Hitman Pest Control

I called the Hitmen Pest Service because they were on Angie's List. Their representative came when he said and was very professional and seemed extremely knowledgeable. He inspected the property, including in the meter boxes. Because I was having trouble with the Oriental Cockroach (which are abundant in my area), he not only checked around the house but also inspected meter boxes. He was able to identify the type of ants I had immediately. He sprayed all around and then said that he would come back in two weeks to check and respray as needed. He did return as promised and resprayed for the ants. (I have only had one roach since the first spraying. About two months later, I called because the ants seemed to be coming back. I was told that I was already scheduled for a re-inspection and treatment the next day. (While that was helpful in this instance, it would have been nice to know that ahead of time.) However, the representative was again thorough and professional and no ants for the moment. I am now on a regular schedule to have inspections and spraying.

They did an excellent job, are honest and friendly. I will use them in the future (though hope that I never have to;))

They use orange products which are a little bit less reliance on pure pesticides. They go above and beyond all the time. They respond immediately when we call, and tell them we are having issues with ants or with spiders. We have 3 buildings on the property, and they willingly go out and take care of all 3 buildings whenever we ask them to. They go out of their way to work with us with our animals. They pay good attention to where the dogs, and cats are. They make sure they put the right chemicals in the right places. They are very friendly, and cooperative. They are actually a pleasure to work with. I have been using them for 3 years.

lInitially the Hitmen inspector performed a complete inspection of our house and explained treatment options and their 2-year warranty. He followed up by e-mailing a written report and quote with options listed. We decided to do localized treatment with Orange Oil and a pesticide using the same ingredient that is in the flea medicine we put on our cats. The Hitmen technician arrived on time and was knowledgable and professional. He took his time and answered all of my questions. They will return to re-inspect and re-treat if necessary before the end of the 2-year warranty. We're hoping this works as we really don't want to move out, tent the house, and fumigate.

I can't remember where their exact location is, but they came out. The service turned out fine.

They were good. They gave me some advice. They told me good things to do to try to minimize stuff, which was really good. They gave me ideas of what they would do if they had to do something. I appreciate that they were honest in that way. They charged me consultation fee. They came when they said. They took time with me. They walked me through everything. They walked me through stuff. They walked me around. I showed them where the issues were. They took the time to explain. I picked up something and they told me it was not safe to do that. They told me all kinds of things.

They were very thorough in their inspection and provided me with a couple of options moving forward. They were very responsive. I would use them in the future if I needed to.

They were on time, professional, and courteous. They did a great job. They answered all of my questions.

Monica responded within minutes to my emailed request. She let me know that while they did service the Oakland area, they contracted out the cleanup portion. She offered to refer me to one of their contractors which I gladly accepted. It seems getting rid of the little pests is easier than cleaning up after them! I will consider using The Hitmen when I need pest control or inspection in the future.

The experience was good. They did the job and took care of it.

After I discovered the evidence of rats in my garage I chose the HitMen because of the reviews I saw on Angie's List. I want to add my comments on their excellent work. They set traps and then came to empty and resent them before doing "exclusion" work to prevent new ones from getting into my garage. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional and knowledgeable. It has now been over two weeks since the exclusion and I finally feel safe putting my car in the garage again. This has been an experience I would not wish on anyone and one I certainly never expected to have but if it should happen to you I highly recommend The HitMen.

I found them on Angie's list. They are very nice thoughtful and very pleasant people. I think they are a wonderful company. They are very honorable.

I wanted a paid-for termite inspection, which few companies seem willing to do if you're not selling the house. Hitmen did a very thorough inspection and was willing to tailor the suggested work to take care of the termites, but not over-treat (yes, we had a few termites). I wanted them to use a specific, lowest-possible toxicity, product for treating subterranean termites and they were able to use the one I wanted I never had the feeling they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. Overall, a very good experience.

Hitmen is a professional organization that does a great job. As a realtor. I have used them many times for pest inspections for homes that are in Escrow. They are not the least expensive option. but when you are looking to get an estimate of cost for repairs or just peace of mind. Spending a little extra is worth it.

They were great. It was fantastic. The owner came out to do the estimate and they were here two days later to do the work. They did a free home inspection and we got a guarantee for 5 years, which nobody else was offering. They were fantastic people. We would absolutely call them again if we needed them.

We never actually see them. They come in, do their job and leave. One time they did the treatment and it rained. They were willing to come back and do another treatment at no additional charge.

They are fine. The pest control side of it is communitive and he comes out when he says he will come and does what he says he is going to do, a very nice guy. With the termite section I am still waiting for the report. He came when said and he verbally gave me a report but still waiting on the written report to come in so we can actually get the damage taken care of. The office staff was very nice and easy to talk to on the phone and they are very professional.

We liked them and will be using them again for the service. They were helpful and on time. They were professional.

Since late 2010 there was servious skunk smell around our house and eventually in the house. The smell was so bad I can't even articulate in words how bad it has been. We had other exterminators and also animal control, etc to the house with various ideas and solutions which we tried to no avail. I finally got on Angie's List and found the Hitmen. I wish I contacted them first! They really know this business...especially Lowell Miller!

This company was professional from start to finish. They called and told me when they would be here, and they were always right on time. If the date was inconvenient for me, they made whatever adjustment I needed. I got the company's name from Angie's List and it shows me that the referrals and reports really work.

They did a superb job and I am very pleased. The person who did the inspection was very nice, friendly and professional. The person who came to do the extermination was great and he too was nice, friendly and very professional. He knew his job well and did a great job and was perfect with the clean-up. Their price was very comparable with other estimates that we got. The company has a really good warranty and they will come back anytime within two years if you have a problem and redo it for free. They also come out automatically before the two years is up and re-inspect and will do anything that is needed.

Arrived on time. Listened to concern about using minimally toxic chemicals inside kitchen area and used natural alternatives. 2 visits exterminated the pests in the kitchen and garage. Continue to use company for maitenance service. No pest problems with regular service in past 9 months. We like that the company sends the same person for regular service. No issues with service so far.
