I have to apologize. I was sure I had written this review already. And now I have forgotten names. That said... The gentleman came out in a timely manner. He was very cordial, and willing to answer all questions. He had the heater changed out and the old removed in great time. Left the house clean. We were very pleased.

Chris did an awesome job, showed up on time, called me when he was on his way. The water heater was installed within an hour and a half. Service was awesome!

I requested quotes for the installation of a warranty replacement water heater from several companies. Water Heaters Only were the most responsive to my query. Chris Scoville came out and provided a free quote, which was in the ballpark of other I had received. Chris was helpful and forthcoming when he made the estimate. His professional demeanor, in tandem with other online reviews for his company, I elected to go with Water Heaters Only. In fact, Chris was available to the job right then. Within an hour, I had my new heater securely installed and the old heater taken away. I was very satisfied with Chris and Water Heaters Only.

They were extremely professional. The water heater developed a slow leak and needed to be replaced. The company sent out the techs as promised and performed the required work within promised time frame. Also, nice that they do not charge extra for coming out on the weekend. I would definitely use them again in the future.

These guys quoted a much lower price over the phone than their competitors. Turns out they came in and quoted a price that was higher than the phone estimate, which was annoying but still less than their competitor's price. Plus the coupon cut off another $150. Installation was going fine until the guy's hand truck tire popped and he was dead in the water for close to two hours while another guy came by. Seems like a pretty basic oversight not to have a backup. But overall the job was done in a professional manner.

He was very courteous and proffesional and assured me he would have me up and running shortly. I had already drained and removed the busted water heater so it made his job that much more easier. Which he indicated and was very thankful! Since I had nothing better to do than to watch, he let me know what he was doing step by step.

I came home from dinner on Friday night, June 26th, to see my water heater slowly leaking. It's in a cabinet outside which I happened to see as I went out to retrieve laundry out of that room. I always thought a broken water heater meant 40 gallons all over the ground. Still, this looked ominous. I had written in a Sharpie pen on the water heater all the pertinent info about its purchase: May 2005 and where I purchased it: Water Heaters Only. I immediately went to my desk, looked them up and called. A nice man ANSWERED THE PHONE professionally at about 8:30 PM. He said I would be the first stop on Saturday morning. The quote was $1,100 for a new 40-gallon water heater. About 8:48 AM on Saturday, June 27, technician Chris Scout (last name -- not sure, but it was Chris) arrived. He was wonderful. Not only did he install the new water heater, he thoroughly explained the steps to use the new one, which is much more modern than mine from 10 years ago. I was able to purchase a $300 discount from Angie's List for $150, so my charge to Water Heaters Only was $800 (plus $150 to Angie's List -- total, $950). And I immediately typed a note with all this pertinent info and sealed it with packing tape on to the side of the water heater. When it goes out I don't have to think, "Where did I buy this?" I will know: Water Heaters Only! A++ service.

It went great! Chris arrived at 8:48 PM and it took about 90 minutes -- but that includes the 20 minutes he took to go outside and help me look for my cat, who got out through an open door. That I left open! Chris actually found her, so he's the BEST. All is well with kitty. Water Heaters Only installed my last 40 gallon water heater in May 2005 and I had written all the info (date, warranty, price, phone numbers) on the water heater in a Sharpie pen. My best home DIY trick ever. I knew exactly who to call this time. I was able to purchase the Angie's List $300 discount for $150 while Chris was here, taking the water heater from $1,100 to $800 (really $950 with the purchased coupon). He was a very kind, thorough, decent person and I would have them come back in a heartbeat. He even showed me how to operate it. Very A+++ work.

I had no hot water and freaked out a bit. I didn't think the utility company would be able to make it out today. So I called Waters Heater Only. They picked my call on 7am on a Sunday and said they could have someone out there in 3 hours. The representative on the phone was able to give me a preview and point out which deal would be the best option. Well they were quick, but surprisingly, the utility company was quicker. When I called and told them they were not needed (and also the guy who showed up 15 minutes later) everyone was super nice and just happy I had hot water. If it turns out to be more than just a pilot light going out, these guys will be my first call.

They were wonderful, quick, and professional. They came right out, they were very careful and clean and did a wonderful job.

A price was quoted for the new water heater. I then went on Angie's List and purchased a discount coupon which was applied to the quoted price. The price seemed reasonable to me and was accepted. The old water heater was drained, disconnected, and removed. The standing water was removed and the area dried. We were lucky to have had custom make metal pan under the water heater that contained the water from the leak. The new water heater was positioned, connected, filled with water and the flame ignited. The technician explained how to start the water heater and detailed how the other controls worked. The entire job about two hours. The most time consuming part of the operation was just waiting for the old water heater to drain. I was most impressed that from the time I called the company to the time the technician arrived at our home was only an hour and a half. The service technician Chris Scoville was very friendly and courteous. He called when on his way and arrived when he said he would. He was knowledgeable, skilled and left a very clean area when he was done.

Showed up exactly the time as promised. Very polite and knowledgeable. Did an excellent job of installing and cleanup!

Outstanding service. Very courteous and efficient with collecting details to get me an estimate. Their estimate was much better than two other companies I checked with first. Their replacement expert Matt was right on time, and called me in advance to let me know he was on his way and going to be right on time. I needed to have them come out twice...not their fault, but Matt showed me that my 22-yr old platform was not the right height. He showed me on his smart phone a new stand I could get on my own (saving me some extra $$) that would be perfect for a 75-gal heater and at exactly the right height. That meant that Matt needed to make a 2nd trip out to my home, but I didn't get charged extra for the 2nd trip. He was right on time again for the 2nd visit. The work was professional, efficient, and I'm extremely happy with the price I was quoted...and the fact that no extra charges got "slipped in" between the time of the original estimate and when all the work was completed. Very happy with Water Heaters Only.

Very polite and punctual, answered my questions. I had purchased a voucher of $150 directly from Angie's list that was good for $300 off final cost. Overall price was less when I compared to other companies offering similar equipment. I called the company directly and asked for "usual basic estimate" for routine install, was given a price range and then I asked about the $300 credit which they said would be credited off the final price. No gimmicks, went well. Happy with final result.

Friendly services at a good price.

Jim came out on time and was very helpful. He explained everything and helped me understand my problem. I was very pleased with his attitude and helpfulness. Price was same as estimate over the phone so no surprises.

Our 50 gallon gas water heater was not replaced due to a leak but due to it's 17 years of service plus the local utility company was offering a $100 rebate on certain EF rated heaters. Being a newbie to Angie's list I took a look and found Water Heater Only was going to be a great choice. I purchased a coupon front Angie's List and they contacted the company and later I received a call. I set up a date & time . Water heaters installer JIM contacted me and we discussed my options and settled on a firm quote. All the work performed was of superior quality & product. For me it was fun to just talk with JIM and watch him do his magic. I couldn't have found a better business that would have done this job for the price. I love , love ,love this company. My water heater went out on a Friday afternoon. Water Heaters Only Inc. responded within an hour. It took less than an hour to complete the job. Matt told me exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost before he started. He answered all of my questions, was very courteous and professional. This was with out a doubt the most painless service call I have ever made.

I purchased a voucher in the morning and by Noon, I had a response to schedule an appointment. It turns out that Jim was able to come that afternoon and replaced a faulty water heater. Couldn't have been easier. Thank you very much!

The service turned out great but the $150 for the $300 savings wasn't really any savings. That didn't set very well with me. They basically jacked up the price to cover the Angie's List discount. They raised the price $300 so they basically charged me what they would have charged me before the discount. I didn't think it was a very good deal from Angie's List. I won't do that again. The service was fine but it was a gimmick to buy a discount and there wasn't a discount. The company was prompt and the installation was fine. They were courteous.

It went great. The service guys was on time, helpful, fixed the problem, and the price was very reasonable.

I purchased the $150 for $300 credit toward water heater replacement. Jim called to verify a few things before he showed up. As a matter of fact, he came before the scheduled time. He was prepared to get to work after looking over what needed to be done. After the work was completed, he cleaned up everything.

I am very very pleased with the service and promptness of Water Heaters Only. They came out same day and replaced our water heater. Since it was a Friday, and we used our Home Warranty Service I was concerned that I would have to spend the weekend with no hot water but they arrived just a couple hours after we discovered the problem. Jim was friendly, informative, fast and cleaned up after himself as I would expect. Thanks Jim for a great job, and thanks Water Heaters Only for getting her so quickly.
