We reviewed several companies on Angie's List and met with two. Nathan from Pristine gave us a great deal more confidence than the other company. Nathan came to our house and worked out the cabinet, counter, appliance and fixture layouts for all rooms on his laptop. He had pictures of many previous jobs that showed different styles and colors. He listened to our prioritization of "must haves", "like to have" and "we are open to suggestions". His suggestions were all excellent. His sense of which materials, colors and styles go together is marvelous. He brought samples to our house and accompanied us to the tile store and the kitchen/bathroom fixtures store to make selections. When work started, Nathan and his partner Mike were at the house almost every day. The workers were there everyday, sometimes a couple sometimes several people. Not only are the workers highly skilled and attentive to details, they are all very pleasant and had some very good suggestions regarding details. They worked hard and cleaned up at the end of the day. As with all such major jobs, occasionally things come up during the work. We could always call and either Nathan or Mike would respond. The final product is beautiful. We are pleased with everything about the experience. Anyone who wants top quality results with high attention to details and service should call Pristine. We will recommend them to any family, friends or neighbors who are considering remodeling.

We were referred to pristine construction by a friend that had similar work done, Nathan came and did for us complete design of our kitchen, he had very valuable input about layout and materials. Once work started it went very smoothly and professionally. The work was supervised by Nathan and his partner Mike, they work as a team for many years and you can tell they have tremendous experience in the remodeling industry, they are top class contractors. Pristine construction workers worked really hard every single day making sure the job is done on time and budget. Everything we were told about there was true, we didn't have to supervise the job ourselves, they were on top of every detail of the job. We appreciate Pristine construction on delivering what was promised and more. There dedication to customer service did not waiver from start to finish. We can't thank them enough for a beautiful custom kitchen, and will call them back to work on our bathrooms. For anyone who wants hassle free job, they should be your only call. One of the things we like the most is their responsiveness, whenever we had a question or concern. We will refer them with no hesitation to all our friends and family members.

It went like clockwork--the new bathroom is beautiful. I am completely satisfied. The old boxy shower stall has been replaced with a gorgeous glassed-in walk-in shower with a built in bench seat. The tile is a work of art. With the addition of a circulation pump timed to provide hot water when and where we need it, the house is now water efficient in a way that it has never been. Nathan, Mike and their crew did the same great work that has been my experience with them on every previous project. Their attention to detail really shows in the final results, which are spectacular. They are generous with their time and attention, do more than the job requires, and are just generally patient, helpful, and nice. Their suggestions on this project were always helpful and well thought out. The work finished on budget and on time, even with the additions that we ended up making to the original job. The major work I had planned for my house is pretty much done. It's a testament to the guys of Pristine that I can say that I'll miss seeing them! It has been a real pleasure to work with them, and they have helped make my home into a place of real comfort and beauty. Thanks to them, I'm one of those lucky people who can say, "I know a great contractor."

I truly can't say enough about our experience working with Pristine Construction. I originally contacted Nathan and Pristine based on a recommendation from close friends. The quality and attention to detail in the work that they have performed for us has definitely surpassed our hopes and expectations. Nathan and Mike were a pleasure to deal with and both were incredible in their suggestions and guidance throughout our project. They were always very responsive to our needs and if more information was needed, they provided it. They always returned phone calls immediately. Nathan came with us to help pick out the stone and tile and then again to pick out the hardware and lights. The ownership that these guys put into their projects is really undeniable. I would highly recommend Pristine Construction without reservations to anyone looking for construction services.

We were referred to Pristine construction by a friend who used their services few months ago and was so happy from the results of his kitchen remodel. Our first meeting with Nathan was anything you can expect from a professional contractor, he has great personality, friendly and accommodating, answering all our questions.(and we had a lot of them). What we like the most about their services is that they are dedicated to five projects at a time so you can get very personal attention. When work started we met with Mike, Nathan partner that gave us a great input of his own. Our job went smoothly from start to finish, passing inspections with ease, installing custom cabinets, countertops, electrical and plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile work and so on, anything that needs to be coordinating in the kitchen remodel was Coordinated harmonically. In the beginning we thought it's going to be a big deal, but dealing with these two great guys and their workers was painless experience. Everything our friend told us about them was true. If you're looking to renovate or add to your home, don't waste your time and money, just call them, you will not regret it. We didn't need to manage anything they did everything for us. We thank them for the beautiful experience and a beautiful and results and would give them the absolute highest rating possible. We have more things to do to our home, when time will come to do so they will be our one and only call.

We got three bids and settled on Pristine. We are so glad we did. From start to finish, this job was done with the highest level of professionalism and attentiveness. When we were collecting ideas and bids, Nathan Moses, who is the owner of Pristine Construction, visited our house and sat with his computer in our old kitchen using a professional design program to lay out ideas for our kitchen complete with three-dimensional views/rotations. There are so many decisions that have to be made and this experience really helped us. Nathan was extremely helpful in helping us define our vision, not in a pushy way but with very light and subtle and helpful touch. Nathan also went with us to purchase appliances and helped with all the decisions including the stone for the counters.. The entire Pristine team was engaged in our project and made every effort to make sure we were happy with the outcome. The managers were at our house almost every day and only a phone call away. The Pristine team cleaned up every day, and they worked at the house every day, making sure the work was completed on schedule. When a tile was installed and had a stain, Pristine removed it and installed another, just to make the job 100% perfect. Nathan said it would take 6-7 weeks and that was exactly what it took. Several change orders were done for free. We had complete trust in Pristine and gave them the run of our house day after day. They proved that our trust was well placed. This wasn't the cheapest, but it was the best and the best value for the money. On time and on budget. We couldn't be happier. Now that the job is done, we miss the Pristine crew coming over to our house. They seem like members of the family.

We've hired Pristine Construction in the past to remodel the kitchen in our former home. The project turned out well so we hired them again to remodel one of our bathrooms. The bathroom remodel was spectacular! The entire team is professional from beginning to end. The team does a great job of providing updates of the project status, reminding us of upcoming items that need to be purchased, and letting us know what will happen in the next stage and when payments are due. Communication is key to the success of the project, and Pristine does this exceptionally well. Nathan does a great job of measuring the area and providing feedback of what will and won't work in the space given his extensive experience. We especially appreciate their attention to detail across all aspects of the project. Their tile work is exceptional -- no tile is out of place! We've had no issues whatsoever since the remodel -- everything works as expected and there hasn't been a need for return visits for items missed. Hoping to rehire them in the near future for more projects!

Pristine Construction and owner Nathan Moses once again live up to the company name! We had already used Pristine for a kitchen and master bath remodel, which we loved (see our reviews from 2013), and went with this company again because their work was exemplary in every way. They came through on this job as well. Crews arrived on time, worked steadily (as we could see when we returned home from our jobs each day), and cleaned up at the end of the day. Nathan spoke with us evenings to discuss upcoming work, and as before, made himself available for any questions. The job was done in six weeks, and there was no punch list - both bathrooms were completed as agreed. One piece of advice Nathan gave us was particularly helpful: we kept the basic footprint of each bathroom (there was really no room to expand, and new fixtures went where old ones had been located) - this kept our cost down. We did replace a bathtub with a beautiful glass-walled walk-in shower. In the powder room, a really dated shower got a terrific makeover, and as you'll see from the photos, it looks great. Nathan was able to make the most of a very tiny space by wall-mounting the cabinet on which the vessel sink was placed directly across from the shower. When the shower door was opened, there was now room for toweling off, which prior to the remodel, required Twister-like dexterity. We plan to use Pristine again next year, when we've saved up enough to do another project. We highly recommend Pristine, Nathan, his project manager Mike and Pristine's crews.

I just finished my project with Pristine Construction and I can't tell you what a wonderful experience it was. Mike and Nathan are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. They did everything they promised (and more). One example of this is, Mike had promised that the water would be hooked up in the kitchen on a certain day, and he knew I was anxiously waiting for this and drove out of his way late in the day to keep his promise. When I thanked him, he said "I always keep my promises" . I have to say, this was true during the whole project. My kitchen and bathroom came out better then I could have imagined, due to their great ideas and experience. Mike and/or Nathan came by every day and also called me to update me on what they were going to do that day and then what had been done. Their crew was very courteous and cleaned up every day. They even finished earlier then promised! Don't waste your time interviewing other companies because it is just a waste of time- they are the company to hire. I will definitely hire them again for future projects!

Fantastic! Pristine Construction is excellent! They came out and repaired the tile work after 2 years of original service for very minimum charge. They were very respective of me and my home. I would definitely hire them again. You can call them anytime and they will be as responsible as if you were in the middle of the job.

I met with Nathan and we worked out the details for the remodel. The old shower is going to be replaced with a walk-in shower for increased accessibility; new vanity; new plumbing fixtures, tile, and finish work. My previous experiences with Pristine have been so positive that when I decided to do this work, I never considered calling anyone else. I love my kitchen and the bathroom that they have already remodeled, and I am confident that I will love this new one as well. Nathan was, as always, extremely helpful and full of good suggestions for design, layout and the details that will make the bathroom work the way we want it to. I will be posting a follow-up when the the work is complete.

Pristine Construction was OUTSTANDING and we would definitely use them again! From the very beginning when we contacted them as one of several contractors to get a bid they were extremely responsive, professional and supportive to us. We first met with Nathan and he extensively reviewed the scope of the project providing us with computerized models of what the project would look like when completed and it allowed us to make changes and get a picture of what that would actually look like. When we decided to hire Pristine Construction and set the date to start construction several months later they began working on having all of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets custom made so they would be ready for installation without any delays. That was terrific! Mike and the crew that he had working on our home could not have been better! They were incredibly neat in their work cleaning up completely at the end of each day. We were in constant contact with Mike and felt like all of our needs were being addressed and met. They are extremely professional and we could not be more pleased with the end result! We looked at several different contractors and did significant research on the requirements and needs of the project. Pristine Construction was not the cheapest bid that we received, but they were also not the most expensive. My wife and I had a gut feeling that these guys knew what they were doing, they were completely honest, totally professional and did top quality work. We checked their references and heard all of those things before we made our decision. We could not have made a better choice and we highly recommend Pristine Construction and we would absolutely use them again. We have heard nightmare stories with contractors. We are so grateful that with Pristine Construction our experience was OUTSTANDING all the way around! My family has a big smile when they walk into our new kitchen and bathroom!

When it came time for updating a home office, our first inclination was to call Nathan and Mike since we had such a good experience with the kitchen and bath remodels Pristine did last summer. Nathan came over on early on a Sunday and we reviewed what we wanted to do. We had a completed contract the next day and work started one week later. Most work except the custom desk was completed in just 4 days! The desk was delivered and installed a week later (after we had new industrial carpeting installed). They finished up one day later with new moulding, painted to match the ceiling paint, and reinstalled vertical blinds (they even cleaned them!). Their workers show up daily on time, put in a full day's labor and achieve something of substance daily, plus clean up at the end of each day. Nathan and/or Mike checked in regularly and called after the job was completed to see if we were satisfied. I cannot recommend them highly enough - they are honest and thorough and aim not just to meet your needs but exceed expectations. They are truly end-to-end in their service ethic. Now I just need to come up with another project for them!

I called Nathan and Pristine Construction back to remodel my master bath after great experience last year which they have remodeled my other bathroom. Like my previous job, they did an amazing job with the master bath. They did electrical work, plumbing, tile, painting, framing, custom cabinets, counter tops and frame less glass work. Nathan and Mike (Pristine's Owners) are excellent to deal with in every aspect of the work, you can ask them anything you can think of and will answer all your questions, always friendly and accommodating. They have great sense of design and their workers are superb, working like artists. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. I hope i will be able to save up some more money to call them back to work on my kitchen, when time will come around to do so they will be my one and only call. I will refer these guys to anyone with no hesitation. I deeply thank everyone at Pristine Construction for an outstanding second round.

For a few years, we looked for another house to buy, and just couldn't find one that we liked. We then decided to add on to our kitchen and stay in our existing home for a while longer (we've already been here for 20 years!). I had no idea who to call, what to do, so I went to Angie's List and found Pristine Construction because of the good reviews they had. I called for an appointment and Nathan came to see me a couple of days later. OMG!!! I thank my lucky stars I found this guy!! We talked about the things I wanted in my new kitchen and he drew some rough plans. Nathan spent a total of approximately 10 hours with me without asking for a cent! I had two other bids where they told me I would have to buy a set of plans first, then they would design and price the job. Nathan showed me a 3-D drawing on the computer (awesome!) and we both thought it was pretty great until he came over the next day and said he came up with a better idea! We decided on his "better idea" and made an appointment for a start date. Nathan told me it was a 3 month project and he was true to his word down to the day!! We started on 2/16/14, the crew showed up exactly on time and Nathan showed up too! Very unusual, I'm told, in this business! These guys were all "top of the line" craftsmen! Every single day I counted my blessings that I found this company. Then down the road, Mike showed up! A true blessing in disguise! Nathan and Mike are partners and they make such a fabulous team. Nothing like I've ever seen before. They have a strict schedule and adhere to it down to the minute. I had to do nothing....they did everything! By the way, we pushed our kitchen out 5-1/2 feet with all top of the line appliances, etc., etc., etc. Nathan was there every step of the way with the purchasing of appliances, tile, flooring and more. Anything you could think of, Nathan had a suggestion, which I almost always took! And then Mike stepped in with suggestions and I went with those too! These guys are perfectionists and every single little thing had to be right before they left each and every day. Yes....every single day......Nathan was here or Mike was here, or they were BOTH here. Again, I am thanking my lucky stars!!! Midway through the kitchen remodel, we decided to tear down the fireplace in the family room and replace with mosaic tile, hang a new TV, etc. Nathan and Mike could not have been more accommodating. They immediately began that job and coordinated with the kitchen job, again, everything being finished at the same time and on time. (I can't get over these guys!) Our job went so smoothly I urge anyone looking for home improvement to hire Pristine on the spot without interviewing anyone else. I can't be any happier than I am right now! Everything was done to the highest caliber and I would honor any questions from anyone about my experience with Pristine. I, for sure, have the greatest kitchen in the San Fernando Valley with the real WOW! factor! I love, love, love it!! Not only was our job done to the highest of expectations, we actually made friends with Nathan and Mike and hope we can do some socializing together soon. They are two very wonderful men! I know we will have another job for them in the near future because I am so looking forward to working with them again!

He kept in contact daily, and . . . get this guys. . . he showed up on time for EVERYTHING! Every appointment, every job that was being sub contracted, every promised phone call, he was there the second he said he would be. And for those of you who have no experience in this, THAT is worth its weight in gold, and a rarity in the contracting business! His workers are friendly, considerate, and happy (a good sign, since that means they like working for him.) And the results. . . SUPERB! Our master bath turned out even more spectacular than we could have ever imagined, and that is largely attributed to Nathan's valuable input. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted going into this project, but Nathan was willing to have an intelligent, calm, logical discussion on every aspect, and was convincing on all counts when he felt I needed to re-think something, like placement of a tub, layout of the room, sizes of various elements within the room etc. Hate to say it, but his ideas were better than mine. There. I said it. He knows what he's doing. Listen to him! On top of that, the quality of his installations are flawless. Our master bath looks like a Ritz Calton Spa now. . . dear God, we're gonna have to re-do the other parts of the house now to live up to grandness of this remodel! Folks, I can't stress enough how satisfied we are with Pristine Construction. Call them. Give them a chance before you let someone else do the job. You WON'T be sorry, I promise. We called pristine out for the second time after an excellent experience with our kitchen remodeling, as like before they completely renovated our master bath with a stunning end results. we have been to friends houses and can tell a huge difference in the finished details. if you will have chance to work this amazing company, you will see what we are talking about. we will call them back to work on our kids bathroom in a little while, Thanks to all pristine great crew and the owners Nathan and Mike for their hard work in second round.

Straigthforward and on time. Workers were excellent. Work was done efficiently and well. Nathan was available and straigthforward to talk with and a huge help. The bathrooms look great.

The overall experience was nothing but excellent, Nathan, mike and their crew were extremely, professional and accommodating, helpful, they got the job on time and budget, we had an issue with the gas company but pristine helped us with it and with a lot of things not related to the original scope. we will refer them to anyone who needs a hassle free job, they are just awesome to deal with in any aspect. i have nothing else to say, when we will need future projects they will be the only phone calli will make. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is the second bath remodel that Pristine has done for us. The job was done well, on time and we are extremely satisfied. If you want a hassle free experience this is it. Nathan will suggest and help you with time and fixtures. Because he knows the vendors you don't have any trouble with delivery etc. If there are problems he will take care of it. The tile is beautiful. They completely rearranged the footprint of the bathroom to take out a door to the outside that we never used, which allowed us to make a much larger shower. Nathan had suggested this...it cost more but was completely worth it. Workers are on time, very competent and clean up everything. Nathan and Mike check in all the time and are great fellows. The job is now done and it is great...couldn't be better...really...and when we do the kitchen we will call them again!

I put off remodeling my kitchen for years, because I had no construction or design experience, and was intimidated at the prospect of tearing out an important part of my home and having construction done while I was living and working there. I found Pristine Construction by its positive Angie?s List and Yelp reviews, and when I met owner Nathan, he put me at ease about the process, and had some great ideas for making changes to the kitchen. Even though it wasn?t actually the lowest bid, I went with Pristine because they inspired my confidence. The crew, all very friendly and polite, showed up right on time at 8:00 a.m. every morning, worked all day until about 5 or 6, and cleaned up after themselves every night. Mike or Nathan checked in every day to oversee the progress. I also had them replace all of the wood flooring throughout the entire house, and, because I had to use my office and couldn?t stop work for too long, they managed to move everything out, replace the floor and baseboards, and move everything back into the room in a single day. They tore the kitchen down to the studs and completely remodeled it, while I was working in another room at home most days. The work started right on time and finished right on schedule [in just 6 weeks] and on budget, and the kitchen looks fantastic. Even though I only had a limited galley-shaped space to work with, my sleek, modern kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I am happy and thrilled with my new kitchen, and it looks even better than I imagined it would.

As promised in Vol. 1 of this review, here is the 2nd part after all work was done. The job was perfect and here are the whys and wherefores. Nathan the boss was 100% on time, every time--I don't mean that a 8:30 appt he got there at 8:50, I mean the door bell rang at 8:30 sharp. ?He was always here when work was done and the work was so fantastic. ?His crew is great, polite, always cleaning up after working--no radios no nonsense, just good work. The granite cutting was so good you cannot tell there was any cutting. ?The cabinet doors match the remaining cabinets perfectly and the old ones are 15 years old. ?The wolf range looks like it was always there. Now for the extras: 1) Nathan quoted me a fair price for all the work but it turned out he had to spend several hours tearing up the flooring under the range and adding matching floor tiles. ?He did not charge me for this extra work which was not contemplated when the job was bid. 2) During the cabinet installation I noticed a drawer on the other side of the kitchen would not close because the granite over time had settled. ?Nathan fixed it right away and charged nothing to do it. 3) A little thing but it shows the pride and professionalism of this company. ?He placed a small transparent stop button on the side of the granite where the new cabinet door stopped-not necessary but a perfection touch. Conclusion--If you want professional, reliable and beautiful work done in your home--Look no farther than Nathan and his company. ?You might find somebody a little cheaper but you won't find anybody that's better.--oh yeah, I almost forgot 4) Installed self closing drawers rather than just regular drawers which I thought I was going to get.

If I would have to describe in writing about our experience with pristine construction, there would not be enough words in this space to say all the good things about them. The owners Nathan, mike and their employees went beyond and above of what we expected. We found them to be extremely professional, reliable, honest, curious, trustworthy, respectful, friendly and delivering what they have promised and more. All our friends hates their contractors, WE LOVE OURS. Every single trade of the job, and there were many of them, was handeled and crafted as best as it can be. We are very specific in what we wanted, with pristine you'll get the product you have imagined. We feel that we were lucky to have found them to operate on our project. Nathan was very accurate, accommodating and precise from start to finish, we could tell right away of his tremendous experience in the construction industry. We would highly recommend them to any homeowner that would like piece of mind with his project, using pristine construction is a no regret option, what there is more to say, THANK YOU ALL AT PRISTINE CONSTRUTION.
