Our front door deadbolt lock needed replacement- suddenly! Jeff responded with a house call on the same afternoon, had all of the parts needed, and quickly assessed the problem. He was done within an hour and our home was once more secure. Would use him again. Price was reasonable.

Excellent. Offered to come over right away; not necessary. Scheduled during the week. Arrived on time did an excellent job.

Checked Angies list for a locksmith. Called one and price seemed high. Next saw Choice and visited their website. The website is exceptional, giving information up front on services and pricing. I am duly impressed. Called Choice and their price was right plus he came within two hours. Highly recommended and I will definitely use in the future should the need arise.

We needed an immediate re-key of our front door lock. I called him based on his existing reviews. He gave me an approximate time that he would be here. He called back to let us know more exactly when he would arrive. He came, re-keyed the lock, and made the number of copies we needed in very short order. During his work visit, I lost the key fob to my car, on which I had had the key that needed to be changed. He helped me find the fob, before he left. I couldn't ask for better service. He is nice, personable, professional, gets right to work, and works quickly. I will definitely use him again, if I need any lock service.

They were really nice, courteous, thorough, and were reasonably priced. They put in good quality locks, not the kind you get at home depot, these were more professional than that.

I asked for estimate and time to complete. The initial estimate was reasonable. Jeff was cordial and gave me a straight answer to all my questions and we agreed to meet at the property. He arrived about 5-10minutes early. He was very professional and he checked all the locks. He found out that some locks were not installed correctly. He went through all the door locks systematically and efficiently. He was done in about an hour. He checked and rechecked and fixed problems on the lock that was not related. I admire Jeff as he went out of his way to do an exceptional job. Jeff, the owner 9++ I chose Choice Locksmithing from Angie's List after reading comments (especially the negative ones when available) on the highly rated locksmith alternatives. Jeff Pugh, the owner of Choice Locksmithing and Security answered the phone when I called (a big plus for me). He was very busy when I called during the week, but was willing to come out Saturday morning. The date was set and he arrived on time. I showed him the problem(s), which he comprehended immediately, and he got right to work. I was interested in seeing what he would do since the first locksmith I had look at the problem 2 years ago could not deal with fixing it and recommended replacing the lock for hundreds of dollars. The second person, from a handyman company, replaced the main patio lock and another 1.5 years ago, but the main lock did not last (nor apparently did the company). Jeff removed the lock, and then removed and showed me the broken part. He took the lock to his truck to repair it. I followed him and he showed me every step that he was going through to repair the lock. I was amazed at how the back of the truck was outfitted and organized. He finished the repair and back to the patio we went. Jeff went on to re-install the lock and test it. He then moved up the ladder and worked on the door closers. It was obvious that 1) he knew what he was doing, 2) did it well and quickly, and 3) that I could not replicate the work myself in the future. So Jeff became my new go-to locksmith. I added any locksmithing work I could think of to the job right then and there. I strongly recommend Choice Locksmithing and Security.

He fit me in toward the end of the day on a Friday. He did a great job, was nice. I am going to use him again, soon.

My wife and I moved into a new house and needed our locks re-keyed. Called on a Thursday afternoon and Jeff answered saying he could come Saturday morning. Showed up on time, very professional, friendly, and fast! It was $75 for the visit and I believe $15/lock to re-key the locks. I'd definitely give him a call again!

I called Choice at 10:00am on a Saturday and spoke with Jeff , the owner, who said he could come by that same day..... He quickly identified what was broken, and explained with great clarity what he needed to do..... a complete professional, great work ....even gave a 10% discount for Angies List customers. I will definitely use them again if I ever need the service of a locksmith.

Great guy - busy moving in and he went about his work on his own, asked questions as needed and finished, doing a great job. highly recommended!

Jeff promptly returned my initial inquiry call. I asked for an estimate for rekeying of a lock. He never asked "what part of town are you in?" which I appreciate because I worry that providers quote different rates based on the relative affluence of different neighborhoods. I was pleased with his price, so we set up an appointment for a date three weeks out. When I called 2 days before our appt to reconfirm, he had not forgotten. He arrived promptly, and was very friendly even though I was 5 minutes late meeting him at the property. I never felt rushed even though he rec'd emergency calls during his visit with me. Jeff gave me a lot of free advice about increasing the security of my building without having to spend a great deal of money. We have another appointment next week to have him install two security devices for which he gave me an estimate on the spot. After this initial meeting, I plan on using Jeff's services for other properties that I manage.

I phoned Jeff on Saturday afternoon after a complete search for a set of keys ended up with no luck. He gave me an accurate quote over the phone and said he could be out in approximately an hour. He phoned me when he was on his way and promptly arrived when he said he would. He made an assessment of our needs, pointing out where two of our locksets were quite worn. We opted to replace those two and rekey the others. He quickly went to work and shortly had completed the work. He had us check the operation of all the locks and encouraged us to make certain we were happy with everything. I asked for a small adjustment on one of the strike plates which he happily made. He was very pleasant, professional, and competent. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Easy to get in touch with and set up appointment. Work very well done and time to do the job did not seem excessive. Price a little higher than I thought it would be but to be fair I did not get any other estimates so it's hard to judge; but I did get the Angie's list discount which was helpful. If I have another "lock" issue I'll absolutely call Choice first.

I consulted Angie's List to get recommendations on a locksmith to re-key 9 locks in my home. Based on the ratings and recommendations, I made an appointment with Jeff, the sole proprietor of Choice Locksmith and Security. Upon his arrival, he immediately went to work to re-key the locks. My wife and I pointed out a problem with the locking mechanism in a pair of French doors. Jeff diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant. His charges were reasonable and fair.

Jeff was great. He was neat, efficient and got the job done. He talked me through the lock types I had purchased and what I wanted installed where and made sure all was done to my satisfaction.

Jeff was great! I called him that morning for a quote and he offered to meet me that afternoon. He was a little late but there was out of the ordinary traffic and he called me to let me know he was behind (which I thought was great!) Once he got there, he walked through the house and gave me advice on changing out the locks. He was friendly, professional and courteous. In fact, he even helped me cut off padlocks that the previous owner of the house had left behind and that we did not have keys to open. He was really helpful!
