Jeff was excellent!. Because there were several locks involved, Jeff made a preliminary visit to check out the exact situation. That visit was made at no cost. On the scheduled day he was on time, worked steadily until everything was done. His fee was reasonable and he was courteous and friendly. We would definitely call him again!

He was very nice, but when I called he quieted me $65 and ended up charging us $130. So we were very surprised and upset about that. Not very honest and I hate when people try and screw you over like that.

Very well. I was glad to find someone close to our neighborhood, but I was surprised to find a friend with whom we have a lot in common, and we enjoyed some interesting conversations. Jeff has a well-equipped "office" in his truck, so there were no delays to go get anything he needed, and no "making do" with a less-than-ideal tool, part, or lubricant. It was easy to communicate with Jeff via email, telephone, or text. I was pleased enough to give him a small "bonus."

Jeff came through again! I recently called him as a tenant moved out of a condo that I manage. The lock on the original sliding glass door in the living room was missing a piece and could no longer lock. The lock was so old, there were no parts to order. Jeff came up with idea of swapping out the handle that contained the lock with an identical one upstairs. It took all of 30 minutes to get the job done. Another great job! Thanks, Jeff!

Jeff came out when the Schlage electronic deadbolt on our front door was acting up. At his request, I texted pictures of the lock unit. He texted me again when he was en route and showed up exactly when promised. Jeff diagnosed the issue right away and fixed it - he also fixed the strike plate which apparently had not been installed properly three years ago. I would absolutely hire Jeff again, and encourage you to do the same.

It went very smoothly. Jeff was kind enough to be patient with some communication issues I was having via text and email and ultimately made it work, fitting me in among other jobs he had that day. Perfect, two locks were re-keyed in a matter of minutes. Then he helped to install new locks to replace worn out ones and he was very mindful to save me costs because he re-purposed one of spare parts locks I had and re-keyed it. All done in under an hour. He swept up any residue on the floor. And he was extremely courteous. Thanks Jeff for being such a professional.

The job went well. The locksmith fixed the safe dial and keyed one door lock. He was professional and knew what he was doing. The cost for about one hour's work seemed high to me ($210.00) My experience with Angies' recommendations was not great. There were four recommendations, one didn't do safes, the second didn't go to Solana Beach, the third was a "no show" and the fourth did come to the house to do the job.

Jeff is a very capable, conscientious and experienced locksmith. He did an outstanding job replacing two old deadbolt locks on my custom exterior gate that had some problems that made the installation much more complicated. Jeff is very methodical in his work and pays attention to the smallest details. He double checked all lock and gate operations with me prior to his departure and suggested lock maintenance actions that I could perform to keep the locks in good working order. I will hire Jeff for any future locksmithing projects I have.
