us picking out plumbing fixtures, tile and flooring. What a Godsend he is. Mike was over practically every day checking on the details. The cabinetry whiz, Yone, specially designed our daughter's desk, bookshelf and bathroom cabinets and even added a special hair dryer plug inside one drawer! Pristine Construction worked on our project as if it was their own home. Never did we experience one headache, which in this day and time is rare! The incredible patience of Nathan and the detail-orientated kindness of Mike was much appreciated. Emma at the office gave us daily updates on scheduling in such a professional and sweet way. Our daughter was very much a part of the design of her room and she was speechless when it was finished. Leave it to say, she is the envy of all of her friends! There is only one more small area of our house that needs to be redone. You can know for sure that it will be PRISTINE CONSTRUCTION!

It was a tough job, entailing re-doing our messed-up heating system and coordinating it with a new air system. Nathan told us each day what to expect the next day, and his estimate for the duration and cost of the job was accurate. The crew on the job started promptly at 8 every workday, worked steadily and cleaned up before they left each day. 'Pristine' is an accurate description for the caliber of work this company does! I should also say that Pristine remodeled our kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms prior to this job, and I highly recommend this company.
