Our water heater failed so we contacted WHO. They responded very quickly, installed the water heater, and tested. Unfortunately the heater had a factory defect so it too had to be replaced. The employees immediately left to secure another water heater, returned promptly, and performed the second replacement. The employees were very personable and diligent while dealing with the unfortunate circumstances. Price is good, workmanship is sound, good job.

It went very well. The service was professional, punctual and clean.

They came right away. The heater was installed & ready to go on Friday. On Saturday afternoon, I tried to take a second shower. No hot water. I went out to check the heater. The pan (luckily I got one of those) was completely filled with water. It went all over the floor since I did not have a chance to put a bucket underneath either. I called & was told that the earliest someone could come out was Monday morning. Apparently, there is no plumber on the weekends. A little strange since they advertise 24 hour service/7 days a week. I spend a few hours using a turkey baster to soak up all the water before restarting it. The original guy came on Monday morning as promised. Water had expanded and one of the hoses needed to be tightened. No problem since then. Overall, I'm satisfied.

With out of town guests at my home, my water heater suddenly stopped working. After checking on Angie's List, I called Water Heaters Only. After speaking with the owner over the phone early that morning and weighing my options as he described them, I chose to get a new water heater installed instead of trying to get it repaired. The Water Heaters only installer was at my house in about 3 hours and I had hot water again in about 4 hours. Great experience all around.

David called back as soon as same day appointment was available (within 30 minutes after initial call to the company). Chris S, the technician, called within 15 minutes to let me know that he can come out ASAP. Chris interfaced with my wife with courtesy, provided quote, and perform replacement job within 2 hours. Water Heater Only Inc's quote was the lowest and I'm very satisfied with the service they have provided. I highly recommend giving them a call.

A townhouse I own developed a slow Water Heater leak. The Water Heater was in a closet inside the Unit, was 15 years old, and placed prior to my purchase directly on the concrete with no overflow pan. I called Dave at Water Heater's Inc and he had an installer out that afternoon. Due to my work schedule I had my daughter meet Chris the installer at the Unit. Chris was extremely pleasant over the phone and carefully explained to me and my daughter what he felt needed to be done to correct the previous install. I contacted Dave at the main office and we agreed upon a price including my Angie's list discount. Chris did a beautiful install with new Energy efficient WH, constructed an onsite elevated platform for it to rest on, installed a drain pan with passive overflow pipe to the laundry room drain. All inn 2 hours. He was very pleasant and professional with my daughter allowing her time to clean up and sterilize the area under the previous water heater. The whole process could not have gone better.

Chris did an excellent job installing the new water heater on the same day I called. He was on time, explained what he was going to do and did a great job. He explained what he did at the end of job and how to start the pilot light. He made a stressful situation much better and would use them again.

PAT did a great job. 40-gallon water heater replacement was quick and thorough. He provided detailed explanations on how to start and suspend the heater. I'm satisfied.

I called the company on Sunday morning and scheduled an appointment for Monday to replace my water heater. A short while later, the customer service representative called me to say they had an opening on the same day (Sunday). The technician, David P., called a short while later to let me know he would arrive in 30-45 minutes. He was on time, professional, explained the process and completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time.

Very Well, after ringing on Sunday Morning the representative on the phone was very patient, answered all the questions and said someone could be available in 2 -4 hours. I got a call from a David, who came over within 2 hours, was very professional, showed what was wrong, installed a new water heater, with a pan and showed us completely how it worked and left after he had answered all questions we had. He checked water pressure, and didn't try to upsell a regulator or anything, said it looked good.. Very impressed with the service, professionalism and warmth of this company, and thanks to Angie's List prepaid in advance so saved some money in the process.. Much better experience than ever before...

We ended up having them remove our old water heater add new In and Out Lines for the water add a new gas connection at a pan bring everything up to code with the exhaust and move the lines to convert from a tall to a short to get up to California code

After purchase it said the company would call to schedule but I initiated the call since the leak was pretty bad. I was happy to see they were 24/7 as some other companies didn't open until 9AM. The gentleman found my Angie's List purchase immediately and scheduled someone to come out between 10A-12P. Derek arrived around 11:30A and finished around 1:00P. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he had to do, as I had some old plumbing and a very old water heater (mid-80s). Everything was brought up to code, he centered the heater on the platform (my old one was shifted to the left because of the pipes) and I even ended up with a water heater he mentioned are new requirements in San Diego starting July 1. Derek was fast, thorough, clean, professional, and answered all my questions. The entire process was smooth from purchasing the deal, scheduling, and service. Would recommend. Thank you!

Last week I noticed that I had a lot of water in my garage. It was much more than the regular water on the ground that comes from your cars condenser after running the air conditioner and parking. I followed the water trail, and discovered that I had a leak coming from our water heater. I looked on Angie's List for a reputable company to do the work to replace the water heater, and Water Heaters Only seemed like the best choice. I called them, got an estimate that was reasonable, and made the appointment. Jim called when he was on his way, and came well within the window of time that he said he would. Once he arrived he immediately got to work figuring out what the actual cost would be to make the replacement. He also checked the pressure going into the water heater, and it was at 100psi which he said was acceptable, but starting to border on high. Rather than worry about a regulator going bad, and being charged for an additional service call I decided to go ahead and replace it as well for about an additional $200. I also found a $200 credit for $100 coupon on Angie's List for Water Heaters Only which I bought and gave to Jim. He added it to the bill, so I only paid him $1214 in total for the replacement water heater, the labor to take out the old one, install the new one, dispose of the old one, remove the old pressure regulator, and install the new one. So, it was really $1314 total, but I felt like I got a VERY quality job for that amount of money! Now we have no leaks, and we have better water flow and great pressure even though our actual water pressure is lower in the pipes. Jim was very professional and personable, and he did a great job. I felt like he was a very honest guy as well. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend Water Heaters Only to anyone needing a water heater replaced.

It was fine. My frustration was that they didn't ask upfront what size water heater I have, how big is my home, because by the time the guy came and saw my water heater, he had to go and get another one. Once he put it in, he said we should have probably have a bigger one for the house, so I said maybe if someone would have said something before, it would have been nice, as this was the first time we were replacing it. Their upfront people should have asked more questions because mine had to have a top vent thing, which is very unusual and it is twice the cost. It was much more expensive in the end, but I had no choice, but I should have had a higher capacity water heater. I just wish they would have asked more upfront about that. We had been without hot water for 3 days, so they came out literally the next day. They can do better with their up front questioning about your house, because I could have had a bigger one, and if I had described mine, they would have known it would be different. The guy had to come back and it was a lot of wasted time. The guy who installed it was very nice, very clean, and very respectful. They only deal in Bradford, and they were okay, because Bradford is not a cheap brand. I had no choice because of the style of the venting. The guy saw the venting system and there was another part that helps the water flow faster, and he should have brought the part, but he didn't. I found it weird that they were here for a commercial home, and he couldn't bring the pump. I didn't get a full complete job that I was expecting in that respect. They were responsive. I would use them in the future, I would just be smarter about what I am asking for.

They answered the phone at 6 am on a Sunday morning...and they were the only company that could help me with one call (didn't take my info and make me wait to call me back). Derek showed up by 11:00 that same day. He was fast, professional, friendly and explained everything to me. Their estimate beat the other companies significantly. They also accepted the online offer/coupon which saved me a little more money. Excellent company.

OUR APPOINTMENT WINDOW WAS BETWEEN 2 AND 5 PM AND PAT CALLED AT 2 PM TO SAY HE'D ARRIVE WITHIN A HALF HOUR. HE ARRIVED BEFORE 2:30 PM AND PROMPLY WENT TO WORK. PAT WAS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. AFTER THE WATER HEATER WAS INSTALLED HE EXPLAINED HOW THE MICROCHIP PILOT LIGHTER FUNCTIONS IN CASE WE NEEDED TO RELIGHT THE WATER HEATER BURNER IN FUTURE. WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND THE PRODUCT SUPPLIED.

Everything went without a hitch. Chris Scoville with helper, Pat were punctual (calling before to make sure I was home). Chris explained in detail what he would be doing. When they were done, Chris reviewed and explained everything on the water heater. Complete information is attached to the heater, thank goodness, because I have a short memory when it comes to mechanical and technical things. Chris was very professional. They left the garage area of the water heater perfectly cleaned up.

The crew showed up on time as discussed, and replaced the water heater very quickly. We are thankful for their service, and would definitely recommend them again.
