Overall it was a great experience (good would not do them justice). We called for an estimate which cost under $100.00. The technician was qualified to give estimates on both termites and the extermination of roof rats and he was extremely professional and friendly. He did a thurough inspection for both. We were shocked that the price was so low. We had not compared prices but in our minds we were expecting it to cost well over $1,000, which is why it took us a month and a half to do anything. We thought the rats would cheerfully come to a gentlemen's agreement with us and leave of their own free will...WRONG. The same day as the estimate he laid traps in all the right places and in the correct way and we immediately started seeing proof that they knew what they were doing. We had no success at all when we tried to use our own traps. He also was qualified to give us a bid on termites and put our mind at ease by letting us know that they weren't subterranean termites. I was concerned that critters (even though they were rats) would suffer and we'd hear them crying. Thankfully that wasn't the case. He inspected every square inch of our house and some out buildings. It cost $35.00 a week to come check the traps and to reset them..well worth the price. I was appalled by the sheer number of rats we caught in the first week. We had to wait a week and a half for a technician to come out and rat proof (skunk proof & racoon proof) our house. It was well worth the wait. He spent almost an entire day here. I didn't realize how much work they would be doing. They used mesh and concrete and sealed all of the entry passages. They added weather strips on our garage door which had a gap at the bottom. The technician was professional and an extremely hard worker. He had to work around rose bushes and a high energy dog who wanted to play. Our crawl space is really wierd but they didn't hesitate to go under the house (they had to go through a bench seat built into the deck.)They have always been on time whether it was a bid, rat removal or the rat proofing process. The technician came from Santa Rosa and drove to Concord and was slightly late but so slightly that I don't consider that an issue. They will continue to come out until there are no rats caught. It will be impossible for more to move in due to their efforts but there may still be some wiley ones that are inside the walls that have avoided traps. They have a warrantee of one year. When we have our termite work done we know we'll call THE HITMAN. I have never been so happy to write a check for a home repair or service before. Simply put THE HITMAN ROCKS!!! i know my rave revues might make someone think I have stock in the company or that I know the owners but I don't. The roofrats creeped me out so much that the HITMAN TECHS ARE MY HEROES. They are brave and go where no other men dare tread..under the house, into the attic, into the garage (which I haven't entered since the rats have shown up). Despite knowing that they might come upon a rat they don't hesitate to investigate creepy places to catch creepy critters. Even my husband who has bravely emptied some of the traps in between their pick up schedule would never go where they've been. The Hitman did everything but give me a therapy session to get over my fear of rats. THE ENTIRE FAMILY IS SLEEPING BETTER NOW THAT THOSE PESKY CRITTERS AREN'T PARTYING IN OUR WALLS. Daryl

We tried a couple well-known companies to deal with the rats, but they were unable to get rid of them, and they weren't that responsive or understanding of the effect the problem was having on our homeowners. Then we tried Hitmen. Danny and his team were 100% committed to taking care of our out-of-control rat problem and they were relentless seeking out every aspect until the problem was under control. These guys really know what they are doing, and they were really personable and understanding of the issue. We've also been dealing with a termite problem in one of our buildings. We've had several inspections done by big brand companies that were quite vague about what they would do for the work they quoted. When we asked for more details, it was difficult to get an explanation, and one company actually refused to get back to us. On top of it, quotes varied tremendously. We then remembered how great Hitmen was with our rat problem so we called them and immediately the difference in customer service alone, was such a big improvement. Dave from Hitmen spent hours with us explaining every detail. He even came to an HOA meeting one evening to address questions from the homeowners. Dave, Nester and Joel came out to do the job. They were careful to protect carpets, walls, etc, and they cleaned everything up beautifully when they were done. What a nice group of people! I called for a quote and they never called back. Probably just busy which might be a good sign but not helpful for me.

I found a small hole in the drywall near my front door. Upon further investigation, it looked like subterranean termites. I brought a couple of companies out to do an inspection. The Hitmen came out to inspect for free and had the lowest bid, so I scheduled an appointment to have them come out and do termite control and prevention around the condo. The person who came out to do the job was on-time and professional. He drilled a couple of holes inside the place to put Termidor near where the infestation was noted, then did the same thing for the entire outside perimeter of my condo. I'm extremely pleased with the service provided.

It went very well. We were lucky the ants did not come back. They had a warranty. The gentleman was kind, professional and fast. He explained about the chemicals they were spraying. I have a 17-month old son and was worried about the chemicals that could be sprayed inside and outside the house. We spent about $150. They were the least expensive. I was pleased with their work. We will use them in the future.

Overall, the Hitmen provides excellent service in the area of termite, wood beetle, and other pest control. Offices are located in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties, but the firm also serves areas of San Francisco.

It's gone well so far. They have been very prompt and courteous. They actually call the day before to inform me that they will be appearing to do work on the outside of the house.
