+ 1 morePatrick was wonderful! He realized this was not convenient right before Xmas to only be able to send friends and family downstairs to use the only other available bathroom. He was able to come out the very next day after I called him. He was punctual, courteous, and efficient. He had to pull off the trim to fix the track, then slip the door back in and replace the trim. When he was finished, the door frame looked exactly the same, except better because it works and could be locked. There was no mess as he cleaned up spotlessly. He also fixed an old curtain rod that was very old and hard to use. He did this for free as it only took him a few minutes, which I thought says a lot! We will definitely be using him again in the future.
Description of Work: One upstairs bathroom had a broken pocket door so that it was off track and couldn't be closed.

Description of Work: It was a two person job and there is only one of me. Needed to move washer & dryer and the platform they were on to get at an area that needed to be rodent-proofed. Then everything needed to be re-assembled.

+ 4 morePatrick was unusually prompt, responsive, and exhibited the very best in workmanship and dedication. We are out of state (in Florida) and Patrick made every effort to document his progress and his efforts. Patrick was unfailingly polite to both us and to the family occupying our property. He showed great tact while dealing with us and worked well with other trades that were making concurrent repairs. I have had the opportunity to work with other people in the construction and handyman fields, both as a homeowner and as a person who has built three houses. I have never worked with a better representative of the industry. Patrick is a self starter, who uses common sense, skill, and intelligence in his efforts. I can recommend Patrick without reservation.
Description of Work: We had a number of maintenance and repairs tasks that needed completed. These included window repair and replacement, ceiling and drywall repair, and general carpentry.

+ -1 moreThings went well. Patrick provided me with options for addressing the various work items, but let me make the choice on how it got done, and then he implemented what I asked for. He worked within the budget I gave him for materials, and completed the tasks in an effective time manner. In the end, I was very happy with the quality of his work, and his work demeanor. I would certainly call on Patrick for future tasks.
Description of Work: I needed a new mailbox mounted in the front yard, a hole in an exterior door covered, some rust damage repaired on another exterior door, new weather stripping installed around a couple of doors, cleaning and re-caulking of some stacking stones in the yard, and patching of some interior walls in preparation for painting.

There was some work he did I wasn't happy with he came out and attempted to correct it he said that he wanted to make me happy but we just really weren't satisfied with the work. I got to the point we figured that it just was something beyond his ability I don't know. He was a very nice person, the first time he came out he did a simple there was some caulking yeah, yeah he had to come out a few times in March and then he started the big job and that's where the problem was. His rate was $65 per hour. It was a simple job and he did a perfectly fine job on it, the caulking was excellent, looked good you know what can I say it's not anything rocket science.

+ -1 morePatrick did a great job repairing/ replacing part of our side deck that was falling apart with dry rot. He also patched some cracks in our front walkway and filled a big hole that opened up in the sidewalk. He had just had knee surgery, so took awhile to get to us, but did excellent work. He clearly knows his carpentry.

+ 0 moreI am as many would tell you a very tough grader. Mr. Maloney,s services were a plus! Not only did he patch the roof he patched the roof in the rain leaving for extra supplies as needed. His communication was excellent and the work performed exceeded expectations. We will have other jobs in the future likely and would certainly call Mr. Maloney again.
Description of Work: I think all of us who live in the bay area know how difficult it is to find a roofer who can respond to immediate inquiry. Like many, the Recent rainy season stressed our roof and caused an annoying leak. Mr. Maloney assessed the situation and expertly repaired our roof. No more leak.

He took exactly two hours and my backyard looked exactly, actually, a lot better than I was expecting! He brought his own tools and took directions very well. I really didn?t have to say much. He came and I showed him what I needed done and he quickly started working and did not stop until he was finished. I definitely recommend his services.

I was impressed with the fact that he was on the job for three hours straight and did not take a break. He told me if I didn't fix it, when it rains the water runs into the garage. He is excellent and has charged me less sometimes. He does give me an estimate and he charges by the hour. He gives me a call if he is going to be late.
Description of Work: Patrick Joseph Maloney~Nothin22it~ did some wood patching for me. He patched the back of my house that faces the ally, it's made of wood. He fixed my dishwasher.

Description of Work: Everything LOL! He did such a great job the first day that I had him come back and install a sink in our downstairs bathroom. His hourly wage is reasonable and the min of 2 hours makes sense. The first day he worked for me he took down mirrors, hung pictures, fixed a bureau, a kitchen cabinet a doorway and more. The second time he came he installed a sink that was not an exact fit. It took a lot more work than anticipated but he did not complain, when to the hardware store, removed the old sink and was a delight to have in the house. I have three children and he was extremely personable. I'm so pleased with his work that I will be hiring him again to fix our shower stall.
