We had a perfect experience. He called to ask if he could come in early, which was great. Jeff gave us options with prices, fixed all the locks, and VOLUNTEERED to add in the discount for Angie's list. Two big thumbs up.

Jeff came out on time and was very professional. He went around to see the locks first and then gave me a general estimate. His final bill was a bit more expensive than the rough estimate but it was close enough. I think he estimated around $370 and it was $430. So it was close and I didn't mind. He did give me a 10% Angie's List member discount and an itemized bill. One thing is that the front door he wasn't able to key it to the same key as the other entrance to the house so that was a bit disappointing but he did say that he would check with the store to see if he can get the part he needs and promised to call me in the next day or two and come out and add it to the same key. He said that he wouldn't charge another service call for that. Definitely I'd highly recommend him to anyone and will use him again for locksmithing needs.

We recently moved to San Marcos. We called Jeff who came the next day. The work was excellent. He explained how to work the doors we were having a problem with. he was clean and efficient. I expected to have to pay much more because we had three doors to change, so the price was right. I said I found him on Angie's list which gave me a 10% discount. If you need a locksmith, he is the one to call.

We called Choice Locksmithing & Security, Inc. and the owner came out in about an hour, exactly as promised. He was friendly and clearly knew his stuff and was happy to explain what he was doing. He clearly explained our options and gave us an extremely good price, particularly for the amount of time he spent working on the problem. I also felt extra good about supporting a quality independent small business, and we couldn't have asked for better service.

jeff was very prompt. i bought a fixer upper from a very unhygienic homeowner and recently found a spare key hidden under the front door mat. my neighbors reported he had teenagers hang out and smoke in his condo. moreover, all the dead bolts required a key on both sides, which was an escape hazard. so i decided i needed to get all the door knobs and dead bolts changed. i emailed the top 4 people on angieslist on monday night. only jeff responded tuesday morning. nobody else wrote me back. he simply gave me the breakdown of the cost of his services. i originally wanted to rekey the locks, but then i realized when he came here, i would see if he could just completely replace all the dead bolts and knobs since they were in terrible condition. w/o hesitation, he stayed much longer than his expected time, working here from 6:00 to about 7:45pm. i really appreciated his help. i am a very busy person and have very little time to get people to call me back. i used N/A for price because i had not comparisons, but i am very happy because he came out very fast and did the job in one shot and now all of my locks were new and secure. i don't have to worry about crazy teens breaking into my place now, and i don't have to worry about being locked indoors if there's a fire or earthquake. thank you jeff!

We called to get our locks changed and Jeff came out the same day! He was extremely polite and professional and changed all of our locks quickly. Would definitely use his services again and will refer him to others in need.

We called Jeff at 10pm. He told us he only charges $10 extra to come out at night and the total charge would be $170, so we asked him to come immediately. He was at our house 30 minutes later and he completed the task in less than an hour. He gave us a discount for mentioning that we'd found him on Angie's List so we ended up paying only $154, including tax. The rekeyed locks work very nicely and we are very appreciative of the prompt, professional service provided by Jeff.

From the minute Jeff arrived at the appointed time until he finished it went very well. We already had purchased the lock before and had it rekeyed. He had no problem with me watching him as I was curious how it was done and with what tools. He obviously had a great deal of experience and knew exactly had to be done. He even helped us with the molding on the door to make the existing lock more secure. He was professional, friendly, courteous and a pleasure to work with. e

Everything went quite well. Jeff offered good advice and suggestions on what he thought needed to be done and performed the work very effectively and efficiently. He also provided good advice on homes safes, which we are considering. He is quite personable and very easy to work with.

I needed new door locks and duplicate keys made for my house. I also needed a key made for my sliding glass door and duplicate keys made for my recreational vehicle that was on property. I contacted Choice Locksmithing & Security and Jeff set up an appointment for the next day which was a Saturday. He arrived on time, reviewed the work to be done, and we settled on an excellent price for the work. Jeff was very knowledgable about the different types of locks, made suggestions concerning the replacement of several door locks, and set to work. The work was completed in a very timely manner and Jeff did a great job. I would definitely use Choice Locksmithing again for any of my locksmith needs and would recommend him to everyone. The locksmith called to say he was on his way, and showed up within the agreed time range. He took the time to understand what I needed and to discuss options with me first. He was friendly but didn't waste a lot of time chatting. If anything, my chatting probably kept him from doing his work as quickly as he normally would! I stayed out of the way while he did his work. He worked quickly. The job was done well. He cleaned up everything -- not a thing on the floor where he worked. Always a good sign! I got my copies and we went around and tried out the keys on every lock. Everything worked. I can't remember why he said the old keys would not work in the new locks; I think it was a matter of thickness between the old keys and the new blanks but don't quote me on that. I was only mildly disappointed about that, but was quickly over it now that the side door and front door worked again. AND he fixed the side door so that it isn't so hard to close anymore. Good job overall.

Very good! Showed up on time, installed two digital locks that I had purchased and spent the time to train me on how to use them. Asked questions on how I wanted to have things done and did the work quickly and efficiently.
